“I came to Grand Rapids on a last-minute work thing and didn’t want to leave Roxy in the hotel alone for 4 to 6 hours in the evening. I reached out to a couple of folks on rover and Miranda was one of the first ones that replied and was able to take Roxy. This was my first time as a doggy dad leaving Rox with with somebody I didn’t know. We met Miranda at her house and after meeting her found that she is truly a really nice person that truly loves animals and made it easy for me to leave her there. Roxy took to her almost immediately. I picked Roxy up the next morning and everything was great. She’d been walked and had play time few times and she was her normal goofy happy self. Great job!”

About: I grew up caring for three cats, and two dogs. I have experience working in the Veterinary Medicine field and have learned to push myself to give animals everything that I have to give. I'm currently a full time GVSU Pre-Veterinary student. I would love to care for animals in my free-time to fulfill the need I have for Veterinary work after leaving behind my Animal Hospital job for school. I have been trained in techniques to be able to care for your animal's needs and am able to easily follow any specific instructions. I currently have a part time job where I work in the mornings. I am usually free after 3 and early mornings. I have plenty of free time now that it is summer. I have a fenced in yard where your dog can run. I have a dog friendly house where they can’t get in to anything that may hurt them. I can keep them company and provide toys as well.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since birth. I started taking more responsibility for them around the age of 10. The moment I graduated college, I got my own rescue doggo. Maisie is now 10 and likes to sleep and cuddle, so I’m looking to add some energetic pups to my walking route. I’m a nurse and have random time off during the week. My schedule is far from consistent but I hope that helps me stand out as someone to just drop in periodically. I’m a pet parent myself so I know how anxious people can get when you’re away from your babies. And I know how anxious your pets can get too! I’ll follow any sort of instruction you leave!

About: I’ve taken care of animals as long as I can remember, from cats and their kittens, to hamsters and Guinea pigs, squirrels, mice and of course dogs. I’ve had a few cats of my own and currently have an almost 9 year old pitbull and 10 year old cat. I also have experience with deaf animals (I had a beautiful deaf American bulldog Staffordshire terrier mix) and am very comfortable giving medications/shots. My dog is also reactive so I’m very familiar handling those kinds of situations. I’ve always thrived around animals and thoroughly enjoy taking care of and loving on as many as I can. I’m open to anything, walks, drop ins, and overnights in your home. If your pets are happy so am I! I’m currently working part time, so I have a very flexible schedule and I’m hoping to get as many hours with animals as I can get! I am only looking to go to others homes, my home is not big enough for a large crowd of animals unfortunately. I am more than happy to drive to/stay at others homes to take care of their fur babies. I treat every animal like they are my own and follow owners guidelines very closely
