“I came to Grand Rapids on a last-minute work thing and didn’t want to leave Roxy in the hotel alone for 4 to 6 hours in the evening. I reached out to a couple of folks on rover and Miranda was one of the first ones that replied and was able to take Roxy. This was my first time as a doggy dad leaving Rox with with somebody I didn’t know. We met Miranda at her house and after meeting her found that she is truly a really nice person that truly loves animals and made it easy for me to leave her there. Roxy took to her almost immediately. I picked Roxy up the next morning and everything was great. She’d been walked and had play time few times and she was her normal goofy happy self. Great job!”

About: I have taken care of puppies and senior dogs and all different kinds of breeds! I love all dogs and work with kindness and patience! In the summers I'm pretty free so it just comes down to my schedule with other sitting commitments! I'm pretty flexible so whatever the animals need I try to do! I go by the book! About: All of my life I have always had pets. From cats to dogs, guinea pigs to fish, I am very experienced in taking care and looking after animals, from small dogs to big I have had them all. I am very well with walking dogs and being someone they can trust as if I have met them before. I am a recent graduate and have a full time job. I make sure to fit pet care in my day to day life just as I would my own needs. I will not be able to take any pets to my own house, but I will make sure that they are fully taken care of and shown the attention that they need and would normally get from an owner.

I have had pets since I was very young, and I have a lot of other experience watching neighborhood cats and dogs, as well as walking them! I love to play with pets, cuddle with them, and take pictures, too! The extra benefit to this is that I can send you adorable pictures of your furry family members while you’re away. I would make sure that they get all of the food, water, walks, and potty breaks they need—not to mention love! I am happy to stay over night, especially on weekends. I look forward to hearing from you! I am currently available for anytime, as I work remotely. As long as I have the wifi password, I am all set to stay all day! I would only be interested in going to pet owners’ homes, as my house is already full of my own pets! I’m also happy to house sit.

About: I have many years of experience in volunteering at animal shelters working with all kinds of dogs. I am passionate about being able to help the animals feel loved and happy. I have worked with many ages of dogs from puppies to seniors and I love caring for them all. I currently work part-time in the evenings three days a week, so I have mornings open as well as all day on weekends, excluding Sundays. About: I have cared for a variety of pets, from high energy dogs, to mellow, older cats and am happy to spend time with an pet that walks my way. Growing up with a Weimaraner required more than general knowledge when it came to walking and managing the behavior of more energetic dogs, so I am familiar with more disciplined walking or casual walking if it is preferred. I am usually the most free on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4-8pm. I'd be happy to build a schedule with you and your pet that we can stick to if you like consistency or we can keep it casual! I previously cared for my father's 7 year old Weimaraner, so I am used to giving my pet a lot of love. We went for almost daily walks, and runs in an open (fenced) field nearby. I am accustomed to a feeding schedule of twice a day and wake up early to give the first meal, he is always fed in his own bowl. I now care for my 9 year old American shorthair cat and give him lots of love and playtime. Greenies are a staple in our home as well as some good Tikicat wet food.

About: While i have lifelong dog care experiennce, I have worked in the dog industry for 10 years as a dog daycare attendant, dog hiker in the mountains of British Columbia, and in home petsitter. I have experience with all breeds, from small to large, and love puppy play time. I am commanding and authoritative while maintaining a friendly and happy demeanour, which dogs respond well to. I grew up with many small dogs and currently have a large husky cross of my own. My availability is very flexible, as I run an online business and do contract work. I’m currently looking for short term work for the end of the summer. I do not provide services in my home as I already have three dogs and a house full of humans, but I am happy to provide services in your home and take your dog on neighbourhood walks, dog park dates, and runs through the forest.

About: I’ve been responsible for friends and family’s pets since roughly 16, more recently cats in the last 4 years. Plenty of experience all the way from small skittish beagles to large reactive pit mix’s. The key is patience and that’s one thing I can promise with your pet, understanding and dealing with different breeds, ages, sizes, behaviors and sometimes even disabilities/health concerns (we love em all). Also have experience with cats, all the way to senior cats with disabilities/health concerns (hearing & kidney failure) to fat cats with spicy attitude, I would like to say I have a plethora of different experience to care for your pet. Lastly, I think I would be a great sitter by being patient and simply understanding what pets mean to people! I do work full time in office but have work from home flexibility, as well as I pick my hours so can be available if needed. I prefer boarding on the weekends but can be available during the week! I can be available to let your dog out every 2 hours if needed, as well as give medication, feed them, and play with them as well. I live in a 1BR Deluxe duplex, have half of the first floor house to myself, so ample room for another or two. Do have liter box, as well as enough space for another if needed. As well as enough space for a dog crate and their favorite toys, food and treats :) My young pit mix has plenty of space shared with Gibby my cat, but they always choose to lay on the same bed together !
