About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of them until they were old. I am good with pets loving and stern.I will care for all animals like they are mine. I currently have a part time job where I work in the mornings. I am usually free after 3 and early mornings. I have plenty of free time now that it is summer. I have a fenced in yard where your dog can run. I have a dog friendly house where they can’t get in to anything that may hurt them. I can keep them company and provide toys as well.

About: I have always been an animal lover. Animals of many kinds (dogs, cats, chickens, fish and other creatures) have been in my house the whole time I was growing up. Family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk and feed their animals while they are on vacation or away at work. I started pet sitting seriously approximately two years ago and have had multiple week long pet sitting jobs for both dogs and cats. I thoroughly enjoy being a pet owner and pet sitting and would love the opportunity to pet sit for more animals! I work some on the weekends and have class throughout the week, I will have plenty of time to hang with your animals. Message me to see if I’m available for specific times :) I am a part time worker on weekends only, Saturday and Sunday, so I have plenty of time to take care of your animals throughout the week while you are away at work or on a trip. About: I was a Kennel Technician at a general practice animal hospital for 3 years and have been working at an emergency animal hospital since September 2024. I have experience in taking care of dogs, cats, and even exotics. I have 2 cats, a turtle and a family dog, and I have had birds and reptiles, so I love all kinds of animals. I have taken care of puppies/kittens, senior animals, and all in between. I am trained in administering prescribed medications, including insulin. I go to GVSU and would love to help take care of animals in my free time! I am currently a student at GVSU and live in the area. I work part-time at an emergency animal hospital, but I would love to help take care of the animals in my community in my free time. In the past, I have dog-sat very anxious animals. I like to give them their space at first, letting them get comfortable with me being in their home. I understand it is very difficult for them to have a stranger coming into their territory, so I like to announce myself when I come in and use words and cues they would know. I also find it important that I make myself seem as least threatening as possible and let them get comfortable at their own pace.

About: Current Availability: Monday-Friday: 3pm-9pm, perfect for 2nd Shifters! I also offer overnights as "daycare"! Weekends: Open Availability. I have been a pet owner and lover for the last 30+ years with most of my experience with dogs, cats, and horses. My experience includes all species of household pets (limited experience in reptile care), livestock, and most birds. I have had cats my whole life and have rescued, fostered, and even hand-raised kittens. I do not discriminate based on breed so your pitty-pals and other "aggressive" labeled dog breeds are welcome. ❗IMPORTANT: I require a Meet & Greet with every animal I care for. This is a personal as well as professional preference to ensure safety and quality of care for the animal. I do NOT do sudden drop-offs so please plan ahead to ensure you have time to schedule a M&G before service starts.❗ I'm currently working full-time Monday thru Friday 5 am-2 pm in Kentwood, MI. Depending on your location, I can be available for walks or drop ins as early as 2:15 pm. I will only board one dog at a time, and up to two cats. Boarded cats will be kept in a separate bedroom away from my own to ease stress. Long-term boarding for all animals may be possible and considered on an individual basis. I currently have 2 dogs and 4 cats in the home. Both dogs are females, one spayed (rescue) and one who remains intact with plans to spay July 2026 when she is 2. I do not have a fenced in yard so boarded dogs will have to be on a leash or 20ft. longline (not tie-out) while outside. I'm in a community offset from major roads that allows me to walk dogs safely and I live only a few miles from Grand Ravines Dog Park. I am planning on adding a few Sniffspots that I can utilize if preferred.

About: I have many years of experience in volunteering at animal shelters working with all kinds of dogs. I am passionate about being able to help the animals feel loved and happy. I have worked with many ages of dogs from puppies to seniors and I love caring for them all. I currently work part-time in the evenings three days a week, so I have mornings open as well as all day on weekends, excluding Sundays. When caring for pets in a client's home I make sure to keep communication with the owner. I know security is very important as well as respecting the boundaries of the homeowner. When caring for your pet in your home, I will stick to your pet's routine as closely as possible, whether that means feeding them at specific times, taking them for walks, or ensuring they get plenty of playtime. I'll provide lots of attention and affection to keep them feeling secure while you’re away. If your pet needs any special care, like administering medication or following specific instructions, I’m more than happy to accommodate. I understand the needs of pets that require extra attention, as I have dogs of my own who need special care. About: I have had dogs in my life since I came into this world! Dogs are my life and I love every single doggo I see. Fun fact: I’m that dog-loving nut who asks complete strangers on the street if I can pet their babies! Then I promptly start talking to the dog as if he’s my best friend in the entire world who I haven’t seen in 20 years (who am I kidding? Of course every dog is my best friend!) I have owned dogs in adulthood and have successfully trained them utilizing positive reinforcement training as well as click training. I slowly get to know the doggo and meet him/her on their level. I enjoy taking my own doggos (Margie the border collie and Lilibet the corgi) to the dog park and on walks up and down our steep hill! I know how to wear out the excited ones and embrace the couch potato ones :) I have multiple nicknames for my dogs and chances are, your dog will inherit a nickname from me :) I will love on your furry friend like they’re my own. I currently work a flexible full time job for a company I love! I am able to work from home at least 1 day a week and have every other Friday OFF, along with extended holidays. I am able to stay in your home and care for your animals like they're my own! If you live within 10 minutes of 49512, I am able to provide lunch break playtime! I have been very in sync with animals, especially dogs, since a young age. I can tell when a dog is stressed, moody, ready to play; I can recognize the “let-me-out-to-pee-lady” face. If a pup needs to be leashed, I’ll be right there with him until he’s ready to go inside. I’m diligent about closed doors, locked gates, scanning for fence holes or potential escape routes, and I never EVER leave a dog unattended while outside. If you’re baby is staying at my home and needs to be crated, I have a quiet area in my home in a separate suite where he can chill out and relax. All chemicals or poisonous items are kept in a cabinet above our washing machine and nothing is left on the ground. Our cat litter is in a special litter box that is impossible for sneaky poo snack cravers to get into. If your friend doesn’t much prefer cats, we have a private apartment suite on our lower level where we can hang out cat-free!
