“Autummn watched our cat for about a week. She was dutiful and loving with our baby. We got multiple pictures everyday and updates with details of our cat’s activities! I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 3 years every summer for my friends. They had many dogs and cats so i’m used to a busy house with plenty of health instructions for them! I have a lot of work experience working with disabilities and at-home health care! Although this was for humans I have plenty of experience working in daily care and managing timely tasks to maintain safety and comfort for all! I am currently online training for my work, specifically for the rest of may so I will have plenty of time this month to hang out with your pets! I also have a lot of free time and stay in my neighborhood so I will never be too far when i’m not home! I live in a townhome with my 3 roommates who also love dogs. I have the largest room in the house the pet is welcome to stay in, with no hazardous items they could get into. I also have a large downstairs and outside space to take them outside and on walks.

“Jen did a great job with my two pups! A quick visit with some playtime - and made sure everything was as it was supposed to be when she left again! Thank you! We will definitely be calling again!!”

About: I have taken care of pets all of my life. I have had dogs in all sizes, from toy poodles to bernedoodles. I have worked closely in obedience training with my own dogs and have a lot of useful tricks when it comes to training. I love winning dogs over with toys and treats, especially the ones who are a little more antisocial and need some extra time to get used to new people. I have worked closely with many of my friends and family's dogs to teach better leash walking through constant and more reactive walks. I believe all pets deserve love, no matter what stage of life, from puppy to senior pets. I will always give them the love they deserve, whether it be long walks, a game of fetch, or a nice belly rub. I am currently on summer break from college, staying at my family cottage, and all of the work I do is online, giving me plenty of time to take care of your furry friends. I am available all day for walks, playtime, or multiple-day pet sitting. I prefer to care for your pet based on your routine. I believe this allows your pet to feel safer in my care. I encourage owners to leave a note on regular eating times and amounts as well as any activities your pets regularly partake in (walks, playtime, training etc.).

“Taylor was really communicative with me and attentive to my cat, Lenny, while I was away. He can be a little shy, but Taylor quickly won him over and had photos and videos of playtime to share with me each day.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a large part of my life. My parents neighbors and friends have relied on me to watch, walk, and feed their pets ever since I was able to. I am currently work part time during week days I am available everyday during the week anytime after 3:30 and am available anytime on the weekends! At my home I have access to a dog park along with several walking trails nearby. There is also a nearby park and a lot of free and fenced in space for your pets!

“Monique was willing to do a couple of drop ins after I messaged her last minute, and was able to drop in during the middle of the day, which I was ecstatic for. My pups fell in love with her almost instantly. She kept them busy for the length of the drop in, and they were exhausted that night. We’ll be using Monique again.”

“My first time using Rover and meeting Emily! She was absolutely wonderful! She kept me updated through my vacation for our in-home visits, was personable and caring. Will definitely have her help again!”

About: I have always had a strong passion for all animals of every kind. I grew up taking care of animals as small as hamsters up to cows in the parlor as a part of my daily chores. Once I reached middle school I started volunteering for dog breeders taking care of all the old dogs and caring for the newborn puppies giving shots and creating schedules for them. I also got into the Humane Society taking their animal health course and enrichment class learning how to administer shots, pills, and different ways to train and entertain our fur babies. In high school I went to the Tech Center and did their ag and animal science program where I learned a lot more on healthy diets, quality of life, how to train, as well as vet terminology. I volunteered at Howling Timbers where I cared for domestic, semi-domestic, and no domestic animals of all sorts learning about different animal behaviors and what to look out for, how to handle many challenges, and most importantly how to grow a trusting bond with animals of all sorts of different behavior types and how to get them to trust in me. I now do dog grooming after attending a dog grooming school where I learned how to not only groom, but learned basic vet knowledge and tips to treating, how to work and handle older, aggressive, and anxious dogs. I currently work part time which gives me plenty of time and flexibility for anyone’s needs to be with their loved ones. I have a reliable form of transportation and work short days which also gives the freedom of more time for your pets and also how far I can go! I have spare crates in my home as well as a fenced in backyard which allows for all day access to whatever you pup wants to explore! As for visiting other homes that will mainly depend on the pet parent itself and I always carry extra leashes.

“Great communication, great job.”

About: Growing up I’ve always had a love for animals particularly dogs. I don’t think there has been a point in my life I’ve lived without a dog or two. Now as an adult I’ve turned that passion into dog sitting and caring for others pets. It’s hard to find someone you trust and feel comfortable with as this is dog is part of your family. I would love to help with that. I’ve been a dog sitter for over 26 years now through word of mouth. I have personally owned many chihuahuas, huskies, shepherd mix and a coonhound. I specialize in providing care for older dogs who require special attention and a safe, comfortable environment. Additionally, I have extensive experience with dogs who suffer from separation anxiety, helping them feel secure through extra attention and dedicated time. While I am particularly familiar with smaller breeds, I have also cared for dogs of all sizes throughout my career. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog with the same love and care as their own, I would be delighted to help. I’m currently a stay at home mom with older kids in school (8,14,17 and away at college 19 years old). During the day it would be a quiet relaxed environment. I have a passion for dogs and love helping pet owners with any behavioral issues or support as I care for their pets. I’m able to make the dog comfortable and have enjoyed the bond I create with every dog I watch. My goal is to help those relax while gone knowing they don’t have to worry about the care of their pet. While I normally have one dog at a time, occasionally there may be days when boarding and doggy day care overlap or I may do both on a case by case basis but I will do my best to inform owners ahead of time and accommodate owners and pets accordingly. I first would want to know how you care for your dog in your home. From there I try to adjust how I watch him or her in my home so the pet is comfortable doing what they are use to. Communication is important so I can understand what the needs are and provide a safe environment.

“Ricky did an amazing job caring for Bella! Always there at the scheduled times and spent the agreed amount of time with her! I came home to a very happy puppy!! Thank you Ricky!! You are an awesome, caring pet sitter!! Hope to have you care for Bella again soon!! 🐶🐾🦴💕”

About: Hello! I’m Kenzie! I have been an animal lover from the moment I brought home my first puppy as a little girl. I have been taking care of the pets of family and friends ever since high school. I have experience with many animals including dogs, cats, and even chickens! I have taken care of various different dogs breeds, such as, golden retrievers, labradoodles, labs, Australian shepherds, and English bulldogs. I currently work part-time and go to school part time! My work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm. My classes are 100% online which leaves me flexible to take care of your furry friends! When I am taking care of a person’s pet in their home I treat both the home and the pet with great care. I aim to keep and leave the home in the same condition in which you left the home. It takes a lot of trust to not only let a person into your home but also care for your pet. This is at the forefront of my mind when pet sitting in your home.

About: I grew up with small dogs, Pomeranians to be exact. I've always loved dogs, cats, and pets of all kinds. I'm currently a dog father to an older pitbull mix. We recently had to help our senior dog cross the rainbow bridge. We have a fenced in yard and dog door in the summer. Water bowls all around so the pups won't go thirsty. All kinds of toys to keep them entertained. We're available days, nights, weekends, for most of your pet care needs. We try to not kennel the dogs unless absolutely necessary, we try to be home to care for our pets and yours 24/7. But sometimes we need to run short errands. Even if one of us is working there's almost always someone home. I have a fenced yard, 5' tall chain link, I just set up a separate dog run/ meeting area, which can also be used to separate pups if need be. We have a dog door in the nicer months for ease of potty breaks. I make it a point to be outside with the animals to ensure they're not alone and no scruffs break out. I also am able to take them on leashed walks if needed. We have experience giving medication as well.

20. Charles & Alyssa B.
“Charles "Chase" has been a devoted pet parent and caregiver for as long as I have known him. He cares for the health safety and wellbeing of not only his pets but every pet he has had the opportunity to know. Having done a few years of pet sitting myself it is easy to recognize when someone truly cares for the safety of everyone, people and pets. I have seen him take care of his parents dogs, friends dogs, and even pull off the side of the road to help catch strays. He believes all pets deserve love and should not have to suffer the stress of being alone. He will love your pet like his own.”
