“Vicki did an amazing job with our dog. He was so happy the minute he saw her. Followed all our directions and we loved the pictures. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will request her again in the future.”

About: HI, my name is Lenore, - My love for animals began when I was very young... - A few years ago, my Sheltie, Spencer... at 10 wk old, was already highly intelligent, and so full of love. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Such fun. - a few other animals I've cared for; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, fish, eels, a chinchilla, pet snakes....but said no to a tarantula! Just can't do that one!! - thank you ahead of time for your consideration, you will NOT regret putting your trust in me. - Calm, and easy going are my characteristics, as i have plenty of time, and a big heart, to devote to caring for your companion, friend and family member!! Also being a loving & giving person, my priority would be, to fully enjoy caring for your dog, or pet... fulfilling a desire in me to again have a dog in the house, to care for, to spend time with, talk to, & treat 'royally' (spoil) :)) enjoying every second of the blessing. I will take only one dog at a time unless you have two, who know each other, and get along. That way, I can & will devote lots of extra TLC for your best friend...and will definitely treat them as if they were my own, with utmost of value and importance, how they deserve! Thank You lenore My availability for Your Dearest Companion is 24/7. They will have my undevided loving attention. I truly care and will treat them as my own! My home and care provided by myself, will always be a safe and stress-free environment, to help Your Honeys feel 100% comfortable! 🌟💞 My Promise

“Megan was amazing!! She did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of our 3 cats. She's an outstanding communicator and we love the updates while we travel. We will definitely book her again for our next trip!!”

“I’m so glad I can enjoy time away knowing Kiana is taking good care of our fur fam. I love seeing the updates and attention to detail. I’d recommend Kiana to anyone who is looking.”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was a teenager. My family owned and operated an Australian Sheperd breeding business for about 10 years in which I was an integral part. My duties included letting dogs out for potty breaks/playing, feeding, puppy corral cleanup, puppy quality time, helping to give vaccinations, medications, and bathing. Once our breeding dogs were older my parents decided to dissolve the business and I found work at a horse farm. I worked at the horse farm for approximately 4 years. The family I worked for relied on me to care for about 30 horses, 5 dogs, 2 cats, some sheep and several chickens. I fed them, gave them fresh water, bathed animals, cleaned out animal stalls and refreshed their bedding, gave medications and followed specific dietary guidelines for specific animals. Once I graduated from college, I started a job in the healthcare field, and I had three dogs and two cats of my own. In my free time I would provide dog care, dog walks and doggy sitting for people in need. Caring for animals is so rewarding and I can't wait to help others again! I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have a very flexible schedule and ample time to provide the care and attention your pets need. I am available anytime just let me know your needs. I have a large fenced in yard for lots of fetch and frisbee sessions, and an adventurous playmate should they want one. I also have a large kennel to put my dog or your dog away for a rest if need be. We really treat animals like our family and would have them out and about hanging with us in the house.

I’m also completely free all summer long, giving me plenty of time for daytime visits, longer stays, and more flexible scheduling. Weekday Routine (During the School Year) • Early evening drop‑ins or walks after 3:45 PM • Dinner‑time visits, playtime, and routine check‑ins • Evening house sitting or overnight stays • Consistent communication throughout the evening with updates and photos Weekend Routine • Fully open availability for:• Morning, afternoon, and evening visits • Longer stays or house sitting • Extended walks, enrichment, or extra playtime Summer Schedule • Wide‑open daytime availability for all services • Perfect for pets who need midday walks, regular check‑ins, or full‑day companionship • Flexible scheduling for multi‑day house sitting or vacation coverage When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is to maintain their normal routine and create a calm, comfortable environment where they feel safe. “Lauren did a great job taking care of our cats while we were gone! One of them had a little cold and was on medicine and she’s looking great! She was fantastic with communication and we loved all the videos and photos of the kitties we got. I definitely recommend Lauren!”

About: Though I primarily grew up with cats, I’ve always loved dogs and worked through a dog walking company a few years ago (the only reason I stopped was due to my vehicle being totaled after hitting black ice on the highway). I loved getting to know the personalities and tricks for each dog to keep them happy on walks and visits. For the last four years I’ve been working as a massage therapist and I often miss getting to interact with animals on a daily basis (aside from the ones at home that is). I understand the need for a caring and competent person to interact with and meet the needs of your furry loved one when your at work (or on vacation, etc.) and I am the person to show them that love and compassion. Im currently working part time at the end of the week so I have a good amount of time to take care of your fur baby. Though I'm not able to currently house or take care of pets at this moment, I have my two kitties at home that receive lots of love and attention.
“Eden is so kind and very easy to work with. Traveling was a lot easier knowing my girls were in good hands and getting lots of love, attention, and care. He sent lots of pictures and notes so I had peace of mind. I highly recommend Eden!”

“Emily was incredibly kind and went above and beyond in taking care of our cat while we were away. Our cat is very skittish and has anxiety but absolutely loved her!!! Emily sent us videos and photos every single day and took the best care. I would definitely highly recommend her. She is very clearly a pet lover, has years of experience, and I don't think you'll ever find a better caregiver out there!!”

About: I’ve taken care of many different fury friends since. I was a kid. I have a dog of my own, but can get enough of quality time with all animals:) I just graduated PA school and have not found a job yet, so I’m looking to make extra money. I have pretty open availability during the week. I love all animals! I respect all homes and make sure to leave everything better than I found it! Love any tips to give your animal the best experience possible

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
