About: I've taken care of my dog and family and friends dogs for many years. I even volunteered in an animal shelter for awhile as well! I currently run a small handmade business from my space. I do work a part-time service job a couple days of the week in a restaurant right now as well. Aside from dog sitting that's what I do financially. I spend a lot of time outdoors with my own dog, we like to run, play fetch, chase squirrels, and spend time treat training. I make sure a walk and quality time are prioritys with animals. I do not take dogs into my living space as I live with friends currently and on the road at times, so I prefer to go to your home and location. I'm very flexible! :)
“Justice was so great with our drop in visits with our cat while we were away on vacation. She sent videos and photos everyday as well as kept me updated on how my cat was doing each day/visit. It was such a relief to know our cat was being well taken care of while we were gone. Thanks Justice!!”

About: I've been caring for friends' and family's pets since high school, and I truly love every kind of animal. Whether it's a tiny pup or a giant breed, I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and care. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from playful puppies who need to burn off energy to seniors who need a slower pace and extra patience. Pets aren't just animals to me. They're family, and I treat them like my own. I'm back and taking new clients! I work part-time and remotely, so my schedule is flexible for dog walks and drop-in visits during mornings, afternoons, and weekends. Whether you need a regular midday walk or a few check-ins while you're out, I can be consistent and reliable so your pet's routine stays on track. All my visits happen at your home, so your pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I follow your instructions exactly, from feeding schedules and medications to potty breaks and walking routes. I always double-check that doors and gates are locked before I leave, and I'll send photo updates after every visit so you know your pet is safe and happy. On walks, I keep dogs securely leashed and stay alert around other dogs, traffic, and wildlife.
About: I absolutely love caring for animals! If you have pets other than cats or dogs, please let me know if they need any additional care. I grew up caring for birds, lizards, turtles, fish, and dogs, and I have also cared for bunnies and guinea pigs for friends while they were on vacation. I have plenty of experience dog sitting, letting pets out, playing with them, and taking dogs on walks. I’m comfortable caring for most animals (with the exception of spiders and snakes), and I’m happy to work with you to understand exactly what your pet needs. If you have a very energetic dog, I love going on long hikes during the summer and would be happy to bring your dog along for an adventure at a park. Please let me know how your dog does around other dogs so I can make sure they have a safe and enjoyable experience. If your dog simply needs someone to let them out, play with them, or give them some extra attention while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! I’m also happy to stop in and feed, check on, or play with other pets in your home. I’m very passionate about animals and love being able to help people by making sure their pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re away! I work full-time in Holland, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. My schedule is fairly flexible when I have advance notice, and I’m happy to work with you to accommodate your pet’s routine. For stays or visits arranged ahead of time, I can provide dog walks and pet care before work in the morning and after work in the evening. I’m also happy to discuss additional visits or care needs depending on the schedule and length of the booking. I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens and other birds, goats, horses, sheep, rabbits, reptiles, fish, and more. Whether your pets have a simple routine or need a little extra attention, I’m happy to follow their normal care schedule and make sure they’re well looked after while you’re away. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual routine, needs, and personality. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where I can keep them comfortable and maintain their normal schedule while their owners are away. I can provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, companionship, medication if needed, litter or cage cleaning, and general care based on your instructions. I’m also comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens and other birds, goats, horses, sheep, rabbits, reptiles, and fish. I understand that every animal is different, so I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and take the time to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. With advance notice, I can often accommodate schedules that require visits before and after my normal work hours.
About: I’ve taken care of animals as long as I can remember, from cats and their kittens, to hamsters and Guinea pigs, squirrels, mice and of course dogs. I’ve had a few cats of my own and currently have an almost 9 year old pitbull and 10 year old cat. I also have experience with deaf animals (I had a beautiful deaf American bulldog Staffordshire terrier mix) and am very comfortable giving medications/shots. My dog is also reactive so I’m very familiar handling those kinds of situations. I’ve always thrived around animals and thoroughly enjoy taking care of and loving on as many as I can. I’m open to anything, walks, drop ins, and overnights in your home. If your pets are happy so am I! I’m currently working part time, so I have a very flexible schedule and I’m hoping to get as many hours with animals as I can get! I am only looking to go to others homes, my home is not big enough for a large crowd of animals unfortunately. I am more than happy to drive to/stay at others homes to take care of their fur babies. I treat every animal like they are my own and follow owners guidelines very closely
About: I can work with dogs that have anxiety and aggressive. And cats too and any other animals. As I love animals of any size big or small Saturday-Sunday I can do anytime Monday-Friday after 2:30pm unless I'm staying in the house sitting and petsitting. Then time doesn't really matter as much then. Environment would be your home as I rent and they don't allow petsitting. Depends if yard is fence area if it is then I will play ball with them.
“Kevin took excellent care of our furbabies while we were on vacation! Punctual, communicative, and shared photos and details of his visits that helped us feel confident that our girls were in good hands. Will use Kevin for pet care services in the future.”
“April did a wonderful job watching our 2 cats. Our home was left exactly as we left it and my cats were both very happy. She also sent several photos after each daily check-in, which was a wonderful addition to the visits.”

About: I’ve taken care of friends dogs since I was 14 years old. I have a Doberman now and went through all levels of dog training courses I just graduated from GVSU and I’m planning to travel end of August. I just want a part time job doing something I love until then. I will be respectful of your house and take care of your pet exactly how you would like. You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
