I’m also careful about doors, gates, food, household items, and anything else that could potentially be unsafe for your pet. About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: an adult female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are neutered/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

About: I have been a Equine Veterinarian Technician for just over two years now and previously worked 2 years at a small animal clinic. I love getting to meet, care for, and play with all different types of animals. I spend majority of my time outside. I love hiking and going on walks with our dogs. I have multiple years experience working with all different types of animals from farm to house pets. I currently have two box turtles and two pups Duke, a yellow lab retriever and Rocky, a terrier dachshund. I have plenty of time throughout my day and week to spend with your pets. If something is conflicting my availability I will make sure to be upfront and transparent before accepting the job. My number one goal is to do what’s best for your pet. Working at vet clinics you get to know all the tips and tricks to keeping your pet safe. When out on walks I always have a leash on your pet and never let them off.

About: IHinWelcome To our Page, Kenai and I have lots of experience with pets and animals. Dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, etc. I am home most of the week which means I have the time and space to take care of your pets overnight. I have two dogs who are friendly with other dogs and love play dates. Kenai is a Shepsky, Herman Shepherd/Husky mix and is an excellent Rover sitter 😁. We have a wide range of guests, From super shy and timid pups to outgoing high energy and playful ones and we love them all. My dogs do not have crates they are with me through out the day and night. I am familiar with crating but you will need to bring your own pets crate. I have als had a lot of fun with my regular day care clients and have happy customers.

About: I have always loved animals. My favorite thing to do is go on walks because I get to spend time with my best buddies and I get some excercise myself. All dogs have a unique personality and I love getting the opportunity to get to know each dog. I am a pretty active person myself so I am able to power walk or even run to get the dogs energy out! My schedule is pretty flexible but I prefer mornings and afternoons (morning walks are always peaceful and nice). I am willing to travel to trails and other walking areas to give the dog a new adventure and so they do not get bored with the same walking routine. I think even dogs like to change up where they walk every now and then! My current work schedule is already extremely flexible. I am able to work around any pet care visits and walks. I would love to spend the extra time I have caring for animals as they always make days brighter! Currently I am only doing care at the clients home. We just moved and currently do not have a fence set up yet. Our two dogs listen pretty well so we don’t have to worry about them running off, but I don’t want to risk watching anyone else’s fur baby at our home until we have a fence put up! I am willing to care for pets at the clients home and can promise I won’t make a mess and will clean up after myself and the pet!

About: **Beginning 9/22/26 we will be taking a few months hiatus as we welcome our first baby! If you are one of our routine clients, feel free to message us anyway as we may be ready to take dogs sooner - you never know 😊** I moved away from the New England area during the pandemic and came to the Midwest where I didn’t know anyone. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. Thankfully, Rover and other apps helped, especially when I was able to travel again. I'm looking to help out in the same way this app and others helped me. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly, two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, we have a loft area, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend

About: I’ve taken care of friends dogs since I was 14 years old. I have a Doberman now and went through all levels of dog training courses I just graduated from GVSU and I’m planning to travel end of August. I just want a part time job doing something I love until then. I will be respectful of your house and take care of your pet exactly how you would like.
