About: Hi! I’m Lindamaria — an experienced, reliable pet caregiver with over 15 years of hands-on animal care. I specialize in providing calm, attentive care that helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and at ease while their owners are away. I take a personalized approach with every pet, whether that means a gentle routine for seniors, patience for anxious or shy dogs, or structured walks and play for higher-energy pups. I pay close attention to routines, body language, and individual needs so pets feel secure and cared for. I’m currently accepting a limited number of bookings so I can provide focused, consistent care and dependable communication for every pet. I’m great with: -Puppy care & basic training reinforcement -Senior dogs & slower routines -Medication administration (pills, injections, special diets) -Anxious or shy dogs -High-energy dogs who need structure and exercise -Multiple-pet households What you can expect I provide a calm, steady presence and follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, crate time, and play. I believe consistency is key to helping pets feel relaxed and confident. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. Your pet will be treated with patience, kindness, and genuine care — just like one of my own. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I start and end my days taking care of animals — feeding, walking, playing, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I naturally build my schedule around the pets I’m caring for so they get consistency and comfort all day long. I’ve always believed pets aren’t “just animals” — they’re family. I care for every pet the same way I’d want someone to care for mine: with patience, gentleness, and total attention to their well-being. Whether I’m in your home or they’re with me, your pet will be loved, safe, and treated like one of my own.
“My pup looked happier than she has looked in a very long time! Brittany and her family took Echo in like she was family and that made my heart so happy! Even got her to eat when she was boycotting her food! So grateful I have found her- won’t go anywhere else!”

“Michelle was an awesome caregiver for our boxer! Bonnie loved her time with Michelle, and we knew Bonnie was in the best hands possible while we were away from home....Thank you, Michelle!”
“I am very happy to have found Stephanie! She watched Goldie for 5 days while we traveled out of state. She was very flexible with drop off and pickup times. She sent pics and kept us updated. I’m sure Goldie got all the attention she wanted! I have already booked the next service! I trust Stephanie and would recommend her.”

“Katherine was great with our pup Sunny. She came home tired and worn out. I got pictures and updates regularly and she was quick to respond. Easy to communicate with about drop off and pick up! Would recommend!”

About: I have a lifelong love for animals and currently have both a dog and a kitten of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets! I work in healthcare, which has made me very responsible, attentive, and detail oriented. I have experience administering medications and following specific care instructions, and I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. My goal is always to provide a safe, loving environment while keeping you updated for peace of mind :) Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I already care for my own dog and kitten every day. I’m used to maintaining feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need to feel comfortable and happy. Because I work in healthcare, I’m very organized and plan my schedule carefully, which allows me to reliably commit to the pets I’m caring for. I make sure to dedicate quality time for visits, walks, and check-ins so pets aren’t rushed and receive my full attention. Whether it’s daily drop-ins, walks, or overnight care, I prioritize consistency, safety, and making sure each pet’s routine is followed as closely as possible. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can keep their environment as consistent and stress free as possible. This includes feeding schedules, fresh water, walks or litter care, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely while giving pets companionship and reassurance while their family is away. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with supervision and structured routines so pets feel secure. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is always to treat every pet like family and give them the same love and care I give my own!
“I have been using Rover for the past ten years. From walks and drop in visits to vacations and play dates, connecting to sitters through Rover has been an integral part in raising these boys. In all my years with this app I have never met a more attentive, communicative and reliable person than Taylor. Taylor put me at such ease with her thorough updates and ability to administer medication to my sick dog with ease. I can’t recommend her enough, she is exceptional, and goes above-above-above and beyond.”

“Brenda was absolutely amazing. Our dog, Lana, tends to be somewhat timid when dealing with other dogs, especially high energy dogs, but she took to Brenda’s dogs immediately and was instantly comfortable in her home. Their backyard is fenced in and partly wooded and Lana spent a ton of energy running and exploring, we know this because Brenda sent us photo updates every day we were gone. We will not hesitate to contact her first the next time we leave town.”
“Dan and Vickie took such good care of Coco. I believe they are the best sitters I have ever used. Good communication and lots of pictures. I will definitely use them again and would recommend this couple to whoever is looking for a exceptional dog sitter”

About: I love taking care of and playing with dogs as I have had 5 throughout my life! I am recommended by my friends to others. I am currently a student at GVSU and I work at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids on the weekends. I am available to dog/cat sit Monday-Thursdays. Right now I live in an on campus apartment at GVSU and live 2 minutes away from a huge dog park. During the summer, I will be at home with a fenced in backyard in a very safe environment. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat at home. When I move out, I will be living in an apartment that is pet friendly with a dog park!
“Teri was very nice and treated my dog as if she was her own. I felt very comfortable meeting her in person and I could tell my dog enjoyed her stay with her. Would definitely book with her again.”

About: I have taken care of animas my whole life. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. Comfortable giving medications if they are needed. I am home all day Thursday through Sunday. The days that I do work, there is still time set aside for each pet after I arrive home. During the warmer weather, we typically spend lots of time outside. I have a fenced in yard. I do own 3 medium-large sized dogs that are great with other dogs. I do also have a cat and a toddler. I make sure that the toddler is never left alone with the animals. If I am doing drop by visits for pets, your home will be treated with respect and your pet will be taken care of appropriately.
About: I have owned dogs for over 15 years. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up around large German Shepherds, a Doberman and too many cats to count. Today I have much smaller dogs. Mr. Miygai is around 19lbs and looks like a terrier mix but is part Chi and part Mini Poodle. Zoe is all stumpy tail Cattle dog mix and about 30lbs. Both love other dogs and get along great with them. Mr does prefer smaller dogs. Over the years I have owned 2 Dachshunds and a Sheltie Mix who was deaf. My Doxies lived to be 15 years old and one survived back surgery. I have experience taking care of young and old dogs. I am very comfortable with providing medication as well. I would love to take care of your dogs and treat them like they are my own. Currently taking a break from the corporate world. Have a lot of time to help others. Available most days of the week including weekends to take care of animals. I have a fenced yard and 2 of my own dogs. They have free roam of the house and yard. Dogs are treated as family.
“Reyna and her family were great with our two dogs. They accommodated us last minute and made sure to give us updates and photos daily. Our dogs were so happy staying there and they were very well taken care of. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a caring, loving, and safe environment for their pets while out of town.”

“We have dogs with some specific needs / requests and Maddie was able to accommodate those and take great care of our girls. She seemed very qualified and in tune with their behavior. Our dogs are prone to UTI’s and she noticed an issue during the stay, and was very communicative and helpful in getting our dog the care she needed. Would recommend Maddie :)”

“Would absolutely leave our guy with Kathy again! Really communicative, flexible with our schedule, sent great photos and we felt that Cocoa was having lots of fun with Kathy and her daughter. Thanks Kathy!”

“Carlie are her family made Reggie a part of their family while I was away for the week! They were so loving and attentive to my sweet boy. They made it such a fun week for Reggie!”

Tater tot had a fabulous time with Rebekah and her dog Sammie. They got to play together all weekend while I was out of town. Pick up and drop off was quick and easy. Rebekah took very good care of tater and I will be reaching out again the next time I need a sitter. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
