About: Hi, I’m Jessica! I was born and raised in Montague, MI and love everything about it. I have four crazy dogs, four wonderful cats, two guinea pigs, and a 7 year old son. I have 10 years of animal experience, working at two Muskegon County animal shelters and as a vet assistant. I am licensed and insured through my personal business, Muskegon's Poopin Scoopin LLC. With my knowledge, experience, and above all passion; I guarantee the best service possible. I'm currently working part time during the week, so I have extra time to love on your furry friend! I do most of my pet sitting without my son but if you have a pet that loves children, my son would love to join. Your home is my home and I will take care of your home as so. In my home, your pet can have free access to outside with the doggy door. All cats are kept separate from the dogs. All dogs are fed separately. Detailed lists of your pets routine are helpful to ensure each pet is cared for to your expectations.
“Katherine was great with our pup Sunny. She came home tired and worn out. I got pictures and updates regularly and she was quick to respond. Easy to communicate with about drop off and pick up! Would recommend!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Katherine was amazingly patient when answering all my questions about what we should expect. Unfortunately during the stay, one of our dogs had a difficult time adjusting, but Katherine did everything she could to ease her anxiety and make her comfortable. By the end of the weekend, there was quite a bit of improvement for Jessie. They sent pics of them and the dogs having fun which I thoroughly enjoyed.”

“I was so happy I chose her for my puppies caretaker. She said he didn’t have any accidents while in her care (still potty training). He was happy for sure and snored on the way home. Rebecca was very nice and funny and seemed to love my pup as well as her husband”

“Breslin had a wonderful time with Christina and Micheal! They provided consistent updates throughout the stay with pictures and videos of our little guy having fun. They treated Breslin like one of their own and we truly appreciate that. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter! Thanks again!”

“I am very happy to have found Stephanie! She watched Goldie for 5 days while we traveled out of state. She was very flexible with drop off and pickup times. She sent pics and kept us updated. I’m sure Goldie got all the attention she wanted! I have already booked the next service! I trust Stephanie and would recommend her.”

“We were traveling to the area for a family vacation and needed someone to watch our puppy. Frances was so helpful with the booking process and then gave daily updates during the stay! We wish we lived closer to them to have him stay more often! Would book again!”

“I can’t say enough about Melissa. She’s totally amazing. My 8 month old Frenchie had a blast during his stay and Melissa kept me updated with pictures on how things were going. Melissa is amazing and will definitely pick her again !!!”

“We were SO pleased with how Erin and Brian took care of Willow! Even with little quirks that Willow had, they were willing to adjust to make her comfortable. We would highly recommend them to watch your fur babies.”

“We are so glad we found Felix! He took such great care of Kylo! This is the first time we've left him with someone other than family or friends, so we were a bit nervous. Plus we we're gone for 10 days! We picked up Kylo this morning and he couldn't be happier! Honestly, I think he might miss Felix!”

“Dan and his gf were fantastic with our dog. Sent us pictures throughout the weekend. Both of our dogs got along very well. Will use him again and recommend for anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Chad and his kids (and Lucy, his doodle) took great care of our Poppy! He was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Poppy seemed very comfortable there and we will send her there again!”
“Brittany was AMAZING! Sent me so many check in photos, my dogs looked like they were having a blast. They didn’t want to leave when we came to pick them up 😅. Highly recommend her.”

“Samuel did a fantastic job taking care of our dachshund! We got videos and photos of his dog playing with ours and it was clear they loved hanging out together! Samuel paid attention to all of the details and we will definitely be booking with him again in the future!”

“Jenn was the most amazing sitter for our puppy! She is very responsive and great at sending photos and updates. You can tell that her and her family truly valued having our dog stay with them, even with him being a 4 month old puppy that does all the puppy things. We felt comfortable having him there and he came home exhausted after a fun weekend for him. I would absolutely recommend Jenn!”

“We had a very pleasant experience with Brenda! She was incredibly sweet and accommodating, as well as very flexible with us. I could not recommend her more glowingly!”
“I would definitely recommend Melvin and Sean! This was our first time leaving our baby Charlie. As someone who deals with anxiety it wasn't an easy thing for me to do. However they made me feel completely at ease and assured me that he was safe and well taken care of. The photo updates they sent throughout the stay helped so much and truly gave me peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care they provided! We will definitely use them again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fruitport
We used Ben for the first time and it was a wonderful experience for my 2 dogs. Ben sent some videos and was very engaged with the dogs the entire time ~ he took them for walks and Ben even taught Barry some better manners when on and off leash. Going forward, I will continue to use Ben for all my boarding needs. I recommend Ben to anyone looking for a safe, fun space for their dogs. "Thanks, Ben! We had a great time!" From Barry and Coco

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
