About: Hi, I’m Erika! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I bring that lifetime of comfort and familiarity into caring for your fur baby. Currently, my days are filled with pet care. I am a proud cat parent, so I am completely in tune with feline body language, routines, and the exact spot they like to be scratched. I also care for my neighbor’s dog on a part time basis. This means lots of walks (I love trails!), dog parks, playtime and providing companionship! Because pet care is a natural part of my everyday life, you can head out the door with total peace of mind knowing your pet will receive reliable, attentive, and tailored care that keeps their usual routine perfectly on track. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have a very flexible schedule and would love to walk/care for your doggo! It helps me get my steps in along with getting your dogs energy out! Whether caring for your fur baby in your home, walking them, or doing a drop in, my top priority is maintaining their absolute comfort and security. I strictly follow the routine you’ve established by keeping feeding, medication, and walk times exactly as they are used to so their stress is minimized while you're away. I treat your home with the highest level of respect, ensuring it stays clean, quiet, and secure. You can also count on regular updates and photos after our visits so you always have total peace of mind knowing your pet and your home are in safe, responsible hands
About: I’ve taken care of many different fury friends since I was a kid. I have currently have a dog of my own, but enjoy quality time with all animals:) I just graduated PA school and have not found a job yet, so I’m looking to make extra money. I have pretty open availability during the week. I love all animals! I respect all homes and make sure to leave everything better than I found it! I appreciate any tips/tricks to give your animal the best experience possible.
“Heather was excellent and took care of our dog and cats while we were out of state for 10 days. She set up a meet and greet with us before hand and then stopped over to meet the pets and learn how to take care of them. She was great at communicating and sent us updates and photos each visit. We will absolutely contact Heather again when we need a pet sitter. Thank you Heather!”

About: I moved away from the New England area during the pandemic and came to the Midwest where I didn’t know anyone. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. Thankfully, Rover and other apps helped, especially when I was able to travel again. I'm looking to help out in the same way this app and others helped me. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly (can't seem to figure out how to add her name but she'll also be helping with sitting), two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard, a dog specific area over the garage and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, they have the loft, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend
About: HI, my name is Lenore, - My love for animals began when I was very young... - A few years ago, my Sheltie, Spencer... at 10 wk old, was already highly intelligent, and so full of love. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Such fun. - a few other animals I've cared for; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, fish, eels, a chinchilla, pet snakes....but said no to a tarantula! Just can't do that one!! - thank you ahead of time for your consideration, you will NOT regret putting your trust in me. - Calm, and easy going are my characteristics, as i have plenty of time, and a big heart, to devote to caring for your companion, friend and family member!! Also being a loving & giving person, my priority would be, to fully enjoy caring for your dog, or pet... fulfilling a desire in me to again have a dog in the house, to care for, to spend time with, talk to, & treat 'royally' (spoil) :)) enjoying every second of the blessing. I will take only one dog at a time unless you have two, who know each other, and get along. That way, I can & will devote lots of extra TLC for your best friend...and will definitely treat them as if they were my own, with utmost of value and importance, how they deserve! Thank You lenore My availability for Your Dearest Companion is 24/7. They will have my undevided loving attention. I truly care and will treat them as my own! My home and care provided by myself, will always be a safe and stress-free environment, to help Your Honeys feel 100% comfortable! 🌟💞 My Promise
“Vicki did an amazing job with our dog. He was so happy the minute he saw her. Followed all our directions and we loved the pictures. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will request her again in the future.”

About: Is your dog: - High Energy? - Destructive During the Day? - A Little Chonky? Let me help you come home to a happy, tired, fit pup! As an avid runner, I'd love to take your pooch for a long run, chill stroll or anything in between! I'm also willing to do some light housekeeping during drop-in visits. For 11 years I worked at a pet specialty store educating customers about the best ways to care for their pets - dogs, cats, birds, fish, geckos/bearded dragons and small animals. During that time I also worked briefly as a dog trainer. I have dogs and cats of my own, and previously kept freshwater fish, an axolotle, Syrian hamsters, anoles, chinchillas and a tree frog. I currently have some early morning availability (6-7) and evening/night availability (after 4:00) during the week. Saturday and Sunday I am generally open and have more availability. Pet safety is my top priority. I always make sure doors and/or gates are secure and that dogs have their collar on when going outside.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
