MacKenzie met Hazel 2 times before we left for our trip. Our trip was from May 15th to May 20th 2026. Hazel was very sweet to her and MacKenzie was the same to Hazel. We left for our trip with many hopes and felt that Hazel would be getting the best care. I didn't know when MacKenzie arrived to the house or if she stopped by before work as I asked her to let Hazel out. Communication is a very weak point of service with this sitter as I have learned and that saddened me as this was the first time using this app. I got 1 picture and about a 3 worded caption per day. I let her know we were on our way home and she was ready to clean and leave instantly before contract was up.

Mackenzie did a great job caring for my dog! She communicated well with me and handled my dog’s post procedure meds.

We were in a pinch and She helped us on! Super grateful.

I'm really struggling with how to leave this review. We met with Mackenzie twice before leaving our dogs with her and everything seemed to go really well. Our dogs were very comfortable with her which made us extremely comfortable with leaving them in her care. She sent daily picture updates and let us know that everything was going well. However once we returned home, we were left really confused. Very clearly one of our pets had been extremely sick at some point. This was never mentioned to us in our daily updates and the only reason we know is because of the state in which our home was left. I reached out to Mackenzie to see what happened and was told that she was very sorry, that a dog had been sick and she thought she cleaned this up. When I asked for more information, I didn't get a reply. We had to wash all our bedding, bedframe, dog beds, window curtains, walls, baseboards, dresser, flooring (that is now lifting because the mess was left clearly for days) and throw out our area rug. Obviously a pet being sick is out of someone's control but not cleaning properly causing house damage or being informed of this so we could do something or contact anyone to help is what we are upset about. It's very unfortunate because Mackenzie did seem like a very sweet girl and I can understand overwhelming dealing with a sick pet can be but this situation should have been handled much differently.
