I currently work from home and have occasional evenings and weekends when my children are with their dad. My work schedule is pretty flexible, and I am able to step away for walks and drop-ins.

I will follow whatever rules/instructions that are left to care for your dog. If walking your dog, I wear a headlamp if it’s dark/visibility is bad, and follow all traffic laws.

I am the kind of pet parent that leaves VERY detailed notes for my dogs' care provider, so I absolutely appreciate as much information as you can/would like to give me ahead of time. What are your expectations each visit? Food and treat whereabouts/quantities? Where can I find the poop scoop? What's your dogs' favorite toy? When he's having a staring contest with the top left cupboard by the backdoor, what does that mean? Ya know, stuff like that. :)

Obviously depending on factors like age, agility, weather, etc., I will be sure to provide your pet with an appropriate level of physical and mental stimulation each visit -- whether that's playing with their favorite toy, chasing them around the yard, giving a plethora of belly rubs and scratches, and chatting with them the entire visit (because who doesn't have full blown, one-sided conversations with dogs?!) ;)

I’ve been taking care of my own dogs as well as dogs belonging to family and friends since 2005 — from chihuahuas to german shepherds to great danes, one eye or two, three legs or four, docile and aggressive, and those requiring insulin shots, medication, and/or special diets. I treat all dogs like they’re family, whether it be mine or yours. I know how important it is that dogs stick to routines and the familiar, so I will absolutely follow whatever instructions you leave me and keep you updated.
