About: Volunteered and then worked full-time at an animal shelter, fell in love with our fluffy friends, and can't wait to make more! I was a long-time volunteer (2+ years) at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter. Then I transitioned into a full-time position there as an animal technician and learned so much about general animal care, medication procedures, and sanitation requirements to meet state health codes. I truly miss being able to visit with new animals every day and look forward to bringing the bark (and meow) back into my life! I'm a student, which means class times are often at odd hours, leaving many mornings open to check in on pets, keep them company, or get in some doggy exercise! I am also available almost all Fridays-Sundays, making me the perfect option for pet sitting during your weekend plans. See below for more detailed availability (updated for Sept-Dec)! This was our first time having a pet sitter. Beth was professional, reliable, and wonderful with our 3 cats. One of our cats is 16 years old, partially crippled, and needed meds. Grace has been wonderful with both our cat and dog! She has been incredibly patient with our anxious and reactive dog, giving him plenty of space and time to warm up to her.
