About: Volunteered and then worked full-time at an animal shelter, fell in love with our fluffy friends, and can't wait to make more! I was a long-time volunteer (2+ years) at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter. Then I transitioned into a full-time position there as an animal technician and learned so much about general animal care, medication procedures, and sanitation requirements to meet state health codes. I truly miss being able to visit with new animals every day and look forward to bringing the bark (and meow) back into my life! I'm a student, which means class times are often at odd hours, leaving many mornings open to check in on pets, keep them company, or get in some doggy exercise! About: I’ve had multiple dogs my whole life, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I truly enjoy making sure they feel loved, safe, and happy. Beyond my personal experience, I’ve also worked in the healthcare field for a couple of years while in school, which has given me a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and attentiveness. About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13.
