About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. I let my dogs on the couches and beds and they have free reign of the house
“Just had Ariel watch our kitties for the second time… she is so great with them, I love the updates with pictures!!!! I feel so at peace knowing she is coming to see them and take care of their needs. I recommend her to everyone!”

“Kaitlyn was professional and prompt while checking in on my cats while I was away. She sent a brief update on how they were doing and pictures which was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend!”

“Laura was an exceptional care taker of our older cat while we were away. She kept us updated regularly, sent the sweetest photos, and even checked on our property after we lost power during a storm. Knowing everything was taken care of gave us so much peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful for her care and kindness.”

About: Welcome to a home where your dog will be treated like family 🤍 I offer loving, reliable in-home boarding and doggy daycare in a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. With years of hands-on experience caring for animals—both my own and others—you can feel confident that your pet is in attentive, capable hands. My home is full of warmth and love! I have a sweet seven-year-old pug who absolutely adores other dogs, and a friendly five-year-old cat who gets along with everyone. Because I work from home, your dog will continue to receive constant care, supervision, and companionship. Your dog will enjoy: • A large, secure backyard for sunshine, fresh air, and exercise • Daily walks tailored to their energy level • Optional trips to the dog park (if your pup enjoys social outings) • Plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention throughout the day I do my best to match your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. Whether your pup prefers to snuggle up in bed with me or feels more secure in their crate at night, I am happy to accommodate their needs. I truly believe pets are family, and I will care for yours with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I look forward to welcoming your dog into our home! 🐾 Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I work from home, allowing me to give your fur baby consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. From morning walks and outdoor time in my yard to playtime, feeding, and plenty of cuddles, your pup will be well cared for all day & night. Your pet can expect reliable, love, comfort, and companionship while they’re with me. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. With years of hands-on experience caring for animals, along with training I’ve completed with my own pets, I’m confident in providing attentive, responsible, and knowledgeable care. My home is a safe and secure environment, featuring a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy outdoor time while staying protected. I also have a home security system and live in a safe, close-knit neighborhood where I know my neighbors, adding an extra layer of peace of mind. Because I work from home, your dog will have near-constant supervision throughout the day. I’m also experienced in administering medications to a variety of animals and am comfortable following any specific care instructions your pet may need. You can trust that your dog will be cared for with the same level of attention, safety, and love as my own.
About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. At your house, I am happy to follow all rules set in place.
“Holly was absolutely amazing! She gave our senior pup so much love and attention and provided us with reassuring details and pictures! We hope to use her again in the future! She is very professional and we are so glad we met her!”

“Tyler came in clutch with a prompt response when I had last-minute work plans pop up, and he handled my short notice instructions with ease. His level of care and communication is unmatched. I highly recommend Tyler to anyone seeking top notch care and peace of mind!”

About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8:30-4:30 PM, M-F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. I will give the same care for your puppy any time I am around it!
“Our German Shepherd loves Kelsey! Anytime I’m out of town for work she lets him out for potty and play. I love getting photos and she is always responsive and on time. Thanks Kelsey!”

“Maelee is great! She’s very thorough with her visits. I like her detailed notes and prompt communication. I have felt very comfortable leaving my cat in her care!”

About: I’ve had a deep connection with animals for as long as I can remember. I’m constantly around fur babies and fully commit to their care. I am comfortable around all dogs, big or small, always more than willing to learn how to cater to your specific animal! When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will give my undivided attention and love. I am dedicated and follow instructions extremely well, going above and beyond to complete tasks. I grew up with a Newfoundland so I am no stranger to misjudged breeds! I’m currently self employed with a very flexible weekly schedule, so plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am open to drop ins and house sitting any day of the week, although I would still stop at home daily to nurture my cat Aurora and the ferals I feed. 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup much needed exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation. 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks/litter refresh, feeding, playtime, and of course snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your fur baby so they have company and comfort in their own home, Along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks/litter refresh, meals, playtime, and cuddles.
About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
“Abigail did an excellent job taking care of my two cats over the holidays. She handled the instructions for my elders cat's medicine and particular feeding well. Overall I would trust her in the future to watch them again.”

About: I’ve had lots of experience caring for friends’ pets and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their humans are away. I’ve walked and fed a friend’s Basset Hound, cared for another friend’s cat and bunny, and fed and walked two Golden Retrievers. I’ve also spent time feeding, watching, and keeping another friend’s cat company. I always make it a point to make sure that the house is in the same shape as it was when I arrived. I want you and your mini loved ones to have a stress free time. I'm currently working from home, so I have ample time to care for your pets & home. My schedule is flexible and I'm happy to try my best to work with your normal routine. I’ve cared for or had pets of my own for most of my life, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and quirks. I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, walks, medication or care instructions, and giving pets plenty of attention and companionship. I’m also respectful of people’s homes and would treat your space with the same care I’d want someone to treat mine.
“Alaina did a great job taking care of Bella while I was away. She was friendly, communicated very well, and I would definitely feel confident about rebooking her or recommending her to others.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
