“My pups loved their weeklong stay with Janelle (and Kevin!)! Janelle went above and beyond with my somewhat “special needs” and raw fed dogs (a puppy and a CHF dog with a strict medication administration routine). Despite a week of nasty humid and stormy weather, Janelle managed to get them outside to play when it cleared up, but they were also content snuggling or napping. I was sent daily reports and pictures. My dogs usually take a bit to warm up to strangers, but this was not the case with Janelle- they were immediately comfortable and returned home happy and well fed. This is the second time with her and I won’t trust anyone else to care for them moving forward!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have a soft spot for them. I have a four year old very high energy, playful but docile GSP. I will walk, watch, feed and create a stimulating environment for them! I work from home and have flexibility during the week to help out. I am also open most weekends for dog sitting or boarding . I will make sure pets are handled with love and care and will treat them as if they were my own. This might mean lots of belly rubs, snuggles and treats. About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8:30-4:30 PM, M-F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. Cleaning litter boxes is a daily pattern and I am also have administered meds to the cats and to my parents dogs. I also have a 2-year-old Shih Tzu-Bichon named Jack who is super friendly, playful, and always excited to make a new furry friend! He loves having a buddy around just as much as I do. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve-racking, so my goal is to make both you AND your pup feel completely comfortable. Expect lots of love, attention, playtime, and plenty of photo updates while you’re away! 📸 Your pup won’t just be “watched” — they’ll be treated like part of the family! 🐾 I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pets! My schedule is very open, which means I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, playtime, and lots of extra attention throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get all the love and care they’re used to while you’re away. I live in a townhome-style condo with my super friendly 2-year-old Shih Tzu-Bichon, Jack! While I don’t have a private fenced yard, there is plenty of grassy yard space around my home for potty breaks and outdoor time, plus a dog park within walking distance for pups who enjoy it. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, crate time, medications, or any special instructions. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home.

“My pups loved their weeklong stay with Janelle (and Kevin!)! Janelle went above and beyond with my somewhat “special needs” and raw fed dogs (a puppy and a CHF dog with a strict medication administration routine). Despite a week of nasty humid and stormy weather, Janelle managed to get them outside to play when it cleared up, but they were also content snuggling or napping. I was sent daily reports and pictures. My dogs usually take a bit to warm up to strangers, but this was not the case with Janelle- they were immediately comfortable and returned home happy and well fed. This is the second time with her and I won’t trust anyone else to care for them moving forward!”
