Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!

About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. At your house, I am happy to follow all rules set in place.

About: I have grown up with dogs and have a soft spot for them. I have a four year old very high energy, playful but docile GSP. I will walk, watch, feed and create a stimulating environment for them! I work from home and have flexibility during the week to help out. I am also open most weekends for dog sitting or boarding . “I’ve been having my puppy stay with Daniel and his wife periodically throughout the week for the past month. First and foremost, Daniel is very flexible and understanding of my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! Second, I enjoy the fact that Hugo is able to play with other dogs and interact with their dog parents throughout the day. I think this gives him good interaction and good socialization to help him as he gets older. Finally, Hugo is always so excited to see Daniel in the morning! This makes me feel like Hugo is having fun and is getting good attention while at doggy daycare. It’s very comforting knowing that Hugo has such a good place to spend his days when I’m at work.”
About: We have been with dogs and other animals our whole life and love dogs. Our Shiba Inu, Sami, is our fourth baby. Your pet will get the attention and safety he/she needs and will be treated no different than our own. Our work hours are flexible and we prioritize our walks with our pet so it will be the same as others. Sami gets 2 walks and 3-4 bathroom breaks per day usually at least 1 of them is off leash at a dog park. We are not a dog boarder, your dog will be in a home and will know the difference. We treat your dog with the same care as ours and will follow your instructions as instructed. Typically, bathroom break between 3-4 hours and at least 3 times per day for each dog.

About: I personally have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. My one pup, which recently passed, was a small Shi-Tzu/Chihuahua female, who was spunky and loved to play and cuddle. My current dog who is living back in Michigan is a 5 year old Husky male mix. He is a rescue pup, flown in from Lebanon (the country!) after a vet found him severely wounded in the streets. He loves to run, and is the biggest attention hog now! I also have had 3 cats, 1 currently- a fluffy orange tabby who is an absolute dork but lovable nonetheless. He does not currently live in the apartment with me, so I miss him dearly. It is quite rare for me to meet an animal I don't feel comfortable around! I am currently working part-time and control my hours, so I am extremely flexible with whatever needs your fur babies may need! I do not have any current vacations planned either. I'm always cautious of safety for any animal. I like to get as many details from the owners on what their animal likes/dislikes so that I can create a comfortable environment for them.

As a stay at home mom, I have flexibility to walk, play, and cuddle as needed! I have 3 young kids who are eager to give (an appropriate) amount of love to your fur baby. I’m not super experienced in some of the more niche aspects of pet ownership, but I certainly know how to walk, feed, play with, and pick up after dogs. About: I grew up with cats in my home and dogs at friends' houses. In 2022 I helped raise and train a yellow lab and have walked dogs for 8 years. I'm currently working mornings, getting off at 1 pm. I have the rest of the day to take care of pets by walking, brushing, playing, feeding, or whatever else you'd want. I can work days and weekends, overnight if desired. In the mornings I'd be up between 5 and 6 to walk, feed, and whatever else the pet needed then I'd head to work. Depending on the pet's schedule, I'd immediately head back to walk and feed again. I can be there overnight with the pet or just check in during the day if desired.

“Dan and Kelly were amazing with our two dogs!! This is our first time using Rover and also our first time leaving our pups with someone who wasn’t our family, they are 8 & 9. Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!
