About: Hi! 🐾 I’m Amina — a lifelong dog lover and very proud dog mom :) I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been dog sitting for friends, family, and people I know since I was 16. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing nonstop, lounging on the couch, or getting ALL the cuddles, I’m happy to match their personality and routine. I also have a 2-year-old Shih Tzu-Bichon named Jack who is super friendly, playful, and always excited to make a new furry friend! He loves having a buddy around just as much as I do. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve-racking, so my goal is to make both you AND your pup feel completely comfortable. Expect lots of love, attention, playtime, and plenty of photo updates while you’re away! 📸 Your pup won’t just be “watched” — they’ll be treated like part of the family! 🐾 I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pets! I live in a townhome-style condo with my super friendly 2-year-old Shih Tzu-Bichon, Jack! While I don’t have a private fenced yard, there is plenty of grassy yard space around my home for potty breaks and outdoor time, plus a dog park within walking distance for pups who enjoy it. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, crate time, medications, or any special instructions. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home.

“I’ve been having my puppy stay with Daniel and his wife periodically throughout the week for the past month. First and foremost, Daniel is very flexible and understanding of my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! Second, I enjoy the fact that Hugo is able to play with other dogs and interact with their dog parents throughout the day. I think this gives him good interaction and good socialization to help him as he gets older. Finally, Hugo is always so excited to see Daniel in the morning! I’m away only 10-15 hours per week. I’m very flexible and willing to work with you for the love and benefit of your pet. I live in my new built home. About: Hello! I grew up around many dogs and cats and enjoy their company so much! I have my own cat so I understand how important our pets are to our lives! I am always the first one to volunteer whenever a friend or family member needs someone to look after their fur babies! I will always treat those in my care as my own 💗 Doggy Boarding: I am now opening my home up for dogs to come stay with me while you enjoy your time away! I have always wanted to have dogs stay with me, but I wanted to wait until I had a fence in yard. And now I do! I have a lil Blue home with a lil fenced in yard and a lovely safe neighborhood for your pet to stay! We have plenty of parks nearby for them to enjoy as well. PLEASE NOTE: I have a cat named Pepper!!!! She does not mind dogs as long as they know how to give her some space. The most she will do is swat and a lil hiss is she’s really annoyed. Otherwise, your pet will have a nice relaxing time with me and Pepper! If your pet stays with me, it will be the only animal there during their stay besides Pepper (2 dogs max at the house). Feel free to ask any questions! I currently work 8-5/6pm at an office in Kentwood. I can usually take a lunch and stop by to check on the pets. About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I love being outside and taking the babies for walks. I have a fenced in yard as well as two other dogs and two other cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. About: I have been around animals for most of my life and have over 50 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve owned about nine dogs and currently have an Australian Shepherd and two sugar gliders, so I’m comfortable with both active dogs and animals that need more specialized care. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable, patient, and attentive caring for your pets, and I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. I'm a retired firefighter who went into nursing after that career but retired from that now, too. I really enjoy the company of dogs and they seem to enjoy me, too. My wife is in and out of the house because she still works full time, so you may or may not meet her. However I am the one who's retired and gets to be home with any fur babies 24/7 so you will be working with me directly. I have a fenced in backyard, a friendly Aussie who likes to play and numerous sized cages if your dog prefers that for sleeping or escape. I take a walk everyday (usually to the park two blocks away) and I would be happy to include your dog on my daily walk. If I come to your house , I'd be happy to walk your dog around your neighborhood , play ball or frisbee in the backyard or work on commands .. I have done all of these in the past.

About: I was a dog mom to a white GSD mix for 10 years, and grew up with a variety of 4 legged pets (in all shapes & sizes). Dogs: I am comfortable bathing, trimming nails & fur between paw pads. I'm used to coming up with creative meal solutions, sticking to a feeding schedule, having pups (& cats) with sensitive stomachs. I did agility training with my dog, use hand signs as well as voice commands. I have had to give shots and pills to pets over the years - we had a dog with diabetes; allergy pills for my pup were delivered orally. I'm comfortable taking dogs for hikes, runs, swims, car rides, and walks. I'm comfortable and experienced with other pets as well - cats, bunnies, lizards/geckos, fish, etc. During the summer I work from home Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday's are generally very open. If boarding at the house, I am able to do potty breaks and walks between students. For pets staying in my home = no to pee pads. Early mornings aren't an issue. If you're looking for a long-term arrangement that's great! Short-term/last minute? I hope I can help! I have a large fenced in backyard. 3 out of the 4 yards around me have dogs, one of which keeps them on a leash in addition to the fence. Rooms/areas pets are not allowed in are closed off, but for the most part pets have free range of the house & of the furniture. There is a dog park nearby my house, in addition to the spacious backyard, and a nature preserve close by as well. There are plenty of squirrels to chase in the yard.
