“Ariel is wonderful. She stayed in our home for 7 days/nights with our 2 dogs (Boxer/10 year old & Sheltie/13 year old). She kept us updated daily with text and pictures while we were traveling. She took them for frequent walks, gave them their arthritis medicine and read with them. They were happy to sleep in the guest room with her, and were so glad to see her when she stopped by after our return home to check-in. She left our house in perfect condition, took in the mail and watered the plants. Ariel is 5-STAR!”

“Monica was wonderful with a last minute booking! She made time for a meet and greet, asked thoughtful questions, loved on the fur babies, all of which made me feel very comfortable using her for the first time. During our trip she sent daily updates with photos and cute captions. Upon our return home the garbage was taken out, kitchen was clean, bed was made, pet toys picked up and I even think she vacuumed! She is an excellent pet & house sitter and I'll definitely be using her again! Thanks Monica!”

“Cam was a total lifesaver! I needed a last-minute sitter for my dog, Maverick, because my husband was out of town and I was starting a new job. Cam came over to meet us beforehand and asked all the right questions to make sure Mav was well-cared for. Throughout the stay, I got plenty of updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. Cam took him on great walks, played ball at the park, and gave him all the cuddles he could handle. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Cam again whenever Maverick needs a buddy!”

“Tyler stayed at our house for a week with our puppy. He left everything just as he found it and was very dependable! We loved the daily updates and pictures! Would definitely recommend!”

“Kelsey went above & beyond with my dog, Nalah!! She took her to the dog park, for multiple walks, and sent photo and video updates throughout the day. My dog was smiling ear to ear in each photo- Highly recommend. Will def be using Kelsey again!!”

“This was our first time using Rover and a pet sitter. Lillie was communicative from the very beginning and throughout the week. She provided excellent care for our 17 year old cat and 6 year old sheltie. We came home to happy animals and a house that looked like no one had been in it. Will definitely use her again.”

About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. At your house, I am happy to follow all rules set in place.
“We had an excellent experience with Abigail and would absolutely book again. From the start, communication was clear, proactive, and professional, which made coordinating everything seamless. Our dogs were incredibly well cared for—happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable the entire time we were away. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was obvious our sitter paid close attention to routines, preferences, and small details that make a big difference. Our home was also left in great condition—clean, organized, and exactly as we left it. That level of respect and care doesn’t go unnoticed. Overall, this was a stress-free, reliable experience. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and easy to work with, I highly recommend her.”

“Jessica was so great with our ladies. She was very good at keeping me posted on how everyone was doing with photos and updates! Our house was just as we left it when we arrived back home, and pets seem very happy! Thank you Jessica! We’ll definitely be working with you again.”

About: Ive grown up with dogs and have a dog with me at school! I would love to take care of your furry friend! I promise to take them on lots of walks! Im currently studying for my medical school entrance exam, so I am completely available to hang out with your pet!! I can let them out frequently and take them on walks! I would let them out and give them love and care, just as I do for my own pets! I would love to play with them and walk them as well!
“Katie 🐶 🐾 was amazing! I have a pretty scared pup, and she did everything she could make sure she felt calm and safe the whole time she watched them. She sent updates and made sure I felt involved during her stay. I will be using her again in September for a two week trip, and feel no anxiety about it at all now!”

About: Family, friends and coworkers have relied on me to take care of their pets while they’re on vacation or just a quick weekend getaway. I’ve been watching dogs for many years and love every second of it. I work 4 days a week but I am looking to make some extra cash on the weekends or a nice little walk after work. I love to make sure they feel comfortable whether that’s going for a long walk or playing in the house/backyard. Your dog will be spoiled with me!
“Kelli was able to watch our dog on short notice, which we really appreciated. She did well with our German Shepherd, who can be stand-offish until she gets comfortable, and was patient in helping her adjust. Our dog has more involved care needs than a typical dog due to health conditions, including a specialized feeding routine and daily medications. Kelli was willing to take that on and follow through which gave us peace of mind knowing she was attentive to those details. We also appreciated how she handled an unexpected situation during a power outage. The resulting beeping in the house caused stress for Callie, and Kelli responded quickly by comforting her and reaching out right away for guidance on how to resolve it. However, we found communication to be inconsistent. We typically expect daily updates and photos from our sitters, but during this week-long stay, we only received photos twice and often had to initiate contact ourselves for updates. For pet owners who value proactive communication, this is an important consideration. While Kelli is very capable with complex care, consistent daily check-ins would have greatly improved our experience.”

“We’ve never left our dog with anyone before. She has severe separation anxiety. I was amazed at how she warmed up to Valaria! We were gone for two days and will definitely be calling Valaria again!”

Cascade pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had a great vacation in large part because we knew our pets were in such capable hands. One of our dogs had knee surgery recently and Ariel was careful and took great care of her. Her updates and pictures were appreciated and we would definitely ask her to return in the future.
