“We were extremely nervous about leaving our 5 month old kittens for a week and Laura made it a worry-free experience. She sent us pictures & videos, showed extra love to our cats, and even brought in an Amazon package for us. We couldn't be anymore grateful for Laura! Highly recommend!! Thank you, again, Laura!!”

About: I have had a dog for over 20 years. I'm down for a good tug of war or just sit on the couch. I know having a stranger in the house can be scary and trust must be earned. Every dog is different. I'm retired so my schedule is very open. I like to get outside and walk so this is a perfect fit. Sadly I just lost my dog so I'm ready to share my love with someone else's buddy. I have a fenced in yard. But I'm not planning on taking care of animals in my home. So not sure why I have to fill this out
About: I have had cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters growing up. I also did horseback riding for over 10 years, so I have no problem with large dogs. I've been pet-sitting since I was in about 8th grade, but I've been walking dogs even before then. I worked at a veterinary clinic/boarding center for about a year as well, so I have experience with many different needs of dogs. I've always loved animals, and I love spending time with them. :) I have a greyhound and a cat, but I live in the basement (I have a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living room, along with a door to the outside) so if your animal doesn't get along well with others, that's not a big issue with me. I go to the gym just about every day as well, so if anyone has animals that are very active, I would love to take them for runs with me. Beginning this fall, I'll be attending GRCC and probably working part-time as well. However, Most of my classes are on Tuesday and Thursday this semester, so it's not every day. I live in a very nice neighborhood (right by Cascade Park) and love to walk dogs to/around the park as well as let them play in the dog park if they get along with other dogs okay.
“My second time booking Michelle for my spicy kitty, and he (and I) approve!! She gives him all the love he needs, and is attentive to his detailed feeding instructions! Thanks again!”

About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
“I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Tyler. He pet sat for our three cats over four days, two of whom required medication twice daily. I was a little nervous at first as I understood it was Tyler's first time pilling a cat, but he had no problems and our kids received all of the medication, morning and evening. We received daily updates and pictures during his visits, which made me relax and enjoy our trip that much more. Tyler was very responsive throughout the entire process, from booking to coming home. He left our house extremely clean -- the litter boxes were wiped down, there were no litter tracks across the floors, and no mess from leftover wet food on the floor. He was absolutely fantastic! We will definitely be retaining his services any time we go away, and I highly recommend you do the same. I've never felt so comfortable with a pet sitter before, so thank you, Tyler!!”

“10/10 would recommend. Sahvanah was extremely easy to communicate with and was prompt with attending to my dogs needs while we were out of town. She made sure I was aware of a hot spot on one of my dogs legs which made me feel assured of her attentiveness to my dogs’ well-being while we were away!”

“Kayla helped me out for 6 weeks after I had back surgery. I booked fairly last minute, so I feel really grateful that I found her and she had the time available to help out. I was able to set a sort of unusual schedule and she helped me get the pricing right. Plus, she was so willing to help with anything I needed, and she became good friends with my cat, Effy. I highly recommend Kayla for whatever your needs are!”

About: I’ve had my own dog since I could walk and feel very comfortable around all types of animals. I have also been a pet sitter for awhile now! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of free time for long walks or play time and just the basics your pet needs. I have A miniature bernedoodle myself. I let my dog outside with an electric collar so I am familiar with that. I have a park nearby which I take my dog to to run around and play which is fenced in!
“My kitty decided to be a very challenging and stressful little lady while we were gone. Maelee kept me informed of everything going on and was very patient and adaptive to my cats needs. You did a great job, thanks again!”

About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. At your house, I am happy to follow all rules set in place.
About: I have over eight years of experience caring for pets of all kinds—different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and ages. From energetic puppies to senior pets requiring extra TLC, I’m comfortable adapting to each animal's unique needs. I’m also experienced in administering oral and topical medications safely and confidently. In addition to pet sitting, I worked as a professional dog bather for a year, which gave me hands-on experience handling dogs in high-energy environments. I currently work at The Pack as a dog care specialist, where I support dogs in group play, monitor behavior, and ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day. Whether it's daily walks, cuddle time, or more specialized care, I bring patience, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals to every visit! I work full-time, but my shifts are typically 5–6 hours a day, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide pet care before and/or after work. I’m available for morning, evening, and some midday visits depending on the day. On my days off, I’m fully available for walks, drop-ins, or extended stays. When caring for your pets, I treat their space with the same respect and care as I would my own. I follow all instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication routines, or house rules—to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I prioritize safety at all times by keeping a close eye on pets during walks or playtime, making sure doors and gates are secure, and monitoring for any signs of stress or illness. Building trust with both pets and their people is incredibly important to me, and I take that responsibility seriously. I keep you updated with photos and messages so you always feel reassured and connected while you're away, knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands!
About: I stand apart from the others due to my dedication and adaptable demeanor. I prioritize my weekends to give my clients the best care at an affordable rate. I am available to watch dogs on weekends and even during the holidays ! During the work week hours, I am unavailable until after 18:00. I like to listen to the owner to cater to their pets experience. I believe mom and dad know best. I can provide frequent walks and close attention to the dog or cat’s feeling of safety and security.
Whitneyville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Ariel did a great job watching our two kitties! It was my first time using a service, so I was a little nervous about having someone I didn’t know coming into my home. I worried unnecessarily. Ariel was so good about sending me details about her visit and many pictures of my kitties, which filled me with so much peace…I was able to enjoy my vacation! When I arrived home, I was greeted by two happy cats, and my home was just as I left it. I will 100% be using Ariel’s pet services in the future!
