About: I absolutely love dogs and have always wanted one of my own. However, because my family is allergic, I’ve had to live vicariously through friends. I’m not super experienced in some of the more niche aspects of pet ownership, but I certainly know how to walk, feed, play with, and pick up after dogs. I am currently a university student in the Middletown, CT area. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule (besides when I’m in class). I’m most available on weekends, but can accept the occasional walk on weekdays. I always try my best to cater to your pet’s needs. I have grown up with dogs my entire life. When my 16 year old Puggle crossed the rainbow bridge a couple years back, it was the first time in my life I was without a pet. While I’m not ready to bring another pet into our home full time, I would love the opportunity to love your fur baby just as if they were my own! I have experience with puppies through senior dogs. As a stay at home mom, I have flexibility to walk, play, and cuddle as needed! I have 3 young kids who are eager to give (an appropriate) amount of love to your fur baby. I have a fenced in backyard and gates throughout the house to provide adequate safety while still allowing for plenty of freedom. I am familiar with crates as well if that is something your pet is more comfortable with.
About: I'm Amanda, a yoga instructor/interior designer and a full time animal lover! Growing up, I’ve always had dogs and cats (our family is full of nurturing individuals). I have babysat and taken care of relatives and friends animals throughout the years and have many repeating customers! I know that each animal needs a different type of care considering each one has a special characteristics that defines them. I make sure they use the bathroom or are taken out every two-three hours and walks are a must. I have a mini Australian Shepherd, Ezra, and a cat, Veda. I do this so I don’t end up with ten dogs in my household :) I currently work part time and also kind of make my own schedule, so I will have a ton of time to play with the pups and/or cats. Fed twice a day and let out four times a day to get the energy out! I also follow whatever instructions are given to me for each parents preference. About: I personally have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. My one pup, which recently passed, was a small Shi-Tzu/Chihuahua female, who was spunky and loved to play and cuddle. My current dog who is living back in Michigan is a 5 year old Husky male mix. He is a rescue pup, flown in from Lebanon (the country!) after a vet found him severely wounded in the streets. He loves to run, and is the biggest attention hog now! I also have had 3 cats, 1 currently- a fluffy orange tabby who is an absolute dork but lovable nonetheless. He does not currently live in the apartment with me, so I miss him dearly. It is quite rare for me to meet an animal I don't feel comfortable around! I am currently working part-time and control my hours, so I am extremely flexible with whatever needs your fur babies may need! I do not have any current vacations planned either. I'm always cautious of safety for any animal. I like to get as many details from the owners on what their animal likes/dislikes so that I can create a comfortable environment for them.

For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!

About: I have two cats and a crested gecko, so I’m used to complex pet care. As a nursing student, I also have general medical knowledge as well as compassion. I’ve grown up near my grandparents who always have a dog, and over the past several months I have helped care for their mini golden doodle puppy.
