About: I've been working with animals since my first job, and caring for them has always been a passion of mine. Working at a pet store has given me hands-on experience with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I'm committed to providing reliable, compassionate care and treating every pet like they're part of my own family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I do work full time about 40 hours a week. My schedule does vary but I’m very flexible and would love to figure out what works best for us both. Certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR. I have two dogs and two cats. I do drop ins, walking, and overnights! I will do the best of my ability to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable with me. Food, water, walks if needed, lots of fun play time and treats!

About: I was raised with dogs of many different breeds and have owned a dog most of my adult life. In more recent years, I have done pet sitting for friends and family, including dogs, cats, chickens and fish. Experienced with younger pets as well as seniors. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give full attention to your pet and housesitting needs. Available for vacations planned well in advance or last minute needs. If you're looking for dependable and trustworthy pet care, I'm your person. I treat your pets and home as if they're mine and communicate clearly and often so you can rest assured everything is going smoothly. As a seasoned veteran, I also take notice of extra details that may need attention or extra care. With permission, I often bring my pet loving teenage daughters along so your pets can have some extra loving.

About: I care for only one guest dog at a time in a calm, peaceful home, alongside my easygoing dog, Mia. This allows me to give each dog plenty of attention in a relaxed, low-stress environment. I prioritize clear communication and regular updates with photos and Ring videos so you always feel confident and connected while you’re away. I also have hands-on experience caring for other dogs, including my brother’s Boxer, Yoli (featured in my photos). Yoli’s mom shared this testimonial: "Amy has taken care of my Boxer several times over the past year and always provides a great experience for my pup. My Boxer is very happy when I drop her off and greets Amy in a very excited manner. Any questions or concerns about my pup, by Amy, are a phone call or text to clarify. I have utmost faith in the care and love that Amy provides for my pup." My goal is simple: to make every dog feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and what makes them most comfortable so they truly feel at home. I treat every dog like family and create an environment where they can relax, feel secure, and be themselves. I like to leave things a little better than I found them. During drop-in visits, I walk the entire back yard and, if I see dog waste, I pick it up so your yard is clean when you get home. I have plenty of time and energy to care for dogs. My days are flexible, and I enjoy giving dogs attention, exercise, and affection through walks, playtime, or quiet companionship. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, I do one short drop-in visit during the day, so your pup may be alone briefly (typically under an hour). Daycare Hours: Drop-off 7:00 AM–10:00 AM | Pick-up by 6:00 PM Overnight Boarding Hours: Drop-off between 2:00 PM–7:00 PM | Pick-up between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM the next day Late evening drop-offs can be arranged with advance notice at no additional charge. Early / Late Hours: $10 per hour (even 15–20 minutes counts as one full hour). Client Note: Please let me know ahead of time what drop-off and pick-up hours you’re expecting so I can plan my day and make sure your dog’s care goes smoothly. 🐾 Personalized Care & Value Doggy Daycare Hours: 7 a.m.–6 p.m. (11 hours) Rate: $50 $/Hour: $4.55 Notes: Active daytime care, lots of interaction, play, and supervision Boarding Hours: 24 hours (day + night) Rate: $70 $/Hour: $2.92 Notes: Full day + night care, one-on-one attention, feeding, monitoring, and companionship Why this matters: Your dog gets high-quality, personalized care. Daycare covers high-energy active time, and boarding provides 24-hour supervision for one dog at a time — all at very fair rates. For safety reasons, I maintain a consistent verification process for all new clients before scheduling in-home meet & greets. In my home, dogs are always welcomed with love and attention. It’s a cozy space, full of care. I have a friendly 9-year-old Beagle/Jack Russell mix, Mia, who enjoys company and gets along well with other dogs. My yard is secured with an underground dog fence, and I have a collar and cones ready so your dog can safely explore and play alongside Mia. With your approval and when weather permits, I can help train your dog to understand the yard boundaries, so they feel confident and comfortable. I follow each dog’s usual routines for walks, meals, and rest, so they feel cared for and at ease. In my home, all dogs get filtered water. With your approval, I also offer Newman's Own Organic Chicken Recipe Snack Bites as a healthy, controlled treat during training and enrichment activities. I have outdoor Ring cameras and can share updates according to your preference--whether photos, video clips, or both, so you can see your dog while in my care. As far as grooming, I can bathe (I use diluted, unscented Castile soap 50/50 with water for a gentle, natural clean), brush them, and vacuum them with a dog vacuum. I care for only one guest dog in my home at a time, day or night, ensuring focused attention and comfort. My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and feeling right at home. If I visit your home, I can walk or feed more than one dog at a time. Because I’m allergic to cats, I can visit your home to feed and water your cat(s); these are quick in-and-out visits, which I’ve done successfully for a neighbor many times.

About: I am an experienced pet owner and have cared for multiple cats and dogs at the same time, including puppies, kittens, and dogs of all sizes. I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet. You can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and communicative. I’ll send photos and videos during my visits so you can see that your pet is happy, safe, and receiving plenty of care and attention. I also understand that life doesn’t always go as planned, so I offer last-minute care whenever my schedule allows. My goal is to provide calm, confident, and compassionate care so your pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for until you’re home again. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and many holidays. My open availability allows me to accommodate regular visits as well as many last-minute requests. I treat every client's home with the same respect and care that I would my own. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities, and I'll ensure your home is secure, clean, and exactly as you left it. You can count on me to be reliable, trustworthy, and attentive during every visit.

About: Are you in need of someone who is trustworthy to take good care of your dog? I’m your gal! I will take care of your dog as if it was my own. I know how important it is to have a reliable, loving & dependable sitter! I work part-time and have a flexible schedule. Having two older & special needs dogs of our own, we are always making sure they aren’t left too long, get lots of exercise, play time and lots of attention. I have 2 small, friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. We don't have a fenced in yard, but please don't worry....I NEVER let the dogs out with out having the harness and leash on. I take EXTRA caution with this, as it would be a fear of my own. Our two dogs go out several times a day - always on a leash. You fur baby would be in good hands with me!

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 12. Family friends woukd trust me to to take care of their cats and dogs when they went away for a while. I would help take care of the house as well. I love to go for walks with my dogs and go about 3 days a week with my dog Remi. I can watch dogs and cats when my family friends need me too. But also work part time at Pet Supplies Plus so I need a bit more time to plan when I work and when I can stop by and take care of pets. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, follow their normal feeding schedule, provide exercise and playtime, clean up after them, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I also administer medication if instructed, keep their environment clean and safe, and update owners with photos and messages. In a client's home, I respect their routines and care instructions to help pets feel comfortable while their owners are away.

Ricardo is amazing! First time using Rover and I absolutely picked the right person. He scheduled a meet-and-greet to introduce himself and get to know my dog. They were completely at ease with each other. Ricardo’s a proactive communicator, provided regular updates, and was always friendly and punctual. I highly recommend.

About: For dogs who need more energy burned off, I’m happy to do a run instead of a walk, depending on weather and your dog’s needs. My pace tops out at a 10-minute mile, and I can get down to a 9-minute mile as the weather cools. If your dog is comfortable with other dogs, I’ll also bring along my own dog, a blue heeler, to run together. On the flip side, I’m also a big believer in “sniff walks” — letting the dog lead the way and take in all the smells they want, at their own pace. I listen to podcasts during these, so I’m well-practiced at going slow and staying patient. I treat every pet like my own: plenty of attention, patience, and care, plus updates and photos so you know they’re in good hands. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! I have a flexible work-from-home schedule this summer and into the fall, which gives me time most mornings for pet care. I’m out and about with my own dog anyway, so fitting in visits or walks is easy. I’ll be taking on as many visits as I can, since it fits naturally into my routine right now. I follow the owner’s care instructions closely — feeding schedules, routines, and any specific needs the pet has. Clear instructions upfront make for an efficient, friendly visit and a happy pet. I always make sure doors and gates are secure before and after a visit, and I send updates and photos so you know exactly how things went.

About: I have experience with dogs in different life stages, from puppies to seniors. When I was younger, I helped care for a retired lab guide dog through her senior years, which taught me the patience needed for older dogs. Later, I raised and successfully potty trained a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I taught basic commands like sit, catch, come, and stay. I also have experience doing drop in visits for neighbors and overnight pet sitting for family. Since I’m not currently working pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I have plenty of free time and am fully available Tuesday through Saturday from 6AM to 6PM. This allows me to be flexible, whether your dog needs early morning walks, all-day care, or midday check ins. Your pet will have my undivided attention during the day. Since I offer care in the client’s home, your dog gets to stay in their own comfortable environment. I prioritize safety by double checking that doors and gates are locked, keeping a close eye outside, and sticking to their usual routine.

About: A few things that set me apart from other sitters you may see is that I am definitely an animal person.. I’ve had chickens, lizards, guinea pigs, you name it! I am excited to meet new furry friends and help out pet owners! My services include everything from pet sitting at your home, dog walking, and drop in visits/feedings/playtime. I have lots of experience with animals any size, age, or breed. Every pet deserves to feel special and loved, especially when their owners are away from home! A few special qualities I have are that I know CPR for cats and dogs, I can administrate any medication, I’m very reliable and will always answer any calls or texts asap, I have several years of experience in senior dogs, disabled pets, and puppies as we used to breed them! I’m just the girl you need:) Also I am definitely a very organized/clean person, and I can assure you that any mess your pets may make, I will make it look squeaky clean! I am a full time college student right now, but my calendar is updated correctly. Every Thursday pm-Sunday pm or even Monday am I am fully available:) I’m a huge baby when it comes to animals, bad habit of mine is spoiling them! I always make sure to give my animals their daily pills/vitamins, I wrap it in cheese but I have experience in several different ways to administrate medication. No matter the yard situation of a pet owners home, I try to get their pet(s) outside for at least 20 minutes a day, depending on the weather. Even if it’s a quick walk around the block, or playing fetch outside for a bit! Even if the pet does not want to exercise or play, I will always be down for a cuddle session with your fur baby!! Another thing is that I will always respect your privacy, and personal belongings as I come and go into your home and always lock the doors when I leave. I am extremely reliable and you can count on me to always answer my phone calls and texts asap!

About: I have been taking care of my family’s and our friend’s dogs since I was 13. I have been able to take care of many different dogs, most with varying levels of basic medical needs such as medication, or a specialized diet. I will be working part-time, so I will not be able to be in the house all day. This will not stop me from giving your dog the utmost care they deserve. I am happy to share my work schedule just to give an idea of my availability during the sitting period. I have no problem tending to any dogs’ needs whether that be lots of attention, medication, regular walks, or providing an enriching space for them to play. I have taken care of many dogs with varying levels of needs, so this is no problem at all.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
