On average I stay at someone houses for a week while they’re on vacation as well as but not as often a weekend stay. As well as drop in visits to feed, walk or let pets out to do their business. I am great will all breads and sizes of dogs/cats, as well as ages such as senior animals. I personally took are of our 90lb 11 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback after her back legs gave out. Your pet will get the attention and safety he/she needs and will be treated no different than our own. Sami gets 2 walks and 3-4 bathroom breaks per day usually at least 1 of them is off leash at a dog park. We are not a dog boarder, your dog will be in a home and will know the difference. I have outdoor Ring cameras and can share updates according to your preference--whether photos, video clips, or both, so you can see your dog while in my care. As far as grooming, I can bathe (I use diluted, unscented Castile soap 50/50 with water for a gentle, natural clean), brush them, and vacuum them with a dog vacuum. I care for only one guest dog in my home at a time, day or night, ensuring focused attention and comfort. My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and feeling right at home. If I visit your home, I can walk or feed more than one dog at a time. Because I’m allergic to cats, I can visit your home to feed and water your cat(s); these are quick in-and-out visits, which I’ve done successfully for a neighbor many times.

My pace tops out at a 10-minute mile, and I can get down to a 9-minute mile as the weather cools. About: I have been taking care of my family’s and our friend’s dogs since I was 13. I have been able to take care of many different dogs, most with varying levels of basic medical needs such as medication, or a specialized diet. I will be working part-time, so I will not be able to be in the house all day. This will not stop me from giving your dog the utmost care they deserve. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver.
