“Tatyana was great! Hank came home very happy and well exercised. And he loved playing with Biscuit. Tatayana responds very promptly and she sends lots of great pictures and updates throughout the stay. She takes what she does very seriously and is sure to ask you all the questions about your pet so she can take the best possible care. Highly recommend!”

“Emily took excellent care of our dog while we were away. She provided updates and photos of him. He came home clearly happy and was well taken care of by her. Will for sure use her again when we need to. Highly recommend”

“I am completely at ease when we leave our german shorthair pointer with this family. We get plenty of updates and it looks like Daisy gets plenty of playtime with their pet and plenty of attention from the humans. The second time we brought her there she ran right up to the house like she remembered the good memories she made there the last time.”

“Renee always does a great job for us. She’s very dependable and communications with her are prompt and helpful. We can rest easy knowing Renee will take excellent care of Chewie while we are away!”

“Michelle and her wonderful family wholly welcomed my dog Skye and made her feel so welcome at their beautiful property. She's a bit of a nervous girl, and Michelle was very in tune with her moods and needs. She was gently introduced to Michelle's dogs one at a time, and even got to sleep in a bed with a family member. Not only was Skye reassured and happy, I was too!”

“Dan and his wife were absolutely incredible! This was our first experience with Rover, and certainly will not be our last! Dan’s communication was excellent! He sent daily updates, photos, and videos during our time away. I truly felt our pup was so loved and cared for! Hands down would recommend Dan to anyone and everyone! Thank you!!!”

“Katherine was absolutely wonderful! She was able to take my pup so last minute and was extremely communicative throughout my trip. Will be rebooking for every trip!!!”

“I would definitely recommend Melvin and Sean! This was our first time leaving our baby Charlie. As someone who deals with anxiety it wasn't an easy thing for me to do. However they made me feel completely at ease and assured me that he was safe and well taken care of. The photo updates they sent throughout the stay helped so much and truly gave me peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care they provided! We will definitely use them again.”

“Our Chewie had a great time with Susan. She is a good communicator and has a wonderful home for dogs. Chewie loved playing with her two canines. We will certainly use her again!”

“Lindsey and family were awesome! We went out of the country and they watched our Winston. I felt super comfortable with the care that they gave him. He definitely felt loved.🥰 I highly recommend Lindsey. Will definitely be using her when we need someone again if she is free.”

About: I care for only one guest dog at a time in a calm, peaceful home, alongside my easygoing dog, Mia. This allows me to give each dog plenty of attention in a relaxed, low-stress environment. I’ve received five-star reviews from my Rover clients and prioritize clear communication and regular updates with photos so you always feel confident and connected while you’re away. I also have hands-on experience caring for other dogs, including my brother’s Boxer, Yoli (featured in my photos). Yoli’s mom shared this testimonial: "Amy has taken care of my Boxer several times over the past year and always provides a great experience for my pup. My Boxer is very happy when I drop her off and greets Amy in a very excited manner. Any questions or concerns about my pup, by Amy, are a phone call or text to clarify. I have utmost faith in the care and love that Amy provides for my pup." My goal is simple: to make every dog feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and what makes them most comfortable so they truly feel at home. I treat every dog like family and create an environment where they can relax, feel secure, and be themselves. I have plenty of time and energy to care for dogs. My days are flexible, and I enjoy giving dogs attention, exercise, and affection through walks, playtime, or quiet companionship. On Thursdays and Fridays, I do one short drop-in visit during the day, so your pup may be alone briefly (typically under an hour). Daycare Hours: Drop-off 7:00 AM–10:00 AM | Pick-up by 6:00 PM Overnight Boarding Hours: Drop-off between 2:00 PM–7:00 PM | Pick-up between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM the next day Late evening drop-offs can be arranged with advance notice at no additional charge. Early / Late Hours: $10 per hour (even 15–20 minutes counts as one full hour). Client Note: Please let me know ahead of time what drop-off and pick-up hours you’re expecting so I can plan my day and make sure your dog’s care goes smoothly. 🐾 Personalized Care & Value Doggy Daycare Hours: 7 a.m.–6 p.m. (11 hours) Rate: $50 $/Hour: $4.55 Notes: Active daytime care, lots of interaction, play, and supervision Boarding Hours: 24 hours (day + night) Rate: $70 $/Hour: $2.92 Notes: Full day + night care, one-on-one attention, feeding, monitoring, and companionship Why this matters: Your dog gets high-quality, personalized care. Daycare covers high-energy active time, and boarding provides 24-hour supervision for one dog at a time — all at very fair rates. For safety reasons, I maintain a consistent verification process for all new clients before scheduling in-home meet & greets. In my home, dogs are always welcomed with love and attention. It’s a cozy space, full of care. I have a friendly 9-year-old Beagle/Jack Russell mix, Mia, who enjoys company and gets along well with other dogs. My yard is secured with an underground dog fence, and I have a collar and cones ready so your dog can safely explore and play alongside Mia. With your approval and when weather permits, I can help train your dog to understand the yard boundaries, so they feel confident and comfortable. I follow each dog’s usual routines for walks, meals, and rest, so they feel cared for and at ease. In my home, all dogs get filtered water. With your approval, I also offer Newman's Own Organic Chicken Recipe Snack Bites as a healthy, controlled treat during training and enrichment activities. I have outdoor Ring cameras and can share updates according to your preference--whether photos, video clips, or both, so you can see your dog while in my care. As far as grooming, I can bathe (I use diluted, unscented Castile soap 50/50 with water for a gentle, natural clean), brush them, and vacuum them with a dog vacuum. I care for only one guest dog in my home at a time, day or night, ensuring focused attention and comfort. My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and feeling right at home. If I visit your home, I can walk or feed more than one dog at a time. Because I’m allergic to cats, I can visit your home to feed and water your cat(s); these are quick in-and-out visits, which I’ve done successfully for a neighbor many times.

I appreciate her so much and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring pet sitter!”

About: I currently own two six year old cat siblings, but I have a deep bond with my girl kitty Roxy. I’ve done research regarding the body language of cats, how they communicate love (blinking slowly!), and what is most important to them. I love every cat that I’ve ever met.

“Maia was absolutely wonderful to work with. She meet with me and my two girls (cats) in advance of me leaving to ensure they were taken care of. While I was gone I never had any doubt they were in excellent hands! Will absolutely plan to work with Maia again on future leaves and would recommend to anybody else needing help caring for their beloved cats while away!”

About: I have been with rover, dog bording for about 3 years now. I love animals, they are my favorite. I pet every dog I see. I have also been around animals my whole life. When I was younger I had a dog named rocky, he was a cocker spaniel and a beagle mix, I had him for 13 years. When we had to put him down part of my soul left, he was my best friend. I know what its like to love your beautiful animals, through hard times they are always there for us. They are all created with beautiful souls, we are so lucky to have something like that by our sides. With that being said, I would love to take in your pet as if it were my own. Thank you for reading. Ps.I do NOT have cats or any animals. For some reason it says I have cats. 🤷♀️ I currently am a stay at home mom so I am able to be with your pups all day! I am able to get to know your dog and they dont think im a stranger when they come back! I have a lot of space to take your dog for a walk. We walk in the morning and I take them for a long walk before bed, and to crate if needed.
About: I grew up with two dogs (Cav King Charles Spaniels), watched my neighbor's dogs as a teenager, and now have my own 7-year-old Heeler/Hound mix. I genuinely love pups of all sizes and ages. I’m currently between jobs & applying in my spare time, so am currently available pretty much 24/7, and can walk/watch your fury friend with short notice. If I'm watching the dog(s) for an extended period of time, I can either stay at the residence or visit as needed, whatever you prefer. I am unable to host/house pets since my current residence doesn’t allow it (terrible rule, I know), but I would be happy to travel to yours!
“Holly took great care of our Beatrice cat. The drop in visits were timed nicely and the extra love and treats were tops in Bea's book! Communication and photo updates during each visit were wonderful. Would recommend Holly for your furry family member.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have a soft spot for them. I have a four year old very high energy, playful but docile GSP. I will walk, watch, feed and create a stimulating environment for them! I work from home and have flexibility during the week to help out. I am also open most weekends for dog sitting or boarding . I will make sure pets are handled with love and care and will treat them as if they were my own. This might mean lots of belly rubs, snuggles and treats. My home has a fenced backyard and many dog beds and toys. I am happy to stay with your dog at his or her home if that is most comfortable for them and if my schedule allows.
“Izzy is always amazing; brought in packages, came back to check for some sweet potato slips that were arriving at an inopportune time, and most importantly showed tremendous care for our cats!”

“Caroline takes such good care of Clover every time she visits! She is always happy to go, is relaxed when she comes home. It’s so nice having somewhere Clo loves to go and we can trust. Thank you Caroline!”

“Great experience for all. Kristopher and his family were warm and welcoming. They have a fabulous dog of their own to play with. Lots of fun in their great room while meeting. Their farm has horses, goats, chickens so you know they love animals. 5 1/2 stars!”

“Paige and Matthew were so so amazing to my boyfriend and i as well as our ollie! i seriously can’t say enough great things about them, we set up a meet and great which made me (a first time rover mom) feel so much better about seeing how he would interact there. they were SO flexible with pickup and drop off times as my boyfriend is a farmer and gets out of work at different times and whatnot. Paige was super responsive to my messages and sent pictures and videos often to keep me happy! ollie got training while he stayed with them and was less mouthy (puppy teething)! again i cannot say enough good things about them, they loved ollie like he was their own. we will most definitely be booking with them again to take care of our puppy! best rover sitters out there.”

“SHERRI IS AMAZING! She took my booking last minute and was SO attentive! She has a lovely dog Goro loved playing with and a fenced in yard but she also gave him walks which I thought was so amazing. 10/10 best Rovers experience I’ve had :)”

“Amy did a great job with my June Bug and I love the pictures and wrap up that I got. This was our first time working with Amy and I think we found our new caregiver for June Bug. I highly recommend and we will book with her again. Also, her little Mia is the sweetest girl ❤️.”

“Maggie was incredibly accommodating and patient with me and last minute request. My husky loved playing with her Luna, and I love the idea of her being in a home instead of a concrete kennel. I also liked that her sons gave my pets attention while they were there. 100% would recommend Maggie to anyone!”

About: I work remotely, which means I’m home a lot and able to give pets real attention throughout the day, not just quick check-ins between errands. I’ve been a dog owner since 2009, and while my two dogs sadly passed away a few years back, that long experience really shaped how I understand routines, personalities, and all the little quirks that make each pet unique. I usually keep things crate-free so dogs can relax and feel at home; they’re welcome to lounge on the couch, their bed, my bed, or wherever they choose, and I want them to feel like they’re just hanging out in their second home. If your pup is crate-trained or prefers a crate routine though, I’m totally happy to stick with that too. I focus on keeping pets comfortable and sticking closely to their normal routine, whether that’s walks, playtime, meals, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I’m pretty used to everything from energetic zoomies to picky eating to strong opinions about walk routes, so I try to meet each pet where they are and make them feel at home. I also keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages so you’re never wondering how things are going, and can relax knowing your pet is being well cared for (and probably a little spoiled). Working from home gives me a lot of flexibility to fit pet care naturally into the day; walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout. Most pets are rarely left alone for long periods, which can be especially helpful for dogs that get anxious or just like having company. Overall, I try to keep things steady and predictable for pets, since they tend to do best with routine; regular walks, meals, playtime, and companionship built into the day so they feel comfortable and cared for. I offer flexible pet care in both my home and the client’s home, depending on what works best for each pet and their routine. In my home, pets are treated like part of the day-to-day household in a calm, pet-friendly environment where they can relax, play, and settle in comfortably, with consistent routines for feeding, walks, rest, attention, and plenty of time for play and companionship so they feel at ease and not bored. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping everything as familiar and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine and following any specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and anything else that helps them feel secure, while also making sure they get plenty of one-on-one attention so they still feel cared for while you’re away. If I’m house sitting, I also help keep things running smoothly by bringing in mail, watering plants, and making sure everything stays secure, and I always provide regular updates with messages and photos so you know how things are going. Since I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate midday check-ins, overnight stays, and longer care periods, and I’m also pretty adaptable if anything changes last minute. My goal is simply to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time.
“Emily was a lifesaver! She responded right away and was able to provide day care for my dog the day of. She sent me updates throughout his stay and took great care of him. Definitely would recommend and we will be back!”

“Will book again, it was nice for the dogs to have others like them to play together with and know that someone was watching them that has experience with this breed.”

“My girl Kona absolutely loved Holly! Holly gave her all sorts of opportunities to play and explore, and gave Kona lots of attention. I could tell that she gave Kona the same care and attention that I would. I highly recommend letting your puppies stay with Holly!”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced dog owner and lifelong dog lover who has raised and trained my own 4-year-old chocolate lab from puppyhood. I provide a safe, structured, and loving home where your dog will be treated like family. I’m a teacher and am home full-time during the summer, so your pup will get plenty of attention, including daily walks, playtime, and enrichment. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and can administer oral medications if needed. Dogs staying with me must be friendly, as they’ll be spending time with my well-socialized lab who loves having a buddy around. Dogs are welcome on furniture to feel at home (just not on beds). Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, caring for them just like I do my own! I am home during the summers, as I teach during the school year! This allows my schedule to be flexible and provide your pet with frequent bathroom breaks, outside time, walks, and play time! Your pet will be welcomed into my home and treated like a family pet during their stay! Pets are allowed on furniture, but I request that they not sleep on the bed. I have beds that I can provide for them as an alternative sleeping area. My yard is fenced in for ease of bathroom breaks and time spent outside, but will likely be accompanied by me as I will likely be home during the majority of your pets stay. If your pet tends to get curious when left alone, I ask that you provide a crate for them to be put in when I have to run out of the house during your pets stay. I am pretty flexible and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs during their stay!

I treat your pets and home as if they're mine and communicate clearly and often so you can rest assured everything is going smoothly. As a seasoned veteran, I also take notice of extra details that may need attention or extra care. I often bring my pet loving teenage daughters along so your pets can have some extra loving.
“My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to new people/being around people when I’m not present, but Jasmine is so great with him! She was able to meet him prior to becoming his dog walker and he loved her instantly.”

About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8:30-4:30 PM, M-F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. I will give the same care for your puppy any time I am around it!
“First time Rover users, so we did a walk with Lillie to get Odin acclimated before house sitting for a week next week. Lillie handled Odin’s confusion very well and took him around the subdivision and took notes for the upcoming stay.”

“My old pup can be anxious and ramped up with care givers so I am delighted that he was calm with Tyler. I will definitely have Tyler take care of my fur babe again knowing I can depend on him and will not be stressed while on vacation.”

About: Growing up I wasn’t allowed to have pets because of some allergies in my family, but I never met a pet I didn’t like. I took jobs watching dogs and cats any chance I could get. Neighbors still rely on me to feed, walk, and care for their pets to this day. I am a full time student at GVSU, so longer term care needs to happen on the weekends. However, my class schedule has lots of space during the day, so I’m happy to stop by for walks and playtime! I am currently unable to take pets in my home because they are not allowed. However, I have a lot of experience with different types of animals and their needs, and I’d be happy to learn what you pet needs!

About: I’ve had several dog sitting jobs in the past and am looking for more!! I’ve grown up with two cats and being around my aunt and uncle’s two dogs so I have experience loving on pets and will treat yours like my own!!! I’m currently doing some part-time adult care for a neighbor as well as another part-time job. But my schedule is flexible and I’m open about what dates I am available and I am dedicated to being there for your pets!! I care for your pets by giving them lots of love and attention!! From fetch to walks to snuggles I will give them the attention they deserve and ensure their care and safety.
“Anna was fantastic with helping out last minute and did a great job caring for our puppy! She communicated well and also shared adorable photos of our pup on their walk who looked like a happy pup :)”

About: I have had pets since I was a small child and all throughout adulthood so have a ton of experience! Growing up we had a golden retriever (he lived to be 15) and then a mini dachshund. Currently, my husband and I have a cat, an American Hairless Terrier, a Wire-Haired Pointing Griffon and a Doberman Pinscher who are all very sweet and family friendly. My husband is also an AKC registered dog breeder and is the owner of Kyloe Legacy Kennels so I have experience with helping to raise a litter of puppies as well! I look forward to helping take care of your furry loved ones! I am currently home for the summer since I work in the schools as a speech-language pathologist. I have a 2 year old and an 11 year old at home who both love pets. I have a fenced in yard. We have lots of space for dogs to play and can walk them in our neighborhood. Your dog can be any combination of loose in the home, gated in the kitchen/dining area, or in a crate depending on the dogs needs throughout the day and night.

“Kristopher watched my dog while my husband and I moved into our new place, and I’m thankful for how seamless and easy he made our experience! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer family to watch my dog during the eventful day we were having. :)”

“We left our two kittens with Jenny for two weeks and she took really good care of them, she kept us updated and sent us photos of our babies while we were away. We will definitely reach out to her whenever we require a boarding service again, we really recommend her!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!

“Soly went above and beyond in taking excellent care of my dog! He provided thorough daily updates with pictures and videos. It was clear that Honey was happy and comfortable in his care. Looking forward to booking with Soly again and highly recommend to others!”

“Rachel was fantastic with my 2 dogs. One of them has experienced separation anxiety before and Rachel was very patient and prepared for how to make him feel comfortable and cared for. She provided lots of updates during their stay and was very easy to communicate with. I will be reaching out to her whenever I need a safe, loving home for my pets to stay.”

“Dan was awesome to work with, and his dog Penny is a sweetheart that immediately welcomed my young, anxious rescue lab Goose into her home. He made sure Goose felt comfortable in the house, provided him with sufficient exercise, and sent me daily updates with pictures and videos. Highly recommend Dan to anyone in need of a sitter!”
