About: I grew up with cats in my home and dogs at friends' houses. In 2022 I helped raise and train a yellow lab and have walked dogs for 8 years. I'm currently working mornings, getting off at 1 pm. I have the rest of the day to take care of pets by walking, brushing, playing, feeding, or whatever else you'd want. I can work days and weekends, overnight if desired. In the mornings I'd be up between 5 and 6 to walk, feed, and whatever else the pet needed then I'd head to work. Depending on the pet's schedule, I'd immediately head back to walk and feed again. I can be there overnight with the pet or just check in during the day if desired.
About: I'm Amanda, a yoga instructor/interior designer and a full time animal lover! Growing up, I’ve always had dogs and cats (our family is full of nurturing individuals). I have babysat and taken care of relatives and friends animals throughout the years and have many repeating customers! I know that each animal needs a different type of care considering each one has a special characteristics that defines them. I make sure they use the bathroom or are taken out every two-three hours and walks are a must. I have a mini Australian Shepherd, Ezra, and a cat, Veda. I do this so I don’t end up with ten dogs in my household :) I currently work part time and also kind of make my own schedule, so I will have a ton of time to play with the pups and/or cats. Fed twice a day and let out four times a day to get the energy out! I also follow whatever instructions are given to me for each parents preference. About: I absolutely love dogs and have always wanted one of my own. However, because my family is allergic, I’ve had to live vicariously through friends. I’m not super experienced in some of the more niche aspects of pet ownership, but I certainly know how to walk, feed, play with, and pick up after dogs. I am currently a university student in the Middletown, CT area. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule (besides when I’m in class). I’m most available on weekends, but can accept the occasional walk on weekdays. I always try my best to cater to your pet’s needs. I stay attentive, ready to interpret their cues, and able to accommodate any of their needs.

For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. About: Warning: your pet will be returned to you overly loved and cared for! My goal is to provide your dog lots of 1:1 time leaving them happy and you feeling confident. I have grown up with dogs my entire life. When my 16 year old Puggle crossed the rainbow bridge a couple years back, it was the first time in my life I was without a pet. While I’m not ready to bring another pet into our home full time, I would love the opportunity to love your fur baby just as if they were my own! I have experience with puppies through senior dogs. As a stay at home mom, I have flexibility to walk, play, and cuddle as needed! I have 3 young kids who are eager to give (an appropriate) amount of love to your fur baby. I have a fenced in backyard and gates throughout the house to provide adequate safety while still allowing for plenty of freedom. I am familiar with crates as well if that is something your pet is more comfortable with.

About: Growing up I wasn’t allowed to have pets because of some allergies in my family, but I never met a pet I didn’t like. I took jobs watching dogs and cats any chance I could get. Neighbors still rely on me to feed, walk, and care for their pets to this day. I am a full time student at GVSU, so longer term care needs to happen on the weekends. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
