About: Welcome to a home where your dog will be treated like family 🤍 I offer loving, reliable in-home boarding and doggy daycare in a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. With years of hands-on experience caring for animals—both my own and others—you can feel confident that your pet is in attentive, capable hands. My home is full of warmth and love! Your dog will enjoy: • A large, secure backyard for sunshine, fresh air, and exercise • Daily walks tailored to their energy level • Optional trips to the dog park (if your pup enjoys social outings) • Plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention throughout the day I do my best to match your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. Whether your pup prefers to snuggle up in bed with me or feels more secure in their crate at night, I am happy to accommodate their needs. I truly believe pets are family, and I will care for yours with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I look forward to welcoming your dog into our home! 🐾 Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I work from home, allowing me to give your fur baby consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. From morning walks and outdoor time in my yard to playtime, feeding, and plenty of cuddles, your pup will be well cared for all day & night. Your pet can expect reliable, love, comfort, and companionship while they’re with me. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. With years of hands-on experience caring for animals, along with training I’ve completed with my own pets, I’m confident in providing attentive, responsible, and knowledgeable care. My home is a safe and secure environment, featuring a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy outdoor time while staying protected. I also have a home security system and live in a safe, close-knit neighborhood where I know my neighbors, adding an extra layer of peace of mind. Because I work from home, your dog will have near-constant supervision throughout the day. I’m also experienced in administering medications to a variety of animals and am comfortable following any specific care instructions your pet may need. You can trust that your dog will be cared for with the same level of attention, safety, and love as my own.
“We were so happy with Holly and her care of Cappy. She arrived in the morning when she said that she would, and provided great updates to us. When we returned home, Cappy was calm and happy which meant that he wasn't stressed out about having Holly care for him. That means the world to us. I would absolutely recommend Holly. Thanks again!”

“Tyler came in clutch with a prompt response when I had last-minute work plans pop up, and he handled my short notice instructions with ease. His level of care and communication is unmatched. I highly recommend Tyler to anyone seeking top notch care and peace of mind!”

About: I have experience with dogs in different life stages, from puppies to seniors. When I was younger, I helped care for a retired lab guide dog through her senior years, which taught me the patience needed for older dogs. Later, I raised and successfully potty trained a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I taught basic commands like sit, catch, come, and stay. I also have experience doing drop in visits for neighbors and overnight pet sitting for family. Since I’m not currently working pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I have plenty of free time and am fully available Tuesday through Saturday from 6AM to 6PM. This allows me to be flexible, whether your dog needs early morning walks, all-day care, or midday check ins. Your pet will have my undivided attention during the day. Since I offer care in the client’s home, your dog gets to stay in their own comfortable environment. I prioritize safety by double checking that doors and gates are locked, keeping a close eye outside, and sticking to their usual routine.
“Our German Shepherd loves Kelsey! Anytime I’m out of town for work she lets him out for potty and play. I love getting photos and she is always responsive and on time. Thanks Kelsey!”

About: I’ve had a deep connection with animals for as long as I can remember. I’m constantly around fur babies and fully commit to their care. I am comfortable around all dogs, big or small, always more than willing to learn how to cater to your specific animal! When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will give my undivided attention and love. I am dedicated and follow instructions extremely well, going above and beyond to complete tasks. I grew up with a Newfoundland so I am no stranger to misjudged breeds! I’m currently self employed with a very flexible weekly schedule, so plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am open to drop ins and house sitting any day of the week, although I would still stop at home daily to nurture my cat Aurora and the ferals I feed. 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup much needed exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation. 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks/litter refresh, feeding, playtime, and of course snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your fur baby so they have company and comfort in their own home, Along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks/litter refresh, meals, playtime, and cuddles.
“Katie is incredible! She took wonderful care of our puppy, visiting him twice a day to help with potty breaks. She was thorough, great at communicating, and loved on our pup (and cat) so much! She also continued his training by asking us for the commands we were training. Our puppy absolutely loved her and we will be hiring her again!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have a soft spot for them. I have a four year old very high energy, playful but docile GSP. I will walk, watch, feed and create a stimulating environment for them! I work from home and have flexibility during the week to help out. I am also open most weekends for dog sitting or boarding . I will make sure pets are handled with love and care and will treat them as if they were my own. This might mean lots of belly rubs, snuggles and treats. My home has a fenced backyard and many dog beds and toys. I am happy to stay with your dog at his or her home if that is most comfortable for them and if my schedule allows.
“Ivana is a punctual and a conscientious sitter and took great care of my dogs and my place. She takes her job seriously, was respectful to me and went above and beyond to care for my dogs. I will definitely use her services again. I am happy to have found her.”

About: **Beginning 9/22/26 we will be taking a few months hiatus as we welcome our first baby! If you are one of our routine clients, feel free to message us anyway as we may be ready to take dogs sooner - you never know 😊** I moved away from the New England area during the pandemic and came to the Midwest where I didn’t know anyone. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. Thankfully, Rover and other apps helped, especially when I was able to travel again. I'm looking to help out in the same way this app and others helped me. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly, two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, we have a loft area, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend
“Alaina did a great job taking care of Bella while I was away. She was friendly, communicated very well, and I would definitely feel confident about rebooking her or recommending her to others.”

Laura was an exceptional care taker of our older cat while we were away. She kept us updated regularly, sent the sweetest photos, and even checked on our property after we lost power during a storm. Knowing everything was taken care of gave us so much peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful for her care and kindness.

Thank you so much Kristopher! We have struggled to find good care for our Aussie when we go away and I am so thankful to have found Kristopher. The communication was great, he is undaunted by my dog and willing to go with what the dog is used to at our home. In just this one interaction, I felt our families had similar values and this made leaving Jesse in his care very comfortable. There were some fun extras to the visit and Jesse was very well cared for. Thankful and hopeful for get-aways to come. Great experience all the way around.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
