“Laura was an exceptional care taker of our older cat while we were away. She kept us updated regularly, sent the sweetest photos, and even checked on our property after we lost power during a storm. “Ariel did a great job watching our two kitties! It was my first time using a service, so I was a little nervous about having someone I didn’t know coming into my home. I worried unnecessarily. Ariel was so good about sending me details about her visit and many pictures of my kitties, which filled me with so much peace…I was able to enjoy my vacation! When I arrived home, I was greeted by two happy cats, and my home was just as I left it. I will 100% be using Ariel’s pet services in the future!”

About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. At your house, I am happy to follow all rules set in place.

“We are so grateful for the excellent care that Holly provides! She is kind and considerate, trustworthy, and dependable. She even made it through a blizzard! George loves when she visits and we appreciate knowing that he is in her capable hands.”

“Pamela did an excellent job looking after my cats while I was gone! I loved the many pictures she took and her thorough updates. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again!”

About: I grew up with multiple cats in my family over the years - each with their own unique personalities. I have taken care of more cats than I can count. I love cuddling and playing with them. I have experience administering oral and subcutaneous medications.
About: I'd love to walk your dog and give them the love they deserve! I have experience pet sitting and walking, as well as riding and training horses growing up. I also love to run and would be happy to run with your dog if they need to get more energy out! Currently, evenings work best for me. Walks anytime after 5:30 should be fine on weekdays, and I am more flexible on weekends- I can often do walks in the afternoon as well. I am not able to provide pet day care right now. I would love to walk dogs, but can not take them into my home.
“Maelee was great with our four cats while we were on vacation. Her communication was great and she went above and beyond what was asked of her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for cat care!”

“Maia is amazing and took such great care of our Mo while we were on our trip. She communicates well, leaves detailed notes of each stay, and sends lots of pictures. I truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better!”

“Oh my goodness, amazing! It’s clear she is an animal lover and caretaker. The thoughtful updates on what the kitties were up to and what she did during her time at the check in were so helpful and made me feel so at ease. Will DEFINITELY rebook. Thank you SO much Moira!!!”

About: Throughout my eight years of researching pets, I have come to appreciate cats for their historical connection with humans. I admire their agility, as well as the distinct sounds and movements they use to communicate with us. They are remarkably precise and quite beautiful creatures. As a quiet individual, I believe they would thrive in a peaceful home environment.

“Alaina did a great job talking care of our two cats while we were out for a few days. She made sure our little ones were well fed and loved, and they both loved their time with her too!!”

About: Neighbors and clients have trusted me in their home to safely care for their cats & I have done just that. It’s a joy and an honor to be able to care for animals this way. It’s a natural dopamine booster for me, as well!
About: I have grown up with dogs and have a soft spot for them. I have a four year old very high energy, playful but docile GSP. I will walk, watch, feed and create a stimulating environment for them! I work from home and have flexibility during the week to help out. I am also open most weekends for dog sitting or boarding . I will make sure pets are handled with love and care and will treat them as if they were my own. This might mean lots of belly rubs, snuggles and treats. My home has a fenced backyard and many dog beds and toys. I am happy to stay with your dog at his or her home if that is most comfortable for them and if my schedule allows.

“Booking with Kelsey & Forrest to take care of my cat was such a great experience! They were very communicative, sent pictures and videos of my cat, provided updates, and took very good care of my girl 🐱. This was my first experience with Rover and it was very pleasant. If you want someone that’ll take care of your pet like their own, don’t hesitate to book Kelsey & Forrest. I will definitely book them again in the future :)”

“Stephani did a great job checking in on and feeding our cats while we were away. She sent us lots of pictures of the kitties, and gave us peace of mind that they were being taken care of.”

“Ivana is a punctual and a conscientious sitter and took great care of my dogs and my place. She takes her job seriously, was respectful to me and went above and beyond to care for my dogs. I will definitely use her services again. I am happy to have found her.”

“Kristopher and his family were so wonderful with our pup. They were so welcoming to her and had great communication throughout her stay. Would highly recommend, and will be booking again in the future!”

“SHERRI IS AMAZING! She took my booking last minute and was SO attentive! She has a lovely dog Goro loved playing with and a fenced in yard but she also gave him walks which I thought was so amazing. 10/10 best Rovers experience I’ve had :)”

“Maggie was incredibly accommodating and patient with me and last minute request. My husky loved playing with her Luna, and I love the idea of her being in a home instead of a concrete kennel. I also liked that her sons gave my pets attention while they were there. 100% would recommend Maggie to anyone!”

About: I’ve owned dogs all my life. I believe they are more than pets, they are trusted friends. I will treat your dog as if he/she were my own. I work primarily from home. I’m away only 10-15 hours per week. I’m very flexible and willing to work with you for the love and benefit of your pet. I live in my new built home. There is a lot of area outside where we can walk, but I’ll never leave a dog unattended. I have my kids (aged 16 & 18) part time. They may be around. My kids love dogs.
“This was our first time leaving our dog (Fitz) with anyone, so wasn't sure how it was going to go. Joshua made us feel very comfortable. He took great care of Fitz and updated us throughout the day!”
About: I am a Physician Assistant who just graduated school and am looking for some extra cash while paying my student loans. I love being around animals and enjoy playing with cats or taking dogs on walks! I am super outgoing and enjoy keeping myself busy during my breaks. I’m currently applying for jobs in the Chicago area so my availability is currently very open, I update my schedule weekly based on my travels. I provide all my pets in my home with love and affection. I like to walk them on trails and feed them treats. I like to brush and wash dogs as well.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!
“Marina came to my rescue after a last minute change of plans! I’ve worked with Marina before, and my dog absolutely loves her. It gives me such peace of mind to know that my dog will be well cared for while I’m at work.”

“I’ve been having my puppy stay with Daniel and his wife periodically throughout the week for the past month. First and foremost, Daniel is very flexible and understanding of my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! Second, I enjoy the fact that Hugo is able to play with other dogs and interact with their dog parents throughout the day. I think this gives him good interaction and good socialization to help him as he gets older. Finally, Hugo is always so excited to see Daniel in the morning! This makes me feel like Hugo is having fun and is getting good attention while at doggy daycare. It’s very comforting knowing that Hugo has such a good place to spend his days when I’m at work.”

“Amy did a great job with my June Bug and I love the pictures and wrap up that I got. This was our first time working with Amy and I think we found our new caregiver for June Bug. I highly recommend and we will book with her again. Also, her little Mia is the sweetest girl ❤️.”

“Libby walked right in like she was visiting family and seemed very happy at the end of her visit. I could tell she enjoyed herself. I really appreciated the good care she received from Susan!”

“Ariel’s the best! She made sure my shy pup got comfortable with her before talking her on a walk, gave her her medications and took her on nice long walks. Highly recommend Ariel, a kind, caring sitter!”

“Katie is amazing! We are new to GR and were nervous about finding someone to walk our dog. Katie was incredible! She was 100% on time, she listened to what our dog needed (wanted to turn around early on their walk) and then spent the remainder of their time hanging out! I could not be more thankful to have someone like Katie!”

About: Hello! I've been a Registered Nurse for over 19 years in a variety of settings. I spent 10 years at the beside in hospitals, volunteered internationally, performed chronic care coordination, and abstracted data for research. I currently work remotely for a health tech company in New York City which allows me to work from anywhere in the United States. I love travel, hiking, yoga, water activities and eating! About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
About: I have experience with dogs in different life stages, from puppies to seniors. When I was younger, I helped care for a retired lab guide dog through her senior years, which taught me the patience needed for older dogs. Later, I raised and successfully potty trained a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I taught basic commands like sit, catch, come, and stay. I also have experience doing drop in visits for neighbors and overnight pet sitting for family. Since I’m not currently working pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I have plenty of free time and am fully available Tuesday through Saturday from 6AM to 6PM. This allows me to be flexible, whether your dog needs early morning walks, all-day care, or midday check ins. Your pet will have my undivided attention during the day. Since I offer care in the client’s home, your dog gets to stay in their own comfortable environment. I prioritize safety by double checking that doors and gates are locked, keeping a close eye outside, and sticking to their usual routine.

About: Pet Sitting Profile I’ve been around animals my entire life, and I’m always happiest when I get the chance to care for them! I’m moving back to Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 15, and I’m hoping to buy a home in the summer of 2027. In the meantime, I’ll be staying with relatives, so pet sitting and house sitting feel like a great way for us to help each other. I can earn some extra money toward my future home while getting to spend time with some amazing animals, and you can have peace of mind knowing your pets and home are in caring, responsible hands. A little about me: I’m 35, gay, and a friendly, responsible professional who works in hotel sales. I’ll be working fully remote, which gives me plenty of flexibility to be available and give your pets the attention and care they deserve. I currently have a 3-year-old large dog will be getting to vacation at his grandparents. Thankfully, my parents will be helping care for him. which allows me to take on pet sitting and house sitting opportunities. My experience with animals goes well beyond dogs and cats. I’ve had two saltwater aquariums with fish, corals, anemones, and more, as well as a large freshwater aquarium that I maintained for years. Growing up, I also owned several reptiles and have experience helping care for chickens, ducks, and other animals. Whether your pets need walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, aquarium care, or simply someone trustworthy around while you’re away, I’d love the opportunity to help. I genuinely enjoy animals and will treat your pets like they’re my own! I am relocating back home to Grand Rapids on September 15 and I will be working in a fully remote capacity from 10:30am-6pm. I will have a very flexible schedule and no commitments outside of work so last minute needs are easy to accommodate. I do travel for work periodically but that will get communicated well in advance. I have my travels through April on my availability already. I am most comfortable caring for the pets in their own environment. I will be living with relatives upon my return so cannot care for animals in my home unless there is a specific situation that is discussed in advance. I’ve watched relatives and friends pets for years and I am comfortable in many different housing situations!
“This was our initial walk for introduction and it could not have gone better. Cooper can be a bit reactive and that did not phase Daniel one bit! At one point Daniel bent over to tie his shoe and Cooper went in for a smooch opportunity! I am thrilled!!!!! The boys are thrilled! Daniel is terrific, kind and patient. Welcome aboard to our pack ?”

“Stephani is amazing! We just adopted our pup not too long ago and she is super shy, but she warmed up to Stephani right away! She’s patient, knowledgeable and caring, can’t ask for much more.”
