About: I currently work in a vet clinic. I have many years of professional experience working with animals in veterinary facilities, boarding facilities, and even a dog walking/pet sitting company. My kids include five dogs (Eros, Echo, Eevee, Eddy, and Espresso) and 4 rescue cats (Auribus, Bones, Munk, and Mickey). My niece (boxer named Sophia) and nephew (beagle named Copper) mean the world to me, so I understand that these animals are your family and deserve to be treated as such. I will always put the animals needs before anything else. I am trained with the critical signs of stress and have experience reading animal behavior. I have experience with animals of different sizes, temperaments, and age! I promise your pet is in good hands. :) I currently work at a vet clinic full time, however I would love to work with you around my schedule to get the fur babies taken care of! The care I provide is based on the need of the pet. Some need more exercise, some need to be crated, some medicated- whatever they need, I can provide!

About: I have experience providing both overnight pet care and daily drop-in/walk visits for dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and ages. I enjoy caring for animals and believe dogs thrive with consistent attention, daily exercise, and loving care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping pets company, I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work in a school, so I currently have weekends available and I will have summer available to provide daily walks in a few weeks. Safety and fulfilling needs is my number one priority when I have a pet in my care. I will ensure that walks or visits are safe for your pet and that its needs are being met.

About: I care for only one guest dog at a time in a calm, peaceful home, alongside my easygoing dog, Mia. This allows me to give each dog plenty of attention in a relaxed, low-stress environment. I’ve received five-star reviews from my Rover clients and prioritize clear communication and regular updates with photos and Ring videos so you always feel confident and connected while you’re away. I also have hands-on experience caring for other dogs, including my brother’s Boxer, Yoli (featured in my photos). Yoli’s mom shared this testimonial: "Amy has taken care of my Boxer several times over the past year and always provides a great experience for my pup. My Boxer is very happy when I drop her off and greets Amy in a very excited manner. Any questions or concerns about my pup, by Amy, are a phone call or text to clarify. I have utmost faith in the care and love that Amy provides for my pup." My goal is simple: to make every dog feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and what makes them most comfortable so they truly feel at home. I treat every dog like family and create an environment where they can relax, feel secure, and be themselves. I like to leave things a little better than I found them. During drop-in visits, I walk the entire back yard and, if I see dog waste, I pick it up so your yard is clean when you get home. I have plenty of time and energy to care for dogs. My days are flexible, and I enjoy giving dogs attention, exercise, and affection through walks, playtime, or quiet companionship. On Thursdays and Fridays, I do one short drop-in visit during the day, so your pup may be alone briefly (typically under an hour). Daycare Hours: Drop-off 7:00 AM–10:00 AM | Pick-up by 6:00 PM Overnight Boarding Hours: Drop-off between 2:00 PM–7:00 PM | Pick-up between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM the next day Late evening drop-offs can be arranged with advance notice at no additional charge. Early / Late Hours: $10 per hour (even 15–20 minutes counts as one full hour). Client Note: Please let me know ahead of time what drop-off and pick-up hours you’re expecting so I can plan my day and make sure your dog’s care goes smoothly. 🐾 Personalized Care & Value Doggy Daycare Hours: 7 a.m.–6 p.m. (11 hours) Rate: $50 $/Hour: $4.55 Notes: Active daytime care, lots of interaction, play, and supervision Boarding Hours: 24 hours (day + night) Rate: $70 $/Hour: $2.92 Notes: Full day + night care, one-on-one attention, feeding, monitoring, and companionship Why this matters: Your dog gets high-quality, personalized care. Daycare covers high-energy active time, and boarding provides 24-hour supervision for one dog at a time — all at very fair rates. For safety reasons, I maintain a consistent verification process for all new clients before scheduling in-home meet & greets. In my home, dogs are always welcomed with love and attention. It’s a cozy space, full of care. I have a friendly 9-year-old Beagle/Jack Russell mix, Mia, who enjoys company and gets along well with other dogs. My yard is secured with an underground dog fence, and I have a collar and cones ready so your dog can safely explore and play alongside Mia. With your approval and when weather permits, I can help train your dog to understand the yard boundaries, so they feel confident and comfortable. I follow each dog’s usual routines for walks, meals, and rest, so they feel cared for and at ease. In my home, all dogs get filtered water. With your approval, I also offer Newman's Own Organic Chicken Recipe Snack Bites as a healthy, controlled treat during training and enrichment activities. I have outdoor Ring cameras and can share updates according to your preference--whether photos, video clips, or both, so you can see your dog while in my care. As far as grooming, I can bathe (I use diluted, unscented Castile soap 50/50 with water for a gentle, natural clean), brush them, and vacuum them with a dog vacuum. I care for only one guest dog in my home at a time, day or night, ensuring focused attention and comfort. My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and feeling right at home. If I visit your home, I can walk or feed more than one dog at a time. Because I’m allergic to cats, I can visit your home to feed and water your cat(s); these are quick in-and-out visits, which I’ve done successfully for a neighbor many times.

About: I’ve been working with animals ever since I got a job. It’s definitely one of my passions in life and I can’t wait to meet more animals everyday. I work at a pet store! I do work full time about 40 hours a week. My schedule does vary but I’m very flexible and would love to figure out what works best for us both. I have two dogs so unfortunately I can’t do sitting at my house but would be willing to do whatever else works. I can do drop ins, house sit, or just take them for walks.

Abigail has been so wonderful!! My mini poodle is 9 months old and he can be a handful at times, Abigail is very patient and kind to him. I was able to set up a repeating schedule to cover my work days. She is very dependable and understanding. It brings me a lot of peace of mind knowing he is in good care while I’m at work.

About: I am an experienced pet owner and have cared for multiple cats and dogs at the same time, including puppies, kittens, and dogs of all sizes. I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet. You can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and communicative. I’ll send photos and videos during my visits so you can see that your pet is happy, safe, and receiving plenty of care and attention. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s a lifelong passion. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Alaskan Malamutes and everything in between. Over the years, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, colleagues, and clients, and I understand the importance of treating every dog with patience, kindness, and individualized care. While working as a home health care aide, I was often entrusted with caring for my clients’ pets, ensuring they were fed, exercised, and comfortable while their owners received care. I also volunteered as a dog walker with the Humane Society of West Michigan, where I gained experience working with dogs of varying personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding plans and dietary restrictions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. I am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, giving pet owners added peace of mind that their companions are in capable hands. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply spending time with someone who genuinely loves dogs, I am committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care while you’re away. As a devoted dog owner of three, caring for animals is an integral part of my daily life, and I extend that same level of attention, responsibility, and affection to every pet in my care. I am fully comfortable handling all aspects of daily dog care, including feeding, walking, potty breaks, enrichment, and playtime. My flexible schedule allows me to be home for most of the day throughout the week, as well as on weekends, providing consistent supervision and companionship. I also have the option to work from home when additional attention or frequent potty breaks are needed. In my household, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. On typical days when I am away from home, my dogs are alone no longer than 5–6 hours. In many cases, my boyfriend may be home when I am not, and when both of us are working, we are generally away for no more than 4–5 hours at a time. If both of us are expected to be away for longer than two hours during a pet’s care period, I communicate this in advance to ensure transparency and appropriate planning. I maintain a consistent but flexible routine that prioritizes feeding, hydration, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs always have access to fresh water and are fed twice daily (or as often as your individual dog requires). Potty breaks are provided frequently based on each dog’s individual needs and cues; however, I am more than willing to follow a more structured schedule if that is what your pet is accustomed to. I am also experienced with administering medications, including monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and take great care to ensure all medications are given accurately and on time. While my household follows a generally relaxed routine, I understand that many pets thrive on structure. I am fully comfortable adhering to detailed instructions and incorporating established routines into my daily care. During the days I am available according to my Rover schedule, I am home for the majority of the day. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. Above all, I prioritize safety, supervision, and communication. Your pet will never be left without attentive care. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and affection so that every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their time with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I share my home with three friendly dogs, each with their own unique personality: an energetic and affectionate Boston Terrier, a more reserved but sweet Boston Terrier, and a laid-back Chihuahua who enjoys staying close by. They are well-socialized and can provide companionship for visiting dogs when appropriate. My home is set up to accommodate a variety of needs and routines. I have three individual crates with comfortable bedding available for dogs who are crate trained or require confinement, and you are always welcome to bring your own crate if it helps your pet feel more at home. While my own dogs enjoy free access to the house and are allowed on the furniture, I am happy to follow your pet’s established rules and routines, including using gates or designated areas if needed. Although my yard is not physically fenced, safety is always a top priority. My dogs are never outdoors unsupervised, and the same standard of care applies to every pet I watch. I have a large, open yard that provides plenty of space for exercise, and I regularly walk dogs on a leash around the property and in the neighborhood. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver. He may occasionally assist if I need to step away briefly, providing additional supervision and support, but all communication and primary care responsibilities remain with me. For added peace of mind, I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. You can trust that your pet will receive attentive, compassionate, and responsible care throughout their stay.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
