“Molly was great! She communicated very clearly and even double-checked the window of time I requested for her visits, which involved medication. I had inadvertently mentioned two different arrival times, which were close but not the same. Another person could have thought, "Oh, I'll just go at such and such a time. Close enough." But Molly took the time to reach out and double-check. I appreciated that. When visiting cat, did everything just right! I recommend Molly!! 😊”

“They were amazing, beyond kind, and very responsive! They sent lots of pictures and kept up on all tasks asked! I would trust them again and again. Will be booking again for our next trip :) Thanks!”

“Heather came for a meet and greet and was so lovely and attentive. She sent photos and a description of what happened during her visits and touched base with me after my trip. She’s great!”

“Alexandria checked in on our two golden retrievers and was great! She was communicative, on time, and took good care of our pups! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life as well as fostering both for six years. I have experience with puppies, kittens, seniors, reactive dogs, and medication administration! I’m just looking for something fun to do between classes during the week and on my off days! It also allows me some much needed time with dogs as I unfortunately don’t have any since moving from Northern Michigan! I would treat them as if they were my own pet follow the owners instructions and be respectful of their home. I’m comfortable administering medications and working with reactive animals.
“Liz was great! She loves on our puggels all week for us! They always seemed happy and enjoyed seeing her. She also thoughtfully took watered my plants outside so my porch was lovely when I got back! Thank you Liz! We will definitely work with you again!!”

About: I will treat your dog like Family. They will get much Love and attention. I do dog sitting for family and friends and run a rescue for Siberian huskies so I have alot of dog experience. I am very passionate about what I do and my dogs. Which is why this is the kind of job I will really enjoy. Dogs are so loving and have such amazing different personalities and that is why they are so special and I love taking care of them. I know they are well taken care of when they are with me. I am available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Thank You for allowing me to tell you a little bit about myself. Looking forward to meeting you. I work 2 days a week so those days I am not available for daycare right now hoping to change that. as for boarding they would be crated the 2 days I am working but I can come home for lunch to let them out for a bit. other then that I am usually home with them. I love being home and playing with the dogs and loving on them thats my ideal day. I have a private fenced in backyard and even though it is private I always am watching them when they are outside if I am not out there with them. Both my husband and I play with them and they get lots of attention from us.

About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I love being outside and taking the babies for walks. I have a fenced in yard as well as two other dogs and two other cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. It’s important to me that animals are well taken care of and I love spending extra time playing and snuggling with any babies I get to hang out with.
“I left my dog, Theo, with Kelsey and Forrest for a few hours, and definitely plan on using them again in the future! They were very accommodating, and facilitated a meet-up beforehand, so that Theo could get comfortable with them and their space before his stay. When I dropped him off, he didn’t even look back! Kelsey and Forrest are very trustworthy and obviously animal lovers.”

“Emily has been a total joy to interact with, all communication has been very easy and we feel that our cat Rajah has been spoiled with attention and love. We've really enjoyed the pictures of him she included with each visit, and we feel super grateful for her prompt arrival times, and her check-ins with us that evoke a sense of great kindness and care. We will absolutely rebook with her!”

“This girl braved a bad snowstorm to get to my home to feed my fur baby’s. I am extremely impressed with Grace and will definitely use her for my babies in the future. Thank you so much Grace.”

“Elise was wonderful and did everything I asked. More importantly, my two cats were very happy with her—they played with her and even let her rub their bellies. I know they’ll be thrilled to have Elise care for them again!”

“Ivana is a punctual and a conscientious sitter and took great care of my dogs and my place. She takes her job seriously, was respectful to me and went above and beyond to care for my dogs. I will definitely use her services again. I am happy to have found her.”

“Alaina is so wonderful with my kitties, they love her! She took great care of them and I appreciated the updates and photos. I highly recommend her and will hire her again in the future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Comstock Park
Megan did a fantastic job watching my cat while I was away. She routinely went above and beyond to make sure she was cared for, and provided me with great updates and photos after every visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Megan, and I would completely trust her to watch her again.

Erin and Brian showed our two cats so much care and attention. They were very communicative, sent pics and updates, took care of our cats, and helped with random things that came up around the home. I would be happy to have them watch the boys again and would recommend them.

This was my first time using Rover and I had a great experience with Meghan. She was available even though the booking was short notice (under two weeks). We met briefly to go over the pets’ routine before we left. She was efficient and communicative, sending photos and responding if I had any questions. Many thanks, Meghan! Good luck with the end of vet school!

Taylor was exactly what I was looking for in a cat sitter. Communicative and caring in what she does. As a first time rover user, Taylor put me at ease and updated me daily on how my cat was doing. She is new to a medicine and Taylor did a great job ensuring she took her pill daily. I cant recommend her enough to watch your pets!

Mallory has watched my cat several times and always does a great job. She sends me updates and pictures and I come home to a healthy cat. She is always willing to do a quick meeting beforehand to get the keys and go over anything that has changed since the last time she watched him. Even if there’s a snow storm, I know she will make sure she gets to my cat to check on him and give him lots of treats!

This was our third trip where Kristy cat-sat for us. Kristy does a great job with our shy cat. The pictures she sends with each visit are cute and it looks like he is slowly warming up to her. Everything was clean and neat, just like we keep it when we are home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
