“Izzy was great at pet sitting for us! We had drop in visits for our 4 cats. They require medications to be given twice a day. Our cats enjoyed the attention Izzy gave. Izzy was able to follow the cats food instructions. We will definitely book with Izzy again!”

“Alexis was awesome. I booked her to come watch my cats while I was out of town. Right before I left I had to take Smokey to the vet where they prescribed her a couple doses of medicine I thought I would have to cancel my trip but she was very accommodating and said she would be able to give her the medicine. She has great communication and will send you pictures for an update which I loved. I would book Alexis again in the future!”

“Abigail was great, she responded quickly and was able to take a last minute booking. She sent tons of cute photos during her time with my pup which was much appreciated. Would book again!”

“Hanna was great with Momo. Always on time, tons of photos :), very descriptive about what she took care of while she was with him. And he seemed to be happy and chubby when we got back, just the way we left him!”

“Jennifer was so awesome! She agreed to watch PK last minute and was so patient and nice while I figured out scheduling. She sent me several photos and updates each time she visited and was very accommodating to my separation anxiety. Jennifer is the best and will def be using her services again!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since birth. I started taking more responsibility for them around the age of 10. The moment I graduated college, I got my own rescue doggo. Maisie is now 10 and likes to sleep and cuddle, so I’m looking to add some energetic pups to my walking route. I’m a nurse and have random time off during the week. My schedule is far from consistent but I hope that helps me stand out as someone to just drop in periodically. I’m a pet parent myself so I know how anxious people can get when you’re away from your babies. And I know how anxious your pets can get too! I’ll follow any sort of instruction you leave!
About: I’ve been a dog owner and surrounded by dogs all my life! I love animals and spending time outside, so pet sitting has always been something I’ve loved doing! I do overnight stays as well as day-to-day visits! I hope to sit for your pet soon! I currently am working part-time, and have lots of open availability to watch your animals! I’m a student at GRCC, however I only have 3 classes in person a week, and they’re short in the morning. I’m very flexible and will be able to give your pets all the attention they need! I follow the rules and requirements for a sitter that the home/pet owners enforce! I love and play with any and all dogs, and will keep the home as I found it (or better)!
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs and currently have two of my own spunky cats I love on everyday. My youngest cat is a rescue that I adopted after he was hit by a car and broke his pelvis. He has unique medical needs now which include daily miralax and specialty food so I am comfortable caring for pets with medical needs. I work full time as a registered dietitian in downtown Grand Rapids. I work full time at an office in downtown Grand Rapids. I enjoy going for walks before and after work. My youngest cat has special medical needs which makes me comfortable providing medication to other pets as needed. I have an upstairs and basement with plenty of room to roam for my cats and lots of toys for them to have engagement while I am at work. While I don't have a dog (yet) I do have a fenced in backyard which is nice for when friends dogs come to visit.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. My freshman year of community college I started a dog sitting business that has 4-5 clients regularly as well as additional clients every so often. I have experience giving insulin shots to dogs as well as taking care of blind dogs. I currently volunteer at the animal shelter which has allowed me to better understand a variety of dogs and their behaviors. I work full-time but am remote Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am also available after 4 during the week. I am also available as needed on the weekends. When entrusted with someone’s dog it’s not a job I take lightly and strive to provide the same amount of care I would expect if someone were taking care of my families dogs.
About: I currently have two cats and a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can rely on. I’m attentive, gentle, and treat every pet as if they were my own — making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I work full time during the week and am available for pet care in the evenings and on weekends. My schedule is consistent, and I plan ahead to ensure reliable care every time. I provide pet care in clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar space. I am calm, patient, and follow your pet’s routine closely. I have one friendly dog who may occasionally join on walks only if you’re comfortable with that and it’s a good match. I am experienced with both dogs and cats — including shy or sensitive pets — and I always prioritize safety, respect, and communication.
About: Animals have been a part of my life since I was born. I grew up in a dog family with my first being a Golden Retriever named Dutch to my family’s current dog, a Schnauzer-Yorkie mix named Gatsby. Then in college, I fell in love with cats after adopting Esther, a senior cat with a feral orange cat attitude who needed a lot of medical care and attention due to being FIV positive. Nowadays, I live with my boyfriend (we don’t do in home care so he will not be assisting) and our cat Chucky, the sweetest most evil demon of an orange tabby there is! But I proudly consider myself both a cat and dog person. I have hands-on experience with daily check-ins and extended house/pet sitting (longest being a month) for a wide variety of animals—including cats, dogs, reptiles, bunnies, goats, and even plant care. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from tiny chihuahuas to larger breeds like pitbulls. For reptiles, I’ve cared for bearded dragons, crested geckos, and chameleons. Whether you need someone to handle quick visits/walks or longer stays, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, consistency, and genuine love! DROP INS & WALKING AVAILABILITY: Monday-Sunday 8AM-8PM OVERNIGHT PET CARE & HOUSE-SITTING AVAILABILITY: Please message me for a consultation regarding my availability and your pet/house-sitting needs :) I do not offer in home boarding services due to current landlord policies on pets. Landlord policies do not allow unregistered pets in apartment sadly.
About: What’s so great about dogs? They love us unconditionally—and I think dogs deserve to be loved how they love us, all of the time. Unfortunately, it’s hard for owners to always physically be there for their dogs which is what I’m here for! I have several years of experience as a dog sitter and walker for dogs of all ages. Whether it is a puppy being potty trained or a senior in need of medical care. I will give your dogs the care that they deserve as if they were my own, while also ensuring that I follow any previously set obedience rules that you may have. Mostly, though, I’m just a huge animal lover and would be grateful to share that love with your dogs!
“I boarded my cat Libby for the very first time. I was very nervous about boarding/leaving her but I was gone too long to leave her alone. I found Lenore on Rover. After looking at several people which did not impress me, I found Lenore and immediately liked her profile. During the process of signing up, Lenore sent several messages asking about Libby. It made me feel like she really cared about animals. We left Libby with Lenore for 9 days. She texted with me and sent me pictures every day!! She showed so much love and care for her I was afraid Libby might want to stay! Lenore really does go above and beyond to take care of your fur babies! I could not be happier. Lenore made my holiday trip so enjoyable. I could relax knowing Libby was well cared for. I will definitely use her again and cannot recommend her enough!!!”

“Mallory is great with cats and having a cat of her, we knew she’d be perfect for Dusty. She was very professional, replied promptly to my messages and had the logistics of cat-caring down pat. Best of all, she understood cat behavior and she knew to leave Dusty alone and let him do his thing. We received photos and updates and just knew he was content. Overall, we are very happy with Mallory and we would definitely book her again! Thank you!”
