“Ross was super helpful and trustworthy! He communicated very promptly with us after we booked and throughout the remainder of our booking period, and did everything we needed. We were gone for almost two full weeks, and knowing that Ross had everything taken care of and was keeping us updated the whole time was a huge peace of mind. He also updated us once about something going on with some exterior contracting work on our house unrelated to our pets — which we did not ask or expect him to do, but he did out of kindness and thoughtfulness. Last thing - Our animals are shy and warmed up to Ross quickly!”

“Asked Mackenzie very last minute to help us out with our pups, and she came through! Reliable, communicated well, and fairly priced! We will be asking for her help in the future!”

“Once again, Lauren did a great job visiting with my kitty. She sent me a video of the 2 of them playing so I know she engaged with Slick. It was good to see them both so happy!”

“Kerrigan did a great job with my kitties! Beulah doesn’t usually take to people and she was eating treats in Kerrigan’s lap. Gladys was her bossy self. It was nice to know that they were in good hands.”

“Our second time booking with Izzy and she is awesome! We really trust her to watch our elderly cat and she has been very communicative as well.”

“Paige was so great watching our cats when we went on vacation! She gave them lots of attention, sent great pictures and was very communicative. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“She went above and beyond to take care of our cats! We got tons of photos each visit, regular communication, and she even grabbed a package or two left on the doorstep. Her care and attention to our pets extended to our home when she even shoveled the walkway during a blizzard. We highly recommend her!!”

“Julie helped me last minute with my cat. Great communication and nala was well taken care of. New sitter for me but I will book her again when needed.”

“Megan did a great job watching Bella Mika while I was gone. House was clean when I returned. I’ll use her again!”

“Lillian did a fantastic job as a sitter in my home for my new kitten while I went out of town. I got pictures and updates throughout my time away, which I really appreciated. Lillian took good care of my home and I plan to use her again.”

About: Hello, My name is Nicholas! My mother is a vet tech so since the day I was born I was surrounded by animals. She is my role model on many things and most important with animals. I see your pet not as a pet but a member of your family that I will go above and beyond for. I have pet sat in the past ( both cats and dogs) and I loved every minute of it. I've sat from hyper dogs to very shy cats. I understand each pet is different and requires different needs and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep your animals happy and healthy. Right now I'm Working just part time two days a week. I usually work till close (which is 10pm)but am more then willing to go on my lunch to check in on your animals! I have a fenced in yard and loving family members. We also have two dogs. There are also local parks near by and the neighborhood is nice and safe

About: I have always had such a big heart for animals, and I’ve been caring for them since I was 7 years old. I currently have three cats and one very spoiled dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or sticking to a routine, I treat every pet like family. My schedule is always changing, so I will fill in to help whenever I can. I am currently in college and looking for a flexible job that I enjoy. Every pet and home are treated with respect. My main priority is to comfort any pet while their family is away and keep them safe and healthy!

“She was wonderful, she was fast responding and always made sure my cats where taken care of.”

“She was great with my two boy cats. She updated me on them without having to ask and reassured me that they were settling in without trouble. Would definitely recommend and would book again for future boarding.”

“Great service”

About: It’s my mission to give your dog as comfortable and safe of a stay as I would want for my own pup! I have loved animals since I was a little girl, I grew up with dogs in the house so when I moved to California and couldn’t have my own I started working with Rover to help care for others and bring dogs back into my life. I have 5+ years of experience of dogsitting and walking all types of dogs with many different personalities. I’ve taken care of puppies and worked on potty training as well as taken care of senior dogs who need special diets and medicine administration. I strive to make sure I understand all of your dogs needs and the special things that make them unique. This year, I foster failed and brought my own dog into my life. Piper is the sweetest girl who is always thrilled to have another furry friend in the house. If you’re booking an overnight boarding or in home day care with me, you can rest assured that Piper is dog friendly and ready to share all the love and attention. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to take care of Piper in a way that never leaves her wanting a walk, food, or potty break. I will make sure your dog is treated the same! Pet care is already interweaved into my routine. We take 2-3 walks a day, potty breaks as regularly as 2 hours if needed and plenty of time at home for cuddles and love. Without a fenced in yard of my own, walks are very important in exercising my own dog. We stay on leash any time we are outside. When we are inside dogs are allowed on our furniture and beds but I utilize crates as a safe and calming space when needed. For stays in my own house I like to do a slow and safe introduction to Piper to make sure the dogs get along. If dogs ever need separating for a break I have multiple rooms for the animals to decompress.

“Heather was excellent and took care of our dog and cats while we were out of state for 10 days. She set up a meet and greet with us before hand and then stopped over to meet the pets and learn how to take care of them. She was great at communicating and sent us updates and photos each visit. We will absolutely contact Heather again when we need a pet sitter. Thank you Heather!”

Sparta cat parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time using Rover and we are very happy with the experience. Kelly came out to meet us and the cat (and our dogs who loved her!) before the appointment. She was very respectful of our space, made sure Theo was alive and had plenty of food and water. Theo doesn’t come out for anyone but he came out of his hole to say hello and get some pets. We will definitely book Kelly again in the future.
