About: For dogs who need more energy burned off, I’m happy to do a run instead of a walk, depending on weather and your dog’s needs. My pace tops out at a 10-minute mile, and I can get down to a 9-minute mile as the weather cools. If your dog is comfortable with other dogs, I’ll also bring along my own dog, a blue heeler, to run together. On the flip side, I’m also a big believer in “sniff walks” — letting the dog lead the way and take in all the smells they want, at their own pace. I listen to podcasts during these, so I’m well-practiced at going slow and staying patient. About: I am the friends and family dog sitter! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I could still pet them for hours and not get bored. On average I stay at someone houses for a week while they’re on vacation as well as but not as often a weekend stay. As well as drop in visits to feed, walk or let pets out to do their business. I am great will all breads and sizes of dogs/cats, as well as ages such as senior animals. I personally took are of our 90lb 11 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback after her back legs gave out. So while using a harness I would help her do everything, such as standing up to eat, move around and go outside. I can also do things like trimming nails and bathing them (especially if you unable to bath them yourself). I truly care and feel for every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently not working full time at the moment and have been doing small jobs here and there such as dog sitting for friends and family. I have a great portion of time for spend getting to know and engaging in your pets. I’m available anytime after 9am. I will care for your pets the way I would care for my own and in such continue their regular and daily routine. Including things such as walking them in the morning/night, playing with them and loving them or any other needed or wanted activities.
