I reached out to a couple of folks on rover and Miranda was one of the first ones that replied and was able to take Roxy. This was my first time as a doggy dad leaving Rox with with somebody I didn’t know. We met Miranda at her house and after meeting her found that she is truly a really nice person that truly loves animals and made it easy for me to leave her there. Roxy took to her almost immediately. I picked Roxy up the next morning and everything was great. She’d been walked and had play time few times and she was her normal goofy happy self. Great job!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 12. Family friends woukd trust me to to take care of their cats and dogs when they went away for a while. I would help take care of the house as well. I love to go for walks with my dogs and go about 3 days a week with my dog Remi. I can watch dogs and cats when my family friends need me too. But also work part time at Pet Supplies Plus so I need a bit more time to plan when I work and when I can stop by and take care of pets. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, follow their normal feeding schedule, provide exercise and playtime, clean up after them, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I also administer medication if instructed, keep their environment clean and safe, and update owners with photos and messages. In a client's home, I respect their routines and care instructions to help pets feel comfortable while their owners are away.
