About: Hi! I’m Ashleigh 😊 I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have a few years of dog-sitting experience, caring for both my own pets and my neighbors’ dogs. About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. About: **Beginning 9/22/26 we will be taking a few months hiatus as we welcome our first baby! If you are one of our routine clients, feel free to message us anyway as we may be ready to take dogs sooner - you never know 😊** I moved away from the New England area during the pandemic and came to the Midwest where I didn’t know anyone. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. Thankfully, Rover and other apps helped, especially when I was able to travel again. I'm looking to help out in the same way this app and others helped me. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly, two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, we have a loft area, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
