I work very close to home and am able to check in on my own pups every 4-6 hours. After work we go on a 30-45 minute walk and then eat dinner.

We have a fenced in yard with three other pups to keep your dog company. We have a crate available if needed and we can always separate the dogs if needed during the day if yours prefers to be alone. Our neighbors know not to interact with our dogs if we are not present and are typically home so they are able to keep an eye on the neighborhood as well. Having four dogs of our own has forced us to dog-proof our home as much as possible, so no worries about them getting into anything.

We would like to know if your dog has a history of fence jumping or door breaching. We do not want to be in a situation where we need to find and persuade your dog to come to us outside of our house and yard. It is normal for dogs to experience a bit of anxiety coming to a house for the first time and we understand that there may be accidents, but if need to clean up urine or feces daily during your dog’s stay we will request that you cover a cleaning charge. We are not a professional kennel with a staff on hand to clean up messes and our home is not something that can be cleaned with a power washer. Finally, if your dog shows any signs of fear or aggression during the meet and greet or drop off we may decline service for the safety of my wife, myself, and our pups.

We love to go on walks with our pups every day and if your dog is great on leash the we usually walk them all together. When we get home we let the pups run around in the back and they will usually find for us a ball to throw, a rope to tug, or a jolly ball to push around. If they just want to hangout on the couch, that’s fine too.

I normally stroll around the neighborhood with my own pups and get asked the question, “are they ALL yours?” Or “are you a dog walker?” I guess that will happen when you are trailed by three dogs. Well I figured I might as well be paid for it! I have had dogs in my family since I was a kid, but it wasn’t until the last 8 years that my wife and I started adopting rescues. We went from 1-4 in a span of four years! It has been a learning experience. However, we were finally able to not only to walk them all on leash without dragging us around, but also together. We have had other dogs board with us and have been able to walk them with our pack as well. While not formally trained as a dog trainer, my wife and I spent several years training horses and working on desensitization. This has given us a a great deal of experience in reading animals, but also being patient with them during the training process.

You could not ask for a better couple to care for your fur babies.
Jacob took great care of our dog while we were away! We were kept updated, and a very happy pup was returned to us. Extremely impressed with the service, would highly recommend and absolutely book again.
Took such great care of our little dude! Really appreciated the meet and greet beforehand. Kevin came home exhausted from playing all weekend. Great communication and felt that they really cared about the his wellbeing. Definitely recommend!
Jacob took excellent care of Kumi while I was away. She got plenty of exercise, friends to play with, and treats. I received regular updates accompanied with photos and video that put me at ease. She was boarded for 3 weeks and I would completely trust Jacob with her care again.
