Although our pup was really happy to see us upon our return, I saw no signs of stress in her over the next few days after our return. Olivia sent us photos and videos showing different interactions she had with our pup, these made us more comfortable and our vacation more enjoyable!! Thank you Olivia!!”

“It was our first time using Rover and having Elizabeth for a cat sitter. We have a high maintenance, 5-cat situation so we don't go away all that much, but we took a chance and hired Elizabeth for a few days and she was fantastic. She asked a lot of excellent questions and made good judgment calls. Elizabeth kept me posted as to her comings and goings, how the cats were doing, and sent me daily photos of our content kitties. Our house was just as clean, if not cleaner, than when we left it. Our cats are very sloppy when they eat and their mats were spotless. All the tracked litter was swept from the floors and even the containers the litter scoops sit in were clean. I would definitely hire Elizabeth again for future cat sitting needs and highly recommend her services. A+++”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I love to be around them. My dog is 13 years old and my sisters have 3 other dogs around 7. I am currently looking for a full time job so until then I am completely free for whatever you need! Whether that’s walking or staying overnight at your house. My dogs all free roam but sometimes I have to be careful with what I leave out for one of them so I can be cautious of what’s left out and crate them if needed.

About: I’ve had cats all my life and dogs for the majority of my adult life. I currently have 2 males cats, both fixed, only one is declawed. And I have a 12 yr old male husky who is also fixed. I’m home most days during the week, just let me know your needs and I’ll let you know if I can make it work 😊 My dog is a full time outside dog, I have a fenced area for your dog and my dog is fine being fenced or chained outside the fence if your dog needs to be separated from mine. My cats are both indoor full time. I only have one liter box but starting this I will probably get another one if I have a cat visitor.

About: As a pet care professional, I strive to help care for your pet. I’ve worked with animals since a child and love being around them every day. Recently, I became a part of the GVSU alumni. I am CPR & First Aid certified for dogs and cats. I have experience with taking care of pets with many different kinds of medicines and other accommodations. I work full time but a lot of flexibility with my schedule depends on how much notice is given. This is something we can discuss further based on the request of your accommodation! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs of my own in the house who can either keep yours company or can be easily separated. We can always schedule for a meet and greet prior to any services!

About: As I grew up we had many dogs. I stayed home from school a couple times to help my dog have puppies who then stayed in my bedroom as their safe place. It was so fun helping to raise those babies, cuddling them each night and running around the yard playing. I love animals. I am a little socially awkward around my fellow humans but immediately can be comfortable with an animal. I had a pet cat who had to sleep with me every night. No matter what positioned I shifted in she'd climb back up on me any way she could. One night I woke up and reached down to pat her and what do you know... She gave birth to 3 kittens right there on my bed in between my knees. Haha gross but I love these babies so I just patted mom set up a new bed for her and babies in a little box and felt honored and felt so safe with me. I'll play and cuddle your babies too. I have an Australian Shepherd named boomerang and his name directly reflects his personality 🤣🤣 he's very sweet and loving and loves other dogs but he's got some pretty intense energy levels!! I do have one cat. Papaya and who is a girl. She's 17 years old but still always want the loves. 😀 I have stayed over night while people went away to take care of their pups and I loved every minute of it!! I even find myself deep cleaning the house too since I'm a housekeeper by day. I currently work part time. I work two days a week on Tuesday and Wednesday doing housekeeping and then I also clean for an Airbnb but that is more sporadic depending on when a person would check out. But I'm always open to having your pup over or going over to visit for walks after I am out of work on those two days. One of my favorite things about being a housekeeper is all the puppy love I get from the many animals I have in contact with. You honestly start to build a bond with these animals you see bi-weekly. it's super special. I have a large back yard that's totally fenced in and we love to go on walks. The dog park is closer to us and we love to go on nature walks. so the grand Ravine dog park would be a great time for us!! I do have two young children who do love animals so much and want to pet every dog we ever see when we're out. They are 6 and 9 and full of energy. My cat however is not really a dog fan (she's just so old 😔) but she'd most likely just hide.

“I seriously cannot thank Carly enough for coming to my home and taking care of my THREE!! high maintenance, pay attention to only me, dogs. We booked a spur of the moment trip to Torch Lake thinking that one of our two adult children, (or one of their friends), would be around to watch them. Except that they were out of town with their friends! I've never kenneled before, and I asked the Rescue for references. They are the ones that suggested Rover.com. I signed up and asked three house sitters if they were available that weekend. I chose people by location and reviews. I received a reply from Carly and someone else who I thought was a bit rude. Carly suggested a meet and greet to see how the dogs interacted with her and to see if both of us were comfortable. The idea of a stranger staying at our house seems weird, we are territorial and we don't trust a lot of people. But when we met Carly, we just had a really good feeling about her. She is warm, friendly and funny! The dogs all loved her too. She went through how she handles dogs, how she stays in your house, what she's comfortable with and what we're comfortable with. She said that she wanted us to come home and have it look like she was never there. And it did. We seriously felt relieved. When the time came, Carly was very patient and flexible with last minute changes and a huge list of instructions. She did everything I asked: was at the house during certain times, wiped goopy bulldog eyes, cleaned up after them if necessary, sent videos, updates, pictures and most important of all, loved on them. I was more relaxed with her watching them then my own adult children! I will definitely ask Carly to watch our dogs again, and would highly recommend her. I am also trying to figure out a way to have her come by and let the dogs out a couple of times a week while we are at work. From this overprotective, cynical, territorial, and slightly paranoid fur mom, I am very thankful we found Carly.”
