“Shirlene watched our house while we were away for the weekend to celebrate our wedding. She took great care of both of our dogs and made sure to keep us updated every day with pictures and videos. When we got back from our wedding, the house was clean and tidy, and the dogs were happy and healthy. About: I love dogs but can’t have one of my own where I live so I love dog sitting and dog walking for friends. Eventually the hobby turned into a side gig! I work part time so I am available in the mornings until 9:30, then I have a long lunch break from 12 to 1:30, and I’m free again after 4. So I have lots of time for play visits, bathroom breaks, and walks. I can’t have dogs at my place, so I can only take care of dogs at other peoples homes. I’m happy to spend the night if your dog likes company but just as happy to go home after a night walk.

“Victoria was really great watching both our dogs during our 5 day trip. She kept the dogs on their normal schedule and made sure they got any special medication they needed. I really appreciated her asking the type of communication we preferred during our trip and she touched base with us just frequently enough to make us feel good while still letting us enjoy our vacation. I also appreciated her observations of the dogs and their behavior (rough playing & ear scratching), checking in with us to ensure it was common or something that needed attention. The dogs seemed relaxed and content when we returned which was a great sign. We’d use Victoria again in the future!”

About: Hello my name is Michael and I love all kinds of pets! I have always been very responsible, punctual and I have a passion for taking care of and adopting all kinds of animals. I've been around dogs and cats my entire life, and have also had birds, lizards, bunnies and even chickens. I'm extremely comfortable with all dogs from small to large breeds as I've owned several myself, including a sweetheart pitbull named Lucy. I currently have a Husky name Vayda and a cat named Naomi. I love cats as well and have always had a cat my entire life. I have volunteered at animal hospitals and am comfortable with rescues or animals needing special care. One day I hope to open up a dog and cat rescue. Currently I take classes online and run several small online businesses so my availability is completely open. Almost all of the work I need to do is remote so I can dedicate most of my time to Rover when needed. I am fortunate to have a large backyard that my husky and cat like to play in together, and I take Vayda (the Husky) on walks several times a day, mostly to the local park, or around the beach where she loves to play fetch and splash around. They both require a lot of brushing so I make sure to brush them several times a day as well. I keep a strict feeding schedule to keep them happy and empty the litter and clean out the backyard regularly. When it comes to other people's pets or ones with special care, I always make sure to ask if they have any allergies, if they have any injuries, or need any medications and how to properly administer them. I always make sure to keep spaces cleaner than I found them if possible and respect and communication are very important values to me.

“Brynn did a great job housesitting and watching our senior pup Lola. Lola has a lot of quirks with walking, eating, sleeping, etc., and Brynn navigated them with great respect and care for her. I’d definitely have Brynn watch our dog and house sit for us again.”

It’s clear that she loves animals, and she has a very natural, easy way about her — she even won over our super shy, skittish cat within only a few hours.
