Let me know if your dog is anxious or unsure about strangers/other dogs/kids. This will help me make a good first impression with your pet (i.e. I'll give them lots of space + treats) and allow them to feel safe in my presence.
A typical day
Did you know that just 20 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to an hour's walk in terms of enrichment for your dog? Sniffing is a dog's way of exploring the world, gathering information, and simply enjoying their surroundings. That's why I'm a firm believer in "sniffaries"! So, during our walks, I don't rush your dog along. Instead, I give them the time they need to indulge in the sensory experience. Whether it's a stroll through the park or a leisurely neighborhood walk, I let your dog set the pace. Also, there's no such thing as too many dog photos! So while I'm taking care of your dog, I'll be sure to send over a lot of pet pics throughout the day. That way you know your dog is living their best life and you don't have to worry.

What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my genuine empathy and patience, particularly with anxious dogs. Having successfully helped my own anxious dog, Bagel, adjust and thrive, I know how important a calm and nurturing environment is. I take my responsibilities seriously and am committed to following all of your instructions to the letter (I myself have a 4-page document ready when I leave Bagel with anybody ;)). You can trust that your pup will receive the same level of care and attention that I provide to my own pet. My background in pet sitting has also allowed me to gain valuable hands-on experience in handling various pet personalities and needs. Fun fact: My sister is a canine behaviorist and I've been lucky to learn positive training techniques and insights directly from her into what's essential for animal welfare.

Kimberly stayed in our home with our 4 month old puppy for a long weekend. She is very trust worthy, was so sweet to our pup, and took great care of our home! She also had great communication while we were away - sending many updates & pictures. Highly recommend!!
Kimberly has watched our pets twice and was amazing each time. She stay overnight and when our flight was canceled she was a lifesaver and stayed another night. She is very kind, trustworthy and flexible. We will be using her in the future for sure!
