About: As someone that calls my dog "my daughter" - I know how important it is that your dogs are happy and safe while you're away! I have always been a huge animal lover and grew up with dogs (among other animals such as hedgehogs and turtles...) I live in a townhome in Encinitas with my boyfriend and mom, who are both also major dog lovers. As I am currently getting my masters degree online, I will be the person with them all day taking care of them! I have one dog named Fudge- a 10 year old medium sized cavalier/ bernese mountain dog rescue. She is mellow and usually keeps to herself. She is fine with sitting on the couch all day or going on long hikes or spending the day at the dog beach, so we are used to all kinds of activity levels from dogs. I have experience with dogs of all ages- puppies to seniors. I will treat your pup like my own and provide customized care to make sure they feel spoiled and loved during their stay. I am working on getting my masters degree in behavioral analysis online and not currently working a job so I will be home with the dogs all day. I have a fenced in yard and also commit to walking my dog daily. I can bring the dogs on many adventures such as hikes, parks, dog beach, etc if the family desires or feels comfortable with that.

About: I’ve taken care of several dogs over the years from close friends and family. I’m very keen on listening to every dogs’ needs and helping them get their energy out. I’m a part time student, so I have plenty of free time to care for dogs. I focus on my studies mostly at night, which give me the rest of the day to focus on dog sitting. About: Me and my fiancé are both former dog owners. No kids (yet). No other pets. We would love a dog but waiting to see if we have our own kids first. We are super active, I take 5 mile walks everyday, so would be happy to do lots of walks. We are 5 minutes from the beach. I love dog cuddles and am ok w them on the couch with a dog blanket. We have a fenced in concrete patio w a gate to an unfenced yard. Large grassy areas, walking paths, lagoon walks all right outside our town house. Prefer potty trained dogs only please, but I wfh and can take them out regularly. I wfh, run my own business, make my own schedule so I have tons of flexibility. I also am an avid daily walker and v affectionate dog person. My life right now is actually ideal for a dog, but me and my fiancé want to wait until after our wedding before we consider getting one of our own. I would say very high level of care! I had a pitbull / lab for 12 yrs. He was 70 pounds and needed a lot of exercise and cuddles! I’m a very loving dog person. I believe care is not just food, water and walks, but affection & attention are as important. I’m doing this to satiate my desire for a pet, without the full commitment (just yet).

I'm an avid walker and love being outside, so having a four-legged companion to walk with rather than going solo is something I genuinely look forward to. I'd love a dog of my own eventually, but the timing isn't right for me just yet so caring for other people's dogs is the perfect fit for where I'm at right now: real companionship, real routine, without the full-time commitment. It genuinely works well with how I live day to day. As mentioned, I provide calm, attentive, one-on-one care, regular walks, easy backyard/doggy-door access, consistent feeding, and lots of play and affection. Laila did a great job of keeping me updated and taking care of Cali. I was gone for several weeks, and many days were very hot. She walked Cali early and adjusted to whatever care was needed. Taylor is always our #1 choice for a dog sitter, and this was another wonderful experience. Our doodle has anxiety when he is away from us so we needed a place for him that was calm and he felt comfortable. Jane and her home were perfect. Jane is so kind and gentle with our dog.
