About: As someone that calls my dog "my daughter" - I know how important it is that your dogs are happy and safe while you're away! I have always been a huge animal lover and grew up with dogs (among other animals such as hedgehogs and turtles...) I live in a townhome in Encinitas with my boyfriend and mom, who are both also major dog lovers. As I am currently getting my masters degree online, I will be the person with them all day taking care of them! I have one dog named Fudge- a 10 year old medium sized cavalier/ bernese mountain dog rescue. She is mellow and usually keeps to herself. She is fine with sitting on the couch all day or going on long hikes or spending the day at the dog beach, so we are used to all kinds of activity levels from dogs. I have experience with dogs of all ages- puppies to seniors. I will treat your pup like my own and provide customized care to make sure they feel spoiled and loved during their stay. I am working on getting my masters degree in behavioral analysis online and not currently working a job so I will be home with the dogs all day. I have a fenced in yard and also commit to walking my dog daily. I can bring the dogs on many adventures such as hikes, parks, dog beach, etc if the family desires or feels comfortable with that.

They made the time for a quick meet and greet with their dog, Zuko which was appreciated. During our trip, I got photos and videos to reassure me that Koa was doing ok. About: I've always loved dogs and we miss having a dog around. I've had a dog for many years and also volunteered at a shelter. We recently lost our dog at 13 years of age and though we are not ready to commit to getting another one we would love to take care of yours. We have a big fenced in yard so lots of land to roam and I love to go on walks so there will be plenty of exercise if your dog enjoys it. I am mostly home and will give your dog lots of attention. I do have 2 daughters aged 7 and 10 who also love dogs and will help out, but that means I can only take on dogs who are good around children. I only take on 1 persons/families dog/dogs at a time. I'm home most of the day apart from picking up/ dropping off my children and a few other commitments during the week, but wouldn't be away from home for more than 3 hours. I have a large fenced in yard and no other pets in the house. It's me, my husband and 2 children. I will base my care upon what your dog is used to and needs to make transitions as easy as possible.

Our doodle has anxiety when he is away from us so we needed a place for him that was calm and he felt comfortable. Jane and her home were perfect. Jane is so kind and gentle with our dog. Very great experience for my dogs. Ari gave updates regularly and sent photos. Would highly recommend. My dogs can be nervous but they took to Ari quickly and didn’t have any transition issues when they returned home which I know can sometimes happen for nervous dogs.
We left our Wheaten Terrier, Finn, with Linda for a week, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Linda, her husband, and Sammie took wonderful care of Finn and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Kari was amazing with Britt! This was our first time leaving Britt with a caregiver, and we felt very comfortable leaving her for a long weekend.
