“Olivia and Sebastien were so great! This was the longest we’d ever left our dog Millie, but we got so many great pictures and videos we knew she was having a great time!! They were responsive, friendly, and had clear communication with us. They went above and beyond to make sure all Millie’s needs were met / special requests were followed. Their dog Zuko is also so great, Millie had a great time while we were away! Would recommend them to anyone.”

“Linda & Zach are amazing! They watched our 5 month old puppy for 4 nights. They gave us updates and sent pictures of all his fun! Our puppy was in heaven with fun walks, play time with their other dogs (who are very friendly), and a great yard! We will definitely use them again!!!”

“May, Marc and sweet, little Pepper are superb. I always feel relaxed knowing my baby is with May. It allows me to concentrate on what I need to when I have to be separated from my pet on business trips 🥲🙏🏻. THANK YOU May and Marc. 💖”

“Friday was so happy with Eric and Takako. They have 2 adorable chihuahuas. They took him on walks and sent me pictures, Friday looked so happy. I’m so grateful we found a great family that I feel comfortable leaving Friday with. Thank you Eric and Takako for making it so easy for and sooooo fun for Friday. He misses you guys.”

“Mya was a dream! She took care of our little guy as if he were her own. Very communicative, sent lots of photos, and really focused on Oso, his walks and playtime all weekend long. We'll definitely be leaving Oso with her again in the future. :)”

“Lori is very nice and quick to respond to messages, usually including a photo of my sweet boy, Otis, to ease my worried mind and heart while I’m away and missing him so much!!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Cherie and her family took such wonderful care of Roux while we were out of the country! We received multiple photos and updates daily. He loved her family and their dog. Our primary sitter moved out of the area so we are so happy to have found Cherie! Thank you!”

“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved furry friend, Leo, to an exceptional sitter, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met at the meet and greet, it was evident that Leo is in capable hands. The communication was top-notch, and Kimberly took the time to understand my pet's unique needs and routines, ensuring a smooth transition while I was away. The daily updates and photos she provided gave me peace of mind, knowing Leo was getting comfortable living with Kimberly and her kind family. Ranger and Ginger are both very cute and friendly! What stood out the most was her genuine passion for animals. They went above and beyond to keep my dog active and engaged, and it was heartwarming to see the bond they formed. I think Leo was looking around for Kimberly when he came back home :D I wholeheartedly recommend Kimberly to any pet owner in need of a reliable and compassionate caregiver. Thank you for creating such a positive and pawsitive experience! :)”

“Kris and family are incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, and made our dogs immediately comfortable in their home. She was very easy to communicate with keeping me up-to-date with messages and photos during their stay. We are happy we found a safe staycation for our dogs when we are away.”

“Excellent service and communication. I booked less that 24 hour prior and Priscilla was available and relieved our stress. We will definitely work with her again! Thank you”

About: Hi! My name is Magda. I moved to the U.S. from Poland five years ago, and animals have always been one of the biggest parts of my life. Sadly, my childhood dog recently passed away, and it reminded me just how much joy animals bring into my life. Right now I can’t have a dog of my own, so caring for other people’s pets means the world to me. I recently left my full-time job to focus on a new chapter where I can spend more time doing things that truly make me happy. Rover is more than just a side job for me—it’s a chance to connect with amazing animals while helping their owners feel completely at ease. I’m a very active person and usually walk at least two hours every day. Whether it’s long neighborhood walks, trips to the beach, parks, hiking trails, or simply relaxing at home, your dog will have plenty of attention, exercise, and love. If your pet enjoys cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed, they’ll have plenty of affection from me too! Since moving to the U.S., I’ve lived in homes with pets almost the entire time until recently, so being around animals has always felt natural. I genuinely love getting to know every dog’s unique personality and making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. One of my biggest dreams is to one day volunteer in Africa helping endangered wildlife, so caring for animals has become much more than a hobby—it’s something I’m deeply passionate about. As someone who’s still building a life and community here, I’d love to meet local families, build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners, and hopefully become the person you can count on whenever your furry family member needs care. I hope your dog and I get the chance to become great friends! I recently wuit my job and want to work fully remote. I want to focus more on my physical health that”s why i will have a lot of time to go for walks or run in the park. When i work on my computer i usually do it from the couch so doggy can count for a lot of cuddles. I live in a studio so your dog will be contantly watched. I have fenced backyard and most of the time will walk in a safe dog friendly areas. Dogs usually create quickly trust with me and i trust them so i do know how to act no matter if the dog is active or more calm
“Evan was great! Our normal dog sitter cancelled right before our planned trip. In a frenzy, I came across the Rover app and gave it a try! Evan accepted our booking request even though we were booking at the very last minute! By last minute, I mean we dropped our dog, Jack, off at his house within 1/2 hour of booking! Evan and his family were very kind and our dog got on well with the other two dogs in the house. We received pictures and updates throughout the stay which made us feel better about leaving our pup with someone we didn’t know. I would book with Evan again!”

“Elizabeth hosted our doggy over a weekend while we went out of town. Booking with her was super easy as she was super responsive! She took great care of Lynx and we look forward to working with Elizabeth again.”

About: I’m a dog mom with many years of experience taking good care of pups of all ages and sizes. I work from home with an extremely friendly dog of my own so your dog will have company all day and night! I work fully remote with a flexible schedule. Your dog will always get a morning walk with mine, potty breaks whenever needed, and I can accommodate any feeding schedule. I’m available to provide daycare and board most weekdays and most weekends. I have a fenced backyard patio for potty breaks and time outside. Your pup will have free rein in the house with a doggy playmate. I generally do not crate or cage my dog when I’m out of the house, but can separate your pup as needed based on your requirements. “Shannon was an outstanding sitter for Axxl, my Huskey/Shepherd mix. Her professionalism along with frequent text updates, photos and a fun video confirmed just how happy and comfortable he was with her. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cardiff
Very great experience for my dogs. Ari gave updates regularly and sent photos. Would highly recommend. My dogs can be nervous but they took to Ari quickly and didn’t have any transition issues when they returned home which I know can sometimes happen for nervous dogs.

Madeline saved the day when we had a last-minute travel disruption and took on watching our Australian Shepherd with very little notice… She took such great care of him for the weekend and he had the best time… thank you so much again for taking such great care of our baby!!!

We left our Wheaten Terrier, Finn, with Linda for a week, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Linda, her husband, and Sammie took wonderful care of Finn and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Linda kept us updated throughout the week with messages and photos - it was clear that he was treated like part of the family. We can definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and attentive dog sitter.

Kari was amazing with Britt! This was our first time leaving Britt with a caregiver, and we felt very comfortable leaving her for a long weekend. Kari sent regular photos, took Britt on 2 daily walks, and truly treated her like her own dog. Her family also embraced Britt with open arms. We would definitely use Kari's services again!

Kristina and Sean were great with our energetic pup, Barley! Barley was able to fit right into their daily walks and runs since they were already an active family. They also provided daily updates and pictures of their activities and were very responsive throughout the boarding.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
