Looking for a responsible, dog-loving sitter? I’m a full-time working from home software engineer who is a HUGE dog lover with years of experience volunteering at PAWs, a no-kill animal shelter. I live 5 minutes walk from Del Mar dog beach. I’m very active and go on a long walk or hike daily. While I don’t have any pets of my own, your dog will receive my full attention and care. I’ll ensure they get plenty of exercise, fun, and love during their stay, also lots of photos and updates ☺️— making sure they have a safe and enjoyable time!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Naru was an incredible dog sitter. She went above and beyond our expectations! It was raining while she was dog sitting, so she even offered to take my Pomeranian, Toby, to the dog groomer for a bath (completely optional). I could tell that she really took care of Toby while I was away based on the regular updates and pictures she sent to me throughout his stay. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future. Our dog Muchu loved staying with Naru! He got lots of activity and snuggles and attention. We got updates and photos every day. So happy to find someone nearby to love our pup the way we do when we’re not in town!
Lots of photos, videos, and excellent communication. My pup had some wonderful nature field trips, and you could almost see him smiling in the photos. Naru was also super considerate to reach out to me when a second pup wanted to book her for the same weekend to make sure that was ok with me. My dog was happy upon pick up . Naru also let me know how my dog’s mood and eating / toileting were going . Smiles every time I got a message. Highly recommended!!
Naruemon was so easy to coordinate with and kept me updated while she had my pup!

Schedule
I work full time remote. My work schedule is 9-5pm and is flexible. I usually wake up around 6am and do some hiking or long walk daily.

I live in an apartment- no yard. I live 5 minutes walk from Del Mar dog beach. I don’t mind your pup gets on my furniture.
A typical day
We will go for a walk, run at the park. We will enjoy watching movie together on the couch. During the day, we will play tug of war, cuddle, do a mini hike.
