About: I have owned, walked, and dog sat for neighbors/friends since I was in high school. I love every dog and they are all good dogs! I currently work Sundays and Thursdays all day but I can be flexible depending on my client schedule. Request it and I can let you know if it works:) I am great at following any instructions. Whatever you have requested of me I will be happy to do! Dogs deserve the best so I will make sure your dog is happy and well cared for.
“Tori and her fiance were great! They we’re very communicative, responded quickly when I texted them, took my two dogs out for about 11 minute walk even though it was dark out so they could get some exercise and go to the bathroom. I only used her for a drop in service this time, but would not hesitate to use her to come and sit at my house in the future.”

“Analisa took such great care of our cat! I got timely updates and lots of photos during each visit. She was easy to communicate with and very thorough. Would definitely have her back!”

“Mya is so attentive & kind to my guineas! When I explained how to take care of them, she took notes which no sitter has done before. She’s playful and kind to my guineas too. Super communicative and overall the best!”
“Sara does a fantastic job taking care of our two kittens! She has a great demeanor and was extremely willing to do whatever was needed to ensure our furry family members were happy and well taken care of while we were away. We will absolutely keep her at the top of our list for caregivers going forward!”

“Tauri was phenomenal. Extremely detailed, careful to cover every question and need we had, and spent extra time and effort making sure our dog Sadie was comfortable and cared for. She provided detailed reports each visit and Sadie warmed up to her immediately, it was a great comfort to know our dog was in good hands while we traveled. We will definitely be booking with Tauri again!”

“Dana is a lifesaver!! I was nervous about leaving my new pup with someone new, but she's been absolutely fantastic!! I can go to work with peace of mind knowing that Tamayo is in great hands!”

“Sara was great! This was my first time ever using a Rover, i was the typical worried dog mom who overshared, left detailed instructions and sticky notes everywhere. Sara was always ontime and her notes reports were thorough. Huey appreciated her presence and calmness. It was a smooth weekend trip. Definitely will book Sara again!!”
About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life—growing up with both cats and dogs taught me early how to care for pets with love and patience. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to sitter for my friends whenever they go out of town, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just making sure their pets feel comfortable and cared for. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, and I always do my best to match their energy and routines. Whether your furry friend is energetic and playful or more laid-back and shy, I’ve got them covered! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’m available for regular walks, drop-ins, or extended care depending on your pet’s needs. I keep my availability up to date and do my best to be reliable and consistent, so you can count on me to stick to your pet’s routine. I’m also happy to coordinate a schedule that works best for you. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and follow all instructions closely—from feeding routines and walk preferences to any special needs or behaviors. I take extra care to ensure doors, gates, and crates are always secure, and I never leave pets unattended longer than agreed. I stay attentive during walks and in the home to keep your pet safe at all times. You can expect clear communication and regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.
“Olivia was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover and she made me feel great with her constant and consistent updates about my baby. I would 1000% recommend for anyone looking for help with their animal kiddos <3”

“Always professional and friendly, great communicator, prompt with timing, did beyond the requested time and took our dog for a great long walk on a very last minute request. Nothing but the best always!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life, a chihuahua and now a golden retriever who is 5. I love all animals and pets and have experience walking neighbors dogs 4x per week. I am an avid walker and love walking dogs and have walked multiple dogs at a time. I am considerate, cleanly and will take great care of your pets and home. My family and I spent 2 summers fostering dogs from Helen Woodward Animal Center. Fostering consisted of taking care of puppies, adult dogs for 1 - 2 timeframes until the pets were ready to go up for adoption. This taught me a lot about caring for animals and giving medication, if needed. Last, I also have experience with Female Athlete Volunteer (FAV) organization and have volunteered at senior care facilities during events. I am currently a full time Senior in high school and have class from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. I am available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Once summer starts, I am available full time Monday through Sunday. Since I’m still in high school, I only care for pets in my client’s home so they can stay in a place where they’re already comfortable and used to. I try to keep their routine as normal as possible such as feeding them on schedule, making sure they get enough walks and playtime, and giving them lots of attention so they don’t feel stressed while their owner is away. I’m very mindful about safety as I like keeping doors and gates secure and locked, using leashes on walks, and making sure they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I will also be respectful of your home and keep things clean, follow any instructions you leave, and will send updates or photos so you know your pet is doing well. My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing that your pet is safe, happy, and well taken care of while you’re gone.
“Aimee was absolutely incredible and so good with our cats! They don’t like new people but they loved Aimee even from the first meet and greet visit. She was so good about keeping in touch with us with any updates during our trip and I had so much peace of mind knowing she was looking after our fur babies. Could not recommend enough!”

“Paz was amazing! She took care of everything, that I asked her to do. Sent pictures during the visits. And my cat wasn’t meowing much after leaving him for 4 days, which is a huge win. Very happy with the results.”

The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Cardiff is $25

Simone is wonderful! She took such great care of our senior golden retriever…feeding, walking, and giving her medicine, massages and lots of special attention. Simone is very trustworthy, responsive and communicative, and she sent me photos every day. I recommend her 100%

Cindy’s love for animals was apparent during our meet and greet. Bella LOVED her and immediately asked for pets and belly rubs as soon as she walked in the door! Cindy was very conscientious about asking questions about Bella’s care, she was very reliable and showed up twice a day on time and sent the most ADORABLE pics of Bella playing and having fun. My cat means a lot to me and I don’t like to leave her, and Cindy put my mind at ease that she was given proper attention in my absence. I recommend Cindy to anyone needing quality pet care!

Ari is EXCEPTIONAL!!! We have a VERY uncomfortable 11 yr old pup and do not ever leave her alone. She warmed up to Ari extremely fast. Her communication was excellent. You can instantly tell her love for pups (animals) Couldn’t be happier finding her on this App. We will absolutely be using her in the future and are thrilled with the peace of mind knowing our pup is in incredible hands ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Emily was a very attentive and responsive cat sitter, especially considering our request was very last minute. She really went the extra mile checking to make sure her automatic litter box cleaner was functioning correctly and when she noticed it wasn’t working with me to help troubleshoot it. Would recommend anyone looking for reliable pet care!
Cary is a wonderful caring petsitter. She was just the right person to stay with our shy, quirky, older Bernese Mountain Dog. She understood that our girl is shy and needed to make the first moves to become friends, which Cary understood and they became good friends. Communication was great, lots of cute pics from walks and chilling out. 100% happy, 100% would use her again. Highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
