About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how important it is to have someone you can genuinely trust with your pet. I’m comfortable caring for everything from energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and stimulation to senior pets who need a slower pace, extra patience, and attention. I also have experience administering medications and following specific feeding, medication, and care routines. I’m very active and spend much of my free time hiking, walking, and exploring outdoors, so I’m especially happy caring for dogs who love longer walks and plenty of activity. Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my day. I’m available for morning, daytime, and evening walks or drop-ins, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests as well. Since I travel full-time, I spend several weeks at a time in each area and keep my Rover availability updated so you’ll always know when I’m local and available. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home, and I’ll make sure everything is secure, clean, and comfortable before I leave. I also believe communication is a huge part of earning your trust. I’ll keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.

About: With a lifelong love for animals, I bring years of hands-on experience to pet care. Since I was 11, I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors, walking and caring for their pets like my own. I have a dog and a cat at home, and I understand how much pets mean to their families. My goal is to provide them with all the love, attention, and care they need while you’re away. My schedule is pretty flexible, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets and give them the attention they need. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can usually adjust my schedule depending on the pet’s routine and the owner’s needs. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any house rules. I also make sure they get plenty of attention and are never left in an unsafe situation.

About: I have worked in a number of rescue facilities as well as loved 2 rescue dogs and a number of rescue cats myself. I am also currently an online teacher so I am available for whatever hours needed throughout days or evenings. My schedule is super adaptable for your needs and I am very communicative throughout the entire experience. I currently work online so I can be anywhere at any time for meeting pet care needs. I am hoping to fill my schedule and help out as much as possible. I offer in client's home care for pets by scheduling one day prior typically and arriving early to get set up or shown the routines. Care will vary based on what client's specific needs are, but I like to communicate, and operate above and beyond what client's expectations are. I know how I would want my furry kiddos treated so I won't treat yours with any less love or care.

About: I started dog walking and pet sitting 5 years ago. Desiring a dog of my own, my private yoga and Pilates clients started saying "watch mine!" and quickly I became booked for dog sitting most weekends and almost all summer. I grew up with horses and three dogs so I am very comfortable around animals of all kinds. A former Division I volleyball player, I'm active and love taking a daily walk or two listening to a podcast, so I might as well bring a dog along! I'm single and do not have children so my schedule is flexible. I do work in person in an office in Cardiff but am able to care for dogs before work, at lunch, and after work. My weekends are free. I do not care for pets in my own home but am happy to care for them in their own homes whether it is coming over for a visit or walk or dogsitting/catsitting and staying the night.

About: Hi! I'm Ashleigh, and I love spending time with dogs of every age, size, and personality through walks and drop-in visits. Whether your pup is a bouncy puppy still learning the ropes, a senior who needs a gentler pace, or somewhere in between, I'm happy to adjust to what they need. I have hands-on experience with extra-large breeds — my own dog is a 120 lb Alaskan Malamute, so I'm very comfortable with big, strong, and sometimes stubborn breeds that need a confident, calm handler. I know what it takes to safely walk and manage a large dog, from leash handling to reading body language. I'm also cat-savvy, so if you have a cat at home, no problem — I'm comfortable and respectful around feline housemates during drop-in visits. I have a flexible schedule with consulting and I'm available Monday through Friday, mornings until mid-afternoon. If you're heading to work and need someone to swing by for a walk or a check-in on your pup, I've got you covered during those daytime hours when they need it most. Since I offer walks and drop-in visits rather than in-home boarding, your pet stays in their own familiar environment the whole time. I focus on safety during the visit itself - secure leash handling for dogs of all sizes (including XL breeds), checking food/water, and following any specific instructions you leave for feeding, medication, or routine. I always double-check doors and gates are secure when arriving and leaving, and I send photo updates so you know your pet is safe and happy.

About: You will love that I will provide great and personal care to your animal, they will feel my need and love not just for the money,but because I love animals I will treat them like my children and hope that my trust is earned by all dogs/owners I persuade to take care of! I have had experience with training dogs friends and strangers alike and have had experience working as a receptionist at an animal hospital,I love animals like my children as they are. My availability is open at the moment. I love running,as well as exercise so this is perfect accommodation without complaint. About: I’ve always had a love & passion for animals & have taken care of dogs & cats since I was a little girl. I’m currently a Vet Assistant & have been in the industry for about 3 years. I have emergency experience since I work at a Vet ER hospital & in the General Practice for Veterinary Care. I’m working full time & per diem at my other clinic. For house sitting while working, I spend as much of my free time with the pet at the owners residence. I love interacting & being with pets. About: I’ve been a big pet lover my whole life. I’ve raised 2 cats and 2 dogs (a terrier and a Rottweiler). My furry best friend passed away last year so I find this opportunity to help out other families and friends in need of assistance as a blessing to experience and offer my services. I currently work remotely so I am very flexible with schedules of anytime during the day/night. This allows me to work around your schedule and needs! About: Farm raised girl with snow white syndrome. I was a house and pet sitter for 2 vets in the San Francisco area, and I've recently relocated back home to San Diego. I specifically love sitting because it allows accept gig work in computer science. My only animal currently is a special needs geriatric cat that I've adopted, and she has her own room separate from visiting animals. As a former chef with holistic health background, I am capable of providing custom specialty diets for additional fees. I am happy to engage with pets in active training, mental play, and running. I am comfortable with infant animals and special needs animals. Anything I haven't seen before on special needs, I am happy to learn. Absolutely obsessed with brachycephalic dogs (where are my bullies at?!), and working dogs that often don't receive enough stimulation in their lifestyle (cattle dogs, I'm looking at you!). Geriatric cats and dogs are my soft spot. I currently work weekends only while changing my career industry, so I have M-F free! I am able to include runs in sitting care, but they need to be scheduled during temperate morning and evening times (this is for your dog's comfort as well.) I have a fenced yard and a medium-sized standard home crate. I am happy to sit at others homes- if the location is not close enough for morning/evening stops or requires a companion overnight, I request a cleaned area for my floor mat as I do not use western beds. This means houses with active pest issues such as cockroaches or spiders that may pose a health risk to me sleeping on the floor (if overnight required) will be rejected on site and any dispute will be referred to arbitration via Rover.

About: I grew up with dogs, both big and small, including my own as well as fostered puppies my whole life. I am home sick and missing loving my furry friends at home. I currently work from home 5 days a week and have a flexible schedule. I live a very active lifestyle and love to go on walks. I have a very pet friendly environment and have taken care of multiple of my friends dogs. My apartment is animal friendly with space, comfortability, and allows us to tend to animal needs.

About: I love dogs but can’t have one of my own where I live so I love dog sitting and dog walking for friends. Eventually the hobby turned into a side gig! I work part time so I am available in the mornings until 9:30, then I have a long lunch break from 12 to 1:30, and I’m free again after 4. So I have lots of time for play visits, bathroom breaks, and walks. I can’t have dogs at my place, so I can only take care of dogs at other peoples homes. I’m happy to spend the night if your dog likes company but just as happy to go home after a night walk.

About: Had a dog for over 10 years… have helped family members and friends over the years with pet sitting /dog walking. Just graduated from college and looking for a little extra income doing things I love like hanging out with animals! About: Specialized care for dogs with medical needs or mobility challenges — and just as much love for the easygoing ones. I've had animals in my life since I can remember, and connecting with them has always come naturally to me — dogs who won't let strangers near them tend to warm up to me fast, much to the surprise of their owners. That instinct is backed by real, hands-on experience — with cats as well as dogs, including medical care and behavior work (more on that below). My own dog is a blind tripawd — I've been through amputation recovery firsthand, along with multiple other surgery recoveries, daily medication schedules, and eye drop routines. When he started losing his vision, I trained him to navigate the world confidently and learned how to walk him safely even as a blind dog on three legs. That means I'm comfortable with: • Post-surgery and mobility recovery (amputee/tripawd care, braces, restricted activity) • Daily medications (pills and liquid), eye drops, and other at-home medical routines — including administering meds for other people's dogs, not just my own • Vision-impaired dogs and adaptive walking/navigation cues • Cats with medical or behavioral needs (see Cat Care section below) I also have experience with leash reactivity and dog-to-dog reactivity, and anxious or fearful dogs — I've worked closely with a veterinary behaviorist and excellent trainers over the years, putting in the real, patient work to rehabilitate a traumatized rescue. I'm comfortable taking on reactive dogs, though it's not my primary focus. And of course — dogs with zero "issues" are always welcome too. Sometimes the best job is just a happy walk and a belly rub. Beyond dogs, I bring over a decade of childcare experience, which turns out to translate surprisingly well: patience, reading body language and mood, sticking to routines, and staying calm when things don't go as planned.
