About: Hi, I’m Jennifer! I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs as part of my life for as long as I can remember. They truly feel like family, and I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I recently lost my own dog, and while I’m not quite ready to adopt again, I really miss having a furry companion around. Rover is the perfect way for me to spend time with dogs while giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. I’m dependable, responsible, and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pup needs a relaxing stay, an energetic walk, or just plenty of affection, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work Monday through Friday from **7:00 AM–4:00 PM** and I work from home on **Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays**, which allows for lots of companionship, potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. I’m also available most weekends and may be available for evening dog walks during the week. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. My goal is for every pup to feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away. She is well behaved, loves meeting new people, and thrives on playing with other dogs. She’s also very active—my husband and I take her on walks and runs at least twice a day. While we have an unfenced yard, we take our own dog out multiple times a day for walks and potty breaks and can do the same for your pup. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. I’m very active and would love to take your dog to the beach, out on a trail, or for a long walk, but I’m just as happy spending the day with a couch potato who would rather lounge in the sun. I’m flexible and happy to follow whatever routine and pace works best for your pet. I also have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and am comfortable with the extra patience and attention they often require, including medications, mobility limitations, frequent breaks, and established routines. I’m dependable, attentive, and communicative, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet seriously. I’d love to build consistent, long-term relationships with pet parents and become someone you can trust to care for your animals again and again. I also have access to a larger home that I can utilize depending on the needs and comfort level of each pet. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me.

About: As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner I look at animal care from all aspects. I make sure they get good nutrition, exercise and interaction with other dogs. I am okay with senior dogs' needs, like diapers or special soft food or medication or even hand feeding. There are no cancer causing pesticides being used around our home and only bio-degradable non-toxic cleaners. For me dogs are supporting and protecting us on our journeys physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. I also offer canine massage. My husband and I are working from home and our daughter (19) is currently taking online classes. All of us love animals very much and enjoy being around them... We have a fully fenced yard (6 ft) and 2 little dogs ( one senior and one puppy) to keep your dog company. We have balls and toys to play with and your dog is welcome to share the dog beds and our couch with everybody. Our porch door is open all day which makes potty training easy and gives your dog plenty of outdoor time. We usually take everybody for a nice sunset walk and can add a nice beach walk to the day. We do not use any pesticides or harsh chemicals and there are no toxic/ poisonous plants in our yard/home.

About: Most walkers provide walks and love. While that works for a lot of dogs, high energy dogs like mine need exercise, discipline and leadership. If your dog needs this kind of care, I’m your guy! Outdoor intense play and no worried about difficult dogs! Two long sessions of walk + play. Love training dogs and dealing with their energy. There’s time for love and cuddles too, but the priority is exercise and activities We live in a townhouse with a big terrace for dogs to chill and play, always supervised. But usually they just want to rest when they get home from our training, walking and playing sessions. Fun!

About: Farm raised girl with snow white syndrome. I was a house and pet sitter for 2 vets in the San Francisco area, and I've recently relocated back home to San Diego. I specifically love sitting because it allows accept gig work in computer science. My only animal currently is a special needs geriatric cat that I've adopted, and she has her own room separate from visiting animals. As a former chef with holistic health background, I am capable of providing custom specialty diets for additional fees. I am happy to engage with pets in active training, mental play, and running. I am comfortable with infant animals and special needs animals. Anything I haven't seen before on special needs, I am happy to learn. Absolutely obsessed with brachycephalic dogs (where are my bullies at?!), and working dogs that often don't receive enough stimulation in their lifestyle (cattle dogs, I'm looking at you!). Geriatric cats and dogs are my soft spot. I currently work weekends only while changing my career industry, so I have M-F free! I am able to include runs in sitting care, but they need to be scheduled during temperate morning and evening times (this is for your dog's comfort as well.) I have a fenced yard and a medium-sized standard home crate. I am happy to sit at others homes- if the location is not close enough for morning/evening stops or requires a companion overnight, I request a cleaned area for my floor mat as I do not use western beds. This means houses with active pest issues such as cockroaches or spiders that may pose a health risk to me sleeping on the floor (if overnight required) will be rejected on site and any dispute will be referred to arbitration via Rover.
