“Elizabeth truly took time to get to know and care for our girl Sweets. She was wonderful to communicate with and very understanding of the special needs and quirks of our sweet girl. We recommend her and will be using her again for sure!”

About: Full-time dog walker and pet sitter. Expanding Pet Nanny by the Sea, serving north County since 2004, with Terry Nelson. Pet enthusiast and owner of two whippets and a cat! I graduated from USD and after working in tax and SEC Reporting, I left my Accounting career to be a full time dog walker and pet sitter, expanding Pet Nanny by the Sea. I'm available to be with your dogs for regular walks or overnights and your pet would never be left alone more than 2 hours. My home has a fenced yard, outdoor couch for sun bathing and we always have a few dogs around to keep yours busy. I live a few minutes walk from a beautiful dog park for daily walks and just a short drive from the beach. I love letting the pups run off leash (if allowed) in the park or dog beach.
About: Most walkers provide walks and love. While that works for a lot of dogs, high energy dogs like mine need exercise, discipline and leadership. If your dog needs this kind of care, I’m your guy! Outdoor intense play and no worried about difficult dogs! Two long sessions of walk + play. Love training dogs and dealing with their energy. There’s time for love and cuddles too, but the priority is exercise and activities We live in an apartment but, believe me, dogs just want to rest when they get home from our training, walking and playing sessions. Fun!
About: I am well-versed in taking care of furbabies from all walks of life. From pet-sitting my childhood neighbor's senior dog with cancer to caring for local cats on my college campus, I love and appreciate all animals. From walks to overnight stays, my top priority will be to make sure your loved one is safe, happy, and comfortable, while you are away. I have a kitty with heart issues so am very adept at giving medications. My pup is an ACD mix, so I am able to handle high energy working dogs! I love to do a mix of mental and physical stimulation. I am a hybrid worker and love taking walks to get some fresh air and am also happy to have a furry companion by my side. I take Merle (my dog) out every 2-3 hours. I have a greenbelt behind my place, large patio, and clean home. My cat is very sweet and gentle and mostly sleeps all day. I have many clean water and food bowls, treats, and live near a lot of green space for your dog to prance around in.
“This is the third time Alex and Madison have watched Dude. I feel so secure when he is in their care and they send photos and updates which I love! I believe Dude thinks he is having a play date when he's there - lots of walks!! I will most definitely ask them to watch him in the future.”

About: I have my own 2 yr old dog, who I have raised since he was a puppy. I’m very responsible and treat all pets like they are my own. You will never need to worry about your child, as I know how important communication, and following your detailed instructions are. Tell me what your pet loves! I work remote so I am very flexible when checking in on your pet. Full time job that is Remote M-F. I make my own schedule most of the time which will allow me to check in or watch your pet at anytime. I make sure to take my own pup on walks early AM. But happy to adjust to your pets needs I live near dog parks, i walk 10,000 steps a day, and my pup is very friendly. I’m always home. If you’d like your pet to not to be around my pup this is understandable and we can discuss this.
About: I grew up with animals as family and my best friends. My father was a dog and cat trainer in Oregon. I bond quickly w/ animals bc I'm grounded and trustworthy. Consistent exercise, positive attention, and healthy treat reinforcement for good behavior, help reinforce bonds of communication and consistency. I will love your animal as if it were my own. I work from home so I'm attentive to every need of your pet. I go on neighborhood, park and beach walks throughout the day. I will keep your pet safe and they will have fun. Your beloved pet can go anywhere it wants as they are family (unless you prefer no couch, I will respect that and reinforce that behavior). I have an outdoor porch your pet has access to (a pet door). It is secure for dogs but not for cats. We go on multiple walks a day. I will treat your pet as if they are my family.
“Christian really helps our family out. He’s very communicative / quick to respond and keeps you updated on how your dog is doing. He shares pictures and videos throughout your pets stay and has a great environment for your dog to play. We have rebooked him multiple times! Highly recommend.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Justin and Tara! They were very responsive and friendly from the start, which made me feel at ease leaving my dog in their care. Throughout the stay, they sent me frequent updates with texts and pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear that they truly care about the dogs they look after, and my pup was well taken care of and happy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Caroline is the best sitter I’ve ever had on Rover! She is so sweet and goes above and beyond to make sure you and your pup are happy with lots of updates along the way.
