About: Hello! I’m a dog owner wannabe, but for now, I'll borrow your dog and treat them with the utmost care and love. I've grown up with dogs my entire life and am acquainted with how much walking, playing, and affection these awesome creatures need, as well as a schedule to maintain routines. I mostly work from home and can be available for many types of needs. I'm an organized, punctual, and absolute dog lover who will also try and be as flexible as possible to help meet your needs. I have experience in administering insulin shots to diabetic dogs as well. I understand the importance of consistency and can carry out routines and schedules with fidelity! I have a flexible schedule and looking to have some fun pup time involving walks, trips to the dog park, beach or any environment you prefer your dog to explore. I treat all animals with the same respect and love as I do for the humans in my home. I have a young child and am looking to teach him how to interact safely and respectfully with animals. Our backyard is fenced and well secured.

About: I can understand the sometimes uneasy feeling of leaving your four legged family member with someone else. That’s where I come in! I will be your pet’s new best friend and take care of them with the love and care that I would for my own - making sure runners don’t escape, that your daschund is picked up mindfully of their back, your maltipoo’s coat is maintained, your anxious dog is approached with gentleness and patience. No pet care is one-size-fits all and I will customize your pet’s experience to their individualized needs and desires. I have over 10 years of experience with dog sitting both large and small dogs. Behavioral correction is the priority and I may be a small person, but if your dog pulls, I can lift 145+ lbs. I have experience from training puppies all the way up to senior dog care. I can care for senior dogs and accommodate to any mobility issues as well! I care for the safety and emotional wellbeing of all animals and provide compassionate care. I’m excited to meet my new friend! Let me know if there any questions or concerns I can address and we can work on a game plan for your little one. Depending on the day I may be available throughout the morning/afternoon/evening. Generally house sitting is available every day. Weekend availability varies but I can be accommodating based on scheduling requirements. I offer care in the client’s home only as of right now, and can provide excursions for extra enrichment as needed. I can help with exercising active dogs in an effective manner this way.
“Brittany walks my golden weekly and always does a great job! She is punctual, attentive, and a good communicator. I recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy person to take care of their fur child.”

“Michael is always so flexible and promptly responds to last minute requests due to our hectic work schedule. He is great with our puppy as he is still working on leash skills! Thank you Michael!”

“Lena is great. My favorite dog sitter. She is a dog lover and does everything to make your dog happy. I boarded my dog with her. And she did all the things he loves. Takings him for long hikes in the mountains, bring him to yeh beach , play with him ball , let him play her so she take him out numerous times when he wants it even at 5 am. Even bake doggie Cookies for him ? My dog loves her now and doesn’t want to come home and always waits for her to come to pick him up . Dogs know real stuff :)”

“Brianna was amazing! Went above and beyond, even offered a meet and greet prior to the walk to make sure everyone was comfortable :) definitely recommend and will be utilizing her in the future!”
About: I grew up with many cats and adopted/foster dogs and began volunteering at my local animal shelter when I was 16. Through these experiences, I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and levels of timidness. Three years ago, I adopted a previously-abused, very insecure Siberian husky who, with patience and love, has blossomed into a super friendly and confident dog. I am currently getting my Masters in Business online and working part time. My school schedule is very flexible and I am available for day-of bookings. I will care for your pets as if they’re my own and am dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment. I know how intimidating strangers can be for some pets and how important having patience is. I am detail-oriented and will follow any instructions to a tee and be very respectful of your home if providing drop in visits. I believe in thorough communication and provide consistent updates to ensure peace of mind.
“Hi Mitchell, thanks for taking care of Molly for my last-minute trip! Really appreciate it! I also want to give special thanks for resolving the issue this morning with the door lock. That's above and beyond! 👍🏼 John”

“Regina was great to work with. We met with her before her walks with Daisy so she could meet and greet and had no problems at all. We felt like Daisy was in good hands :)”

“Kristoph is an awesome dog walker! Nancy loves it when he arrives every morning and she gets super excited to see him. Their jogs are great because she gets the exercise she needs and gets home tired and everyone know that a tired dog is a well-behaved dog. Highly recommend Kristoph!”

Jacob was great with our dogs! He was communicative, reliable, and very sweet with both of them. They can definitely be a handful around other dogs, and I really appreciated his patience and honesty about how the walk went. He took great care of them and kept me updated throughout. I would definitely recommend Jacob to other pet parents!

Grace has been walking my two hyper and (sometimes) reactive dogs on hour long walks 1x per week. She’s been great with them, and they both warmed up to her so quickly! Grace is always prompt with communicating and her schedule timing. We will definitely be continuing to work with Grace and I’d recommend her to others, too. Thank you, Grace!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
