About: I have had pets (dogs, cats, birds, mice, fish, horse) since I was a young child and have had over 5 years of experience in a zoo/aquarium setting with more eclectic animals from my work as a biologist. I am an animal lover through and through. I can’t wait to shower your pet with love and attention. I personally have an adventure kitty who I trained to go hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and camping with me. I work remotely so I am able to accommodate your schedule and daily routine. About: I became a professional dog sitter about 3 years ago. Having grown up alongside dogs my whole life, I was so excited to get to know other pets and get to show them all the love I could provide. As a professional dog sitter, I have various consistent families that hire me to walk their dogs, stay with their dogs during the days, and stay at their homes overnight while they're out. I have dog sat for dogs from 10 lbs to 60, young and old! My family's teacup chihuaha lived until age 19 and during the last five years of his life, I was his sole caregiver. I learned all the ins and outs of senior dog caregiving and did everything I could to keep him happy and comfortable through his senior days. A year ago, I got my own dog (and just recently got my second!), which taught me about puppy care and training. My husband and I take pet ownership very seriously and responsibly, and have tried our hardest to give our dogs everything we can :) I work from home with part-time hours, so dog sitting during my days is extremely manageable! I currently have Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays open to watch your pet with full-time supervision. I also have availability Mondays and Wednesdays outside 8am and 5pm. I am a dog person at heart. Dogs are so precious to me, and I completely understand how much you love your pet. As such, I try to provide just as much love as you would give to your dog while you're away. Know that when I am watching your pet, I am looking out for everything I possibly can and treating them as if they are my own. I know how nerve-racking being away from your pet can be, and my goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you're away. We have one dog of our own that we rescued from an organization called The Animal Pad, where they rescue dogs in Mexico who have been living on the streets. I used to board dogs on Rover and had many happy clients. Since then we have moved to a home that doesn’t have a secure or enclosed backyard so unfortunately, I can only offer dog walking and drop in visits. I do not bring her to any rover jobs, unless you have a dog who would enjoy a playdate and specifically ask about her. Since I’m a dog owner myself, I’m always overly cautious for the pets safety and well-being. Pets are kept close to ensure that their safety is always #1.
