I also have experience taking care of and training rescue dogs with reactivity or anxiety. We did our meet & greet and first stay yesterday, and it was honestly my best experience on Rover so far, especially because of how great a time Rocco had and how comfortable I felt. Danielle knows I love receiving Rocco pics, and she sent more than a few, which made me smile more than couple times. I could see how relaxed and happy he was, even though he has separation anxiety. The outside enclosure is small but completely safe. Laminate floors make it an easy clean up if there are any mishaps. I am a retired nurse who creates art at home. About: I have extensive experience with many breeds and special needs dogs. I adopted and raised Paco, a Dutch Shepherd mix dog who passed away at 14 years old in Feb./2025. I nursed and managed him through 2 ACL surgeries since 2020. I also had a Maltese poodle mix, Bella, who has had both eyes removed due to glaucoma. She lived with Paco for six years and passed away at 15 years old in Oct. 2024. I currently live with Zeus, a mixed breed Dutch Shepherd who I adopted in May 2025. About: Growing up with dogs and missing my own, I am looking to help keep dogs happy, healthy and loved by walking, hiking, play and overnights care. My kids and I like to travel and understand how hard traveling can be when you can’t take them with you. I work full time, but will soon be off for the summer. I also have most weekends free and can drop in during my lunch if close to work. I have a great dog park near our place but prefer trails.
