About: I have a counseling background so I’m very patient, understanding, and have a lot of love to give! I love dogs and had a maltipoo named Snow for the past decade. She was our family’s dog, and she always went directly to me when she wanted to go for a walk. We always cleaned her after she pooped outside, bathed her weekly, and triple checked if she had enough food and water. Communication is really important to me and I always tread on the side of caution. I’m very easy going! At the moment, I work at a school until the end of December as well as serve as a barista throughout the week. I’m typically free by 4pm everyday so my afternoon and nights are very open. I live in Carlsbad and drive so transportation should be smooth on my end. I also don’t mind waking up really early to feed and check in on a dog before heading into the coffee shop. I always take time to see what is that helps me build trust with a dog. I am currently watching a friend’s dog who is really traumatized and hides behind a table when I visit. I wait until he’s ready to meet me for our usual walk. Luckily the more I’ve come over, the quicker he’s been to walk up to me. I always let the owner know of any observations I pick up (i.e. if the dog has pooped or peed anywhere in the apartment and where) and I also make sure to clean up right away.
“Sara is a dedicated proffesional with a true love for our four-legged furry friends. We have three girls, all 10 years and older, each requiring individual care. One required injections twice a day promptly at 8:00. With Sara, we were kept informed of daily doings with videos and messages. We always felt like the girls were taken care of. We could tell from the videos that Sara communicated with each girl equally and lovingly. I was so pleased with Sara that I told all my fellow dog parents about her. Sara was also very prompt in responding to calls and messages. Our dogs require 24/7 care and Sara made this a pleasure, not a chore. When we returned home, we knew the girls had been well cared for. We travel a lot and I have had a total of 28 dogs and cats so far in my life. I would never consider boarding my dogs and would rank Sara as one of the best doggie caregivers I have known over the past 50 years. Thanks, Sara.”

Right before we left, one of our dogs started new medication, and we ended up needing Casey to visit the vet to pick up a different antibiotic mid-trip. She didn't miss a beat! Between the vet run and managing medications for two different dogs, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. Matt always comes through for us, even in a pinch. I was out of town and my wife had a day long meeting and we called Matt the day before to watch our two pups with separation anxiety. He flexed his schedule and was able to accommodate our last minute rover request. He’s our go-to sitter as he takes great care of our dogs and is often available when others are not.
