About: I had my first pet at 9, it was a cat that I loved deeply. Since then I have always had at least 2 animals in my care. I take care of my dads three dogs and two parakeets when he goes out of town. I also watched a variety of pets for neighbors all the time growing up. I have been in charge of feeding schedules, medicine administration, and more. Every day is a little different but every animal gets the attention the require plus a little more regardless of what I’m doing that day. I use pet safe scents in diffusers such as lemongrass for the cats. I also keep all chemicals away and only clean the room the animals are in with a vinegar solution.

About: I love animals, especially cats and dogs. I come from a “dog family” but have had the privilege of meeting some amazing cats, and have one of my own now. I’ve had a lot of pet care experience over the years, watching many different family member’s and friend’s animals. Specifically experience with older animals, animals with high needs diets and nervous or shy animals as well. Being aware of and sensitive to dog/cat behavior is super important in providing positive pet care! I’m currently on summer break and have more free time. About: Hi I'm Emily! Having spent my younger childhood growing up in the mountains, I developed an early appreciation for nature and absolute love for animals. My grandma and I used to watch animal planet together and one of our favorite shows was animal cops. Seeing the rescues and transformations inspired me to get involved in any way I could to make a positive impact for animals and people. I often house/pet/babysit and have worked as a camp counselor, teachers aid, and girl scout leader which has made me great at organizing chaos! I enjoy getting involved in the community and have volunteered to benefit family rehabilitation centers, women's shelters, feeding San Diego, as well as several independent animal rescues, including frosted faces who specialize in care for senior dogs. I have at least 10 years of experience of pet care and home sitting.
