About: I've cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments; from energetic puppies to senior dogs, social butterflies to anxious pups, and everything in between. I've also fostered cats and lived with several over the years. No matter the species, I'm an animal lover first and will treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I provide frequent updates with photos and videos and am happy to check in with you as often as you'd like while you're away. Pets are family, and family deserves the very best care! Please note: I have base access and work with families and their pets on Camp Pendleton and in the areas around mainside (oceanside, vista, carlsbad, etc) I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets while you're away. My availability is typically strongest during early mornings, evenings, and weekends, though I do have some flexibility during weekday hours. If my schedule is open, I'm ready to provide your pets with plenty of attention, care, and companionship! As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. I share my home with two dogs and a bearded dragon, so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life. I believe pets are happiest when they can maintain their normal routines and stay comfortable in a familiar environment. Whether I'm providing drop-in visits, walks, or house sitting, I take the time to learn each pet's individual needs, preferences, and schedule. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, affection (if they want it!), fresh water, meals, and any other care instructions you provide. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, loved, and as stress-free as possible until you're back home.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 2 years and have owned and been around dogs my whole life. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, and I always make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and love. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m not currently working any other jobs so I have pretty much full availability, I can host pets at my home with a fenced in yard and dog park in the neighborhood or have no problem coming to you! Fenced in yard, dog park in neighborhood, I have one small baby doodle in the home who is very friendly and loving to keep any pups company, can also keep dogs separate or crated depending on how you prefer your care.
“We had an amazing experience with Angela. She was punctual, communicative, and patient with our more timid dog. She kept us informed throughout her time with our dogs, and we felt very confident and secure while she stayed with them. We came home to a wonderful surprise — Angela wrote us a sweet report card and gifted us a photo of our dogs that she captured. We give her our highest possible recommendation”

“Sara is a dedicated proffesional with a true love for our four-legged furry friends. We have three girls, all 10 years and older, each requiring individual care. One required injections twice a day promptly at 8:00. With Sara, we were kept informed of daily doings with videos and messages. We always felt like the girls were taken care of. We could tell from the videos that Sara communicated with each girl equally and lovingly. I was so pleased with Sara that I told all my fellow dog parents about her. Sara was also very prompt in responding to calls and messages. Our dogs require 24/7 care and Sara made this a pleasure, not a chore. When we returned home, we knew the girls had been well cared for. We travel a lot and I have had a total of 28 dogs and cats so far in my life. I would never consider boarding my dogs and would rank Sara as one of the best doggie caregivers I have known over the past 50 years. Thanks, Sara.”
“Izamar did an amazing job watching our Frenchie Diesel and house sitting! Her communication was great, she sent pics, and took really good care of Diesel and our home. I highly recommend her and plan to use her again in the future!”

“This is my first time using Rower and I’m so glad I did. Katie made this process so easy for me. My dog Lucy is 15 1/2 and have never stayed with anyone before. Katie was great with her so much so that I’m going to trust her with Lucy for 16 days while I’m on vacation. Katie send me pictures of Lucy while under her care and when I came back Lucy was happy.”

“Hannah was great! She was super communicative and provided daily updates on our pups. She was very respectful of our home, and was such a pleasure to work with. I absolutely recommend her and will be working with her again!”

“Miles did a great job with my dog. He’s a super high-energy pup and he was very well taken care of throughout the two weeks I was out of town. Miles was super respectful of anything I asked of him and took my dog out for several walks and trips to the dog park. He quickly answered any questions or text messages from me. Would definitely recommend if you need any kind of help with your dog while away.”

“Heidi was a literal rockstar when it came to watching our anxious dog, Kona. This was Heidi's first stay with Kona and she was really flexible in coming over for a meet and greet beforehand. The key exchange went very smoothly as both me and my husband could not exchange in person. All was going well for the first two nights, until our neighbor in the adjoining row house had a fire in the early morning hours. Heidi got Kona out safely, thankfully no one was injured, and was in constant communication with me, my husband, our emergency contact, even the fire restoration team that showed up later in the day. As you can imagine, with an anxious dog and a new sitter, we were really worried about the situation. Heidi had to relocate with Kona to her boyfriend's house as there would be no water for the rest of her stay. Given the situation, we had our emergency contacts take Kona for the last night of Heidi's scheduled stay; we were pretty concerned about her 'delicate disposition' (i.e. Kona is a basketcase who does not handle change and new people well). We are so thankful that Heidi was there for Kona - and us - with the constant communication, flexibility, and overall care and concern she showed for our little girl. Several of our neighbors mentioned to us that our dog sitter did an excellent job keeping Kona calm while first responders addressed the situation. I think it's safe to say that Heidi is an exceptionally trustworthy individual who can more than adequately care for your fur babies - no matter the circumstances - when you're out of town. Thank you Heidi!!!”

“Chloe did a great job with our dog, cat, and tortoise! She sent lots of pictures and updates and we were able to fully relax on our trip knowing everyone was well taken care of. Would definitely recommend her services!”

About: I have a calm, reliable approach and over 10 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their own routine and environment, which is especially helpful for anxious or sensitive dogs. I’m dependable, attentive to details, and communicate clearly with owners so they feel at ease while they’re away. I’m also looking to build long term relationships with clients, providing consistent, trusted care over time. I am currently working part time so im able to be flexible with scheduling and prioritize maintaining each dog’s normal routine, whether that’s regular walks, playtime, or quiet companionship at home. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific preferences. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and comfort while also respecting the home and maintaining a clean, safe environment. I provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.
“Summer lived up to all of her raving reviews and star status. We’ve hired many dog sitters over the years and have struggled to find the one that meets our high standards. I think we finally found the one! We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Karli was absolutely amazing with our little Bentley. She loved him like her own and made sure he was always having fun. She was great with updates while we were gone and left our home looking great! I know we’ll be going to her for future puppy sitting needs.”

“Alexis was amazing with our 5 month old puppy who is going through a tough stage! She went above and beyond to care for him well and was very communicative with us throughout her stay. Highly recommend her services!”

“Janet was great with our pup! She is professional, communicative, and kind. We feel very comfortable leaving our pup and home under her care. We are looking forward to working with Janet again!”

“Angey took great care of our dogs. She sent many photos and videos f the dogs happy on their walks. She was a good communicator, stopped by to meet the dogs. And a self-starter, she figured out things at the house and with the dogs without a lot of questions.”

“Jennifer house-sat for 10 days at our place, watching our cat and dog. She was friendly, communicative, and responsible. I especially appreciated that she sent us photos nearly every day! I recommend Jennifer for pet-sitting and plan to use her again.”

“Kyle went above & beyond, taking amazing care of my dog, Alfie, & my home. I’ve previously always had family members watch him when we travel, but schedules weren’t jiving this trip, & I figured it was time to find a great dog sitter I can trust to use regularly. I was referred to Rover through a client of mine, and after reviewing a few profiles for in-home dog sitting, I found Kyle. He came by to meet us, & right away I was confident we had found a perfect fit! I got detailed daily updates/photos explaining how Alfie was doing, & what their day consisted of. I was totally at ease knowing his daily routine wasn’t disrupted- Kyle even let Alfie sleep with him (Alfie would’ve insisted regardless, however), and I’m pretty sure my house was cleaner when I got home than it was when we left! Would 100% recommend Rover, and am so happy to have found Kyle. All the stars for Kyle, aka Alfie’s new best friend.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 3,613 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Agra. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Agra walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Agra maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Agra choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Agra. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
