About: I bring a unique level of experience and professionalism to pet care, shaped by over two decades of service as a U.S. Marine and certified dog handler. I’ve deployed to Afghanistan as a combat dog handler, later serving as a trainer and kennel master, where I was responsible for the care, training, and performance of working dogs in high-stress environments. I also hold training certifications from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as well as specialized credentials through the ATF and Department of Defense. This background not only taught me advanced skills in training puppies and adult dogs, but also in providing attentive care for senior and special-needs dogs. Above all, I bring patience, discipline, and a genuine love for animals—treating every dog I work with as if they were my own. I retired from active duty this year and I am a full time student, but I’m generally flexible in most situations and can work through challenges. My current residence is enclosed by a fence with a nice yard and patio area in a calm neighborhood by the pier in San Clemente, close to the beach and trails.

I have cared for elderly dogs where they can only walk one block; I administer meds as directed; I love going to a park or beach and safely run your pet, whether it is wide open or filled with other dogs. I follow your instructions on how to deal with the behaviors of your pet and I abide by my own safety rules as well. I will take out your trash on collection day, pick up your mail and any delivered packages and water your plants. I currently work remotely off laptop Monday - Friday, with great flexibility in my daily/weekly schedule. I would love to give your pets daily walks. I pet sit at your home. I ask questions about their needs, and prefer there be written notes left for me to refer to. Notes would also include medication needs and your favorite two emergency neighbors/trusted friend phone numbers.
