About: We're recent empty nesters looking to share our love with a furry friend. Our family dog passed away recently, leaving a real hole in our hearts, and with our kids off at college, my husband and I miss having that companionship at home. I've cared for animals my whole life, most recently our family Maltipoo, who was with us for eight years. She needed a bit of extra care along the way — including knee surgery on both rear legs for a luxating patella, and extra attention after she went blind in her final year. That experience taught me a lot about patience and hands-on care, and I'd welcome a dog who needs some extra love, whether or not they come with special needs. I work from home, so your dog would never be left alone for long stretches — I have plenty of time for walks, play, and simply being present. Being we live in an area with coyotes and other wild animals, I would never leave your dog outside alone and would always have them with me on a leash including at the local park. With no kids, I will make sure there is nothing they can get into or find to chew on in the home.

I currently have two cats of my own, and I’ve lived with several roommates’ dogs over the years, which means I’ve spent a lot of time caring for different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I also have a close friend who is a professional pet trainer, and I often ask them for advice whenever I want to make sure I’m doing what’s best for the pets I care for. I work part time and go to school part time so I have mornings & afternoons free Monday-Thursday and after that I do attend school from 5pm-10pm those days. I work 4-10pm on Fridays -Sundays and I am available before and after those hours. I can follow any instructions needed to optimize care for your fur family. I will make sure all doors and cabinets to places they shouldn’t be in are secured and they are always safe.

I am currently taking some time between career moves, which means my week is wide open to prioritize your pet's needs. Whether you need a bright and early morning walk, mid-day drop-ins while you are at the office, or evening care, I can easily build my day around your dog's established routine. My own dog, Ares, has his set schedule, leaving the vast majority of my day completely open to step in exactly when you need me. When I am in your home for a drop-in or picking up your dog for a walk, safety and respect for your space are my absolute top priorities. I treat your home with the exact same care I treat my own, ensuring doors, gates, and locks are fully secured before and after every single visit. Out on the trails or sidewalks, I am hyper-vigilant about our surroundings, steering clear of hazardous brush, hot pavement, or unpredictable off-leash dogs. I stick strictly to your instructions and always leave things exactly as I found them.

About: The reflection of a person reflects how a domesticated animal will come to be. Thoughts like these make me want to understand more of why we were put on this world. Animals make me happy. They do things so flowingly and naturally and it’s so unique because it’s so simple. They don’t want to do it, they just do it. Each dog and cat all have their quirks and differences which is why they are so special to me being that all animals are special as well. These thoughts and experiences help me into exploring more of what I want to be as a person with animals and how this could help me to become what I aspire in being and beyond. I go to the gym almost everyday about an hour and a half. I go out most of the weekends usually between 2pm to 1am. 3 adults also live in our household and they already take care of most of the pets in our household. Every single moment counts as animals are in every single moment as well since they are being. To this moment I am still learning to understand all of my pets, they all have their differences and that is what I love so much. I have be different with each one. Adapting is such a big challenge for me because it can require a vast amount of patience and effort. Sometimes things will not go the way you want it to and that’s ok. There will always be another moment to try. These thoughts and reasons are what I want to apply when I’m studying new animals and how I can gain their trust.

About: I've been caring for our dog since raising a training him almost 12 years ago. I had been dog sitting and walking friends and family's pets prior to having our own. I would love to help care for your fur babies!! I'm a mom of 2 and married to my best friend. I'm available during the week most days from 8-2:00. I can do early walks or evening drop ins too. About: I’ve grown up with many different pets since I was a very little girl, and have found that each of them have taught me new and helpful experiences. I’ve worked with animals from hamsters to horses since I was very young. I’m a college student who is back home for my summer break, and I’m looking to spend my free time with some lovely critters. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can work around anyone’s schedule. In my home, we make sure that my pets are always giving love and affection, that they get plenty of exercise inside and outside, and always have access to freshwater and food. This will also be the same in my employers homes.
