Cat Sitting in San Clemente

About: Animals and I have been drawn to each other since I was young. I started caring for them when I was 10, but I always had a love and pull toward them. I've been the go-to person for friends, family, neighbors, and all pet owners to care for all their pet's needs (& wants). I'm a full animal lover who feels in tune to adapt to each animal and understand its unique communication and cues. I've been the person again & again where pet parents say, "Oh, they really like you," "They rarely act this welcoming," or "Wow, they feel comfortable with you!" No one knows a pet like their parent -- so I feel honored each time I get one of these comments! My Pet Sitting Style: First is first, I would love to have a quick call to see if we are a pet-sitting match. And after, meet you and your pet in person before anything else. For coming into a pet's home without its owner, I want to ensure they will be comfortable with me while you are gone. I work remotely, so I can stay with your pet at your home as long as I have Wi-Fi access! I will nurture, feed, play, and care for all your pets needs. And above all, I promise to treat your pets with the same love I would give my own. My work time is split between being behind the computer and in-person meetings, interviews, etc. So while I work from the computer, I can keep your pet company, take breaks to give care and ensure their needs will be met with my priorities. But, I also might be taken for a few hours or more at a time but would be coming back home to your pet/s. When first getting to your home, I will enter just me (without any bags) to ensure your pet is comfortable and secure. I will adapt to the cues they give me, If they want to be left alone, played with, or cuddled! I will take in all care instructions you have given me and make sure your pet is as safe and looked after as possible.

About: I've always loved playing with dogs and taking care of them. I grew up raising dogs, and puppies since I was 8 years old. I have about 18 years of experience with caring for these beautiful animals and I can't have one while I'm at college so this is the closest I can come to having a dog of my own. I'm on summer vacation so I'm readily available. I have experience with rescue dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, bottle feeding puppies and dogs of all sizes. I am currently going to school online at Humboldt State so my availability is very flexible. I am readily available for drop-ins, house-sitting and walks! About: I am very familiar and comfortable with all dogs. I have always had a family dog as well as watched friends dogs on many occasions. I work hybrid and have a flexible schedule. I am typically off by 4:00pm, and home 3 days a week. I am typically always available on weekends. I am always gentle with dogs and can adapt to what they are use to! I love helping with training habits if it helps. I also love to help them get their energy out by playing and walking.

About: A happy dog is a tired dog! I offer dog walks, drop-in visits and overnights at my home. My experience is both personal and professional: I recently lost my beloved 15-year old Labrador. Since I’ve been able to drive (25+ years ago), I’ve also professionally pet sat many fur babies within their homes for extended stays (references available, but Rover was not invented back then🤣). I love the companionship of animals, as well as offering pet owners the feeling of relief that comes with knowing their fur-family is well tended. Whether away on vacation, or you have a long work day, I’m well aware of how nerve-wracking and uncomfortable it is to leave your pet alone for too long. The need for a pet-sitter myself is initially what led me to Rover. At the moment, I mostly board dogs within my home, but am available for drop in visits/walks on occasion. While I don’t have a yard, I’m a stay at home mom who is home all day save for local errands and picking up/dropping off my kids to/from school and activities. I can provide a potty break or walk every 3-4 hours. My kids LOVE animals, so dogs must be used to kids, and enjoy affection. However, rest assured, I don’t let my kids climb on or otherwise irritate your pet. Please contact me to discuss your needs and feel relieved knowing your pup will get a good dose of affection, exercise and plenty of potty breaks while you’re away. I’m a stay at home mom, and husband works out of the home. I have your pet stay with me, or I can visit your place mornings and late afternoons. I board up to two dogs at once. I keep dogs in a gated off area (or your pet crate) while I’m out, and dogs have the run of my place while we’re home. Your pet must be comfortable with kids. However I won’t let my kiddos tug, climb on or otherwise irritate your baby. Your dog must like lots of attention though. He/she will get lots of pets, and if ok with you, some gentle hugs.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a child. I have regularly fostered abandoned and sheltered pets, many of whom were reactive and fearful. I currently have 2 large dogs and 2 cats, all of whom I have trained using positive reinforcement, patience, and lots of treats. I work from home on a very flexible schedule and can make time for walks, home visits, and boarding pretty easily. I am happy to visit on short notice. I have a fenced in backyard and live on a very quiet street. My 2 dogs are extensively trained and well behaved. I have hosted many dogs in my home without issue and I'm able to sequester my dogs away as needed. I never take a dog off leash in an environment that isn't safe, secure, and enclosed.
